“Joree was super sweet and communicative. Quick responses and very flexible. Left my place looking tidy and with a happy pup to come home to :) Highly recommend and will use again!”

“Our boys loved Elise and took great care of them! One of our pups is terrified of storms and she did a great job following our care instructions and keeping him safe & calm!”

“Elizabeth stayed at our house to pet sit for our senior kitty. Elizabeth gave picture updates and was communicative the entire time while we were away. When we arrived, our kitty had clearly gotten tons of care and attention! The house was also kept clean and tidy just like when we left. Will definitely be using Elizabeth on future trips!”

“Joel has made us feel so comfortable while we’re out of town. He loves and treats our 13 year old Weimaraner like his own. He communicates every day. Thanks Joel for everything!”
“Janna was great! She came by to meet our dogs before we scheduled our trip. The boys seemed to really like her. She asked good questions to get clarification on our instructions. When it came time for her to sit with the boys we had lost our old boy. So, she only had to take care of our young dog. He can be a real handful. She let us know she played outside with him and took him for several walks during the day. We are pretty sure he felt like a king! Some of our plans were cancelled and we did not have to rush back home so we asked if we could adjust the time she would be there. She was very flexible. Since we were returning the same day as planned only many hours later than planned, she returned late in the day to let him out. Not only did she let him out, she took him for another walk. Way above the call of duty! When we got home, Dugan was happy and relaxed. Janna left the house in great shape. She wash sheets - something I did NOT expect but truly appreciated. We were looking for a new "Go To" dog and house sitter and she fits the role perfectly. We will definitely be using Janna again.”

“Cheryl is an amazing dog sitter! We are repeat customers. She stays at our house with our dogs and is a perfect house guest. She always leaves the house clean and the dogs happy, fed, and tuckered out. She sends photo updates of our dogs daily while we are on vacation which we love! We know our dogs are happy and well taken care of when Cheryl watches them!”

“Jennifer is just the sweetest and took such great care of my babies, one who is recovering from a broken leg. I was a little bit nervous about leaving him but Jennifer reassured me throughout her stay. She sent pics and catch ups and took excellent care of my house. I wholeheartedly recommend her!!”

“Ian did an absolutely wonderful job looking after my dog and cat. He sent pics and updates everyday! It really put my mind at ease to have updates like that. I will definitely be rebooking him again!”

About: I've never known life without animals! I've been responsible for pets from a very young age: from gerbils, to cats and dogs, to squirrels and goats, my circle of friends and family have always committed open homes and hearts to furry friends. Every stage of life, every shade of personality, I resolve to provide love, care and accountability. My personal dedication is boosted to professional assurance, as I am a long term caretaker at Mid City Animal House Daycare and Boarding. My part time work schedule is flexible, and I'm almost always in pet care mode since it's what I do! I am available for most services, from dog walking to house sitting, and if your pets would be good roomies with my pets, I am open to boarding on a case-by-case basis! I am comfortable caring for multiple animals at once, and following owners instructions with a keen eye. I am comfortable administering medications, special care instructions (i.e: elderly or special needs animals) and giving walks and baths. I am generally comfortable in unfamiliar places, maintaining a calm energy, respecting property and taking great care to give pets the attention they need in the absence of their owners. If you are interested in boarding with me: I currently provide a loving home to 2 cats and a dog. They are friendly, curious and well socialized with people and other animals. Dot, our boxer-collie, is especially good with dogs, cats and small children. For safety, we are able to easily separate pets either by partitioning/gating off rooms where they can maintain comfort, or utilizing the large dog crate in the front room where your pet will not be sequestered all by themselves, but still have a space they feel secure. I have no allergies, aversions, or phobias. I communicate well and will happily answer questions and provide references.
“E was great with my Theodore! E is timely and genuinely so sweet. Thank you to E 😇 Would recommend to anyone!! I feel anxious leaving him alone, but E eased those worries.”

“This was the first time using this service for me. I was very apprehensive and worried about leaving my dogs. I have a 13 yr old senior who has hind leg issues and is slow to get around. I was so worried he wouldn’t do well if I left him. I also have a high energy, excessive barking dog. She wears a humane bark collar but I was worried it wouldn’t work or she’d still be super hyper on it. Jamie reassured me that it was working great and there were no issues. Jamie gave me text and picture updates and completely alleviated my fears and worries. She takes great care and is very compassionate with the animals and the owners. I would recommend her to everyone and definitely hire her again.”

“Wow!! I couldn’t be happier with Rover.com and especially with Emily. She went above and beyond with my guys. She met with their doggie friends, made sure they got Plenty of exercise and made it so my fur babies felt at ease. Emily was the perfect dog sitter and I would not hesitate to recommend her to all of my pet parent friends and we look forward to hiring her again for any future travels!!”

“Rachel was a great sitter for Sirius! She visited with him all day in my home for a couple of days. She gave Sirius his medicine and kept him company- he was excited to see her each day. Rachel was also very respectful of my home and communicative throughout the visits. Definitely recommend her!”

“Hanna is very attentive and spent a lot of time with my pups while I was out of town. She made sure to get them out, even in the rain, and kept me updated about how they were doing. I'll definitely be reaching out next time I need some doggie care!”

“Paola is amazing to my pups! When I go out of town, it’s such a relief to have someone care for them just as much as I do. She takes wonderful care of them, sends updates and pictures and is just dog-gone great! ❤️🐾”

“Xander was an amazing sitter for my dog and cat while I was away for a week by providing prompt and regular communications and lots of sweet photos and updatesI felt completely at ease knowing my fur babies were being taken so well taken care of. I look forward to working with you again! Thank you!”

“Carly did an amazing job watching my anxious dog, best sitter I’ve ever had! She stayed overnight and sent soo many photos and was very gentle and sweet with my nervous girl. She quickly got her to calm down and I started getting so many cute pictures of them snuggling. I will definitely be asking her to come back again!”

“Khalifa took the absolute best and very spontaneous care of our two dogs. She’s absolutely trustworthy, super communicative. Always kept me updated about my baby’s and they were so happy. I highly recommend her!”

“This was my first time using Rover and an overnight sitter. Carly was excellent! She kept in touch about how my dog was doing and made me feel comfortable. She kept to the dog's schedule perfectly and my indoor/outdoor cat even came inside to hang out - which he usually doesn't if I am not home. My home was immaculate when I got back and both pets were happy and healthy. I will 100% use Carly again to watch my pets when I am out of town. I highly recommend her for all of your Rover needs.”

High praise for Sloan (Josephine S). She is wonderful with my dogs, a senior lady and a big goofy working breed puppy. She fed them and gave them their medication, took them for walks, and looked after our house. It was a great comfort to have a sitter who is smart, observant, and reliable staying with them.

Chloe was absolutely wonderful!! She took great care of our 3 dogs. She stayed in our home and took great care of the place. I really enjoyed getting photos of the dogs while we were away, Chloe definitely understood we would be missing them and took initiative and made sure to keep us updated and our feelings of worry went away. I felt like I could enjoy my vacation because of the great care I knew my dogs were getting. I will definitely be having Chloe back to watch our dogs when we leave town again. Thank you so much Chloe!!

Victoria was amazing like always! She took great care of our pups, and we were able to enjoy our trip knowing they were in great hands. She left the house looking lovely, which was very helpful since we had guests stay with us immediately upon our return. Definitely recommend Victoria!!!!

Adam is a very caring person who watched over our standard poodle and our house for over 2 weeks. He is very communicative. We got lots of videos and messages about how things were going. He played with the dog a lot and took him for great walks. We would absolutely use his services again!

Grace was fantastic. Being away from our pup over the holidays is never easy, but she made it so much better by being friendly, reliable, and very communicative - especially when some unexpected things came up on our street. We were also blown away when we came home to find she had gone above and beyond cleaning (vacuuming, dishes, linens), which we never asked or expected of her, but deeply appreciated. Her dog was sweet and got along well with Watson as well. We’d happily have Grace back anytime and highly recommend her!

Ryan watched our dog in our home, while we were out of town on a short trip. It was our first time booking with Ryan. He made sure our boy kept up with his regular schedule of walks and meals. He took great care of our dog and our home, and washed dishes and emptied trash before our return.
