About: I have pet sat cats and dogs (as well as various reptiles and birds) of all different ages. I have 4 cats and a snake of my own with one cat that takes daily medication. I have fostered cats and assisted in senior pet care (dogs and cats). I also trained 2 of my cats and when we had dogs, I also trained them. I am very experienced with administering medication and caring for pets of different ages! I am happy to take care of your other pets (reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and rodents) in addition to your cats and/or dogs:) Three of my cats are fed twice a day, and my elderly cat gets 4 small meals. I work from home so am able to give my cats plenty of attention. I am fairly flexible with my routine and can easily check in on your pet(s) and walk them 2-3 times a day except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those days I have to be physically at my job so I can only check on your pet(s) in the mornings before 11am and afternoons after 4pm. My cats are treated as equal family members and have a wide range of enrichment within our house: cat trees, toys, a screened in porch, and forage puzzles. Our elderly cat is on daily medication and is showered with compliments (she is a queen and she knows it!) . I spend time every day playing with all of my cats and snuggling them as much as they like. I am incredibly gentle with animals and respect their space. I try my best to maintain a clean, stress-free environment at home and in the homes I pet sit for. I know how stressful it can be for a pet to meet someone new, so I always move at their speed and respect their comfort. I do have 2 corgis so for any boarding in my house it is important that your furry best friend likes other dogs and an initial introduction is paramount for a long term stay. This was our first time having someone house sit our three dogs, so I was definitely a little nervous about it, especially since one of our dogs has pretty severe anxiety. Ms. Karen was amazing and really put us at ease! She was super communicative, followed our instructions, and sent us lots of updates throughout the stay. She was also very observant and picked up on the little things with each of our dogs, which we really appreciated. The preparation prior to the stay and the communication and updates during the stay greatly reassured us. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing the pups were well taken cared of. She even went above and beyond and cleaned up before leaving, which was definitely not expected but so appreciated as it made returning easier. We felt like our dogs and home were in really good hands. We will absolutely have her sit for us again!

Olivia was absolutely wonderful! Ollie, my senior Chihuahua, is very nervous and typically does not warm up to new people easily, so I’m always a little anxious leaving him with someone new. She also stayed on top of giving him his medication, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. Lily did a wonderful job with my senior, partially deaf, dog, and guinea pig. My dog can be challenging as he can be a bit standoffish, but she got him to warm up. Also, he only gets pain medication when necessary, so it was up to her observation and judgment. My guinea pig requires daily cage cleaning and feeding, in addition to handling my dog's needs.
