“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. I had over 20 adoptions of dogs alone, with two aggressive dogs changed to happy puppies. I currently own a dog who is absolutely great I’m a dog lover. If I’m not able to do specific dates, I will mark them as unavailable to help assist with booking times. Please ensure that your pet is good with babies and other dogs before hand. I had an emergency situation come up and needed somebody to look after my 3 dogs for an ambiguous amount of time (I did not know if I was going to be looking at a daycare sitch or a multi-day stay.) I made a reservation and sent a message to Emily after midnight on a Thursday about coordinating for the next morning and she responded immediately!!! She really reeeeeeeally helped me out of a jam, and even came to pick my kids up for me so I could begin to address my situation right away, even though I am staying well out of her way! She is a doll, and her own pups are a hoot! I couldn’t recommend her more! While living and working on the road it is incredibly stressful to address the contingency where you may not be able to attend to your babies, my dogs and my cat are with me 100% of the time and I have often found myself fretting about what to do, should something happen to me. About: I have pet sat cats and dogs (as well as various reptiles and birds) of all different ages. I have 4 cats and a snake of my own with one cat that takes daily medication. I have fostered cats and assisted in senior pet care (dogs and cats). I also trained 2 of my cats and when we had dogs, I also trained them. I am very experienced with administering medication and caring for pets of different ages! I am happy to take care of your other pets (reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and rodents) in addition to your cats and/or dogs:) Three of my cats are fed twice a day, and my elderly cat gets 4 small meals. I work from home so am able to give my cats plenty of attention. I am fairly flexible with my routine and can easily check in on your pet(s) and walk them 2-3 times a day except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those days I have to be physically at my job so I can only check on your pet(s) in the mornings before 11am and afternoons after 4pm. My cats are treated as equal family members and have a wide range of enrichment within our house: cat trees, toys, a screened in porch, and forage puzzles. Our elderly cat is on daily medication and is showered with compliments (she is a queen and she knows it!) . I spend time every day playing with all of my cats and snuggling them as much as they like. I am incredibly gentle with animals and respect their space. I try my best to maintain a clean, stress-free environment at home and in the homes I pet sit for. I know how stressful it can be for a pet to meet someone new, so I always move at their speed and respect their comfort. About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. “I can’t recommend Cody enough. She is a pet charmer. My 2 dogs and cat warmed to her quickly, she is an excellent communicator, and has a gentle presence. My one dog was nervous and hid before the first walk. Cody spent 30 min gently coaxing her out. After the first walk, all 3 of my animals were comfortable and happy. She sat with them after every walk for extra minutes and shared great pics with me. I will always check her availability first in the future”
About: I’ve spent my whole life taking care of my dogs. Throughout college I had many roommates with cats and grew a love for them as well. Growing up I used to make treats for animal shelters and had a dream of being a vet. Since I’ve realized how much of a dedication vet school is, this seems like a fun way to incorporate my love for animals into something part time. :) I love cardio and am always down for a morning, afternoon, and even night runs. I love to go to scenic spots and enjoy being outside. I am in between jobs right now, so I have open availability for any pet needs! I have a fenced in yard and one 14 year old West Highland Terrier. “We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. We will only be outside in the cooler times of the day and can use the sprinkler if you allow.
