I’m 34 years old and have been taking care of of other peoples pets since I was in high school. About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! I work long days and Hannah does daily drop-ins for my two dogs. She's consistent, on time, and I get updates every single visit so I'm never guessing. Both dogs are happy to see her, which tells me everything. If you need someone dependable on an ongoing basis, she's it.
Christina is the best! I know that three dogs can intimidate most people but her gentle and understanding attitude put my babies at ease instantly upon meeting. She shared many pictures with me of my babies and you could tell that they were comfortable and happy with her company. I would highly recommend her.

Jan was absolutely fantastic. I have a very unique pack of working and primitive breed dogs, and they definitely aren't the easiest group to care for. After just one meet-and-greet, Jan understood their personalities and made both me and my dogs feel completely at ease. What really impressed me was that he confidently took them on walks,...something that very few Rover sitters I've worked with have been comfortable doing. He handled each dog's quirks with patience, confidence, and a calm demeanor that my dogs responded to immediately. It's rare to find someone who truly understands working breeds and dogs with unique personalities, but Jan absolutely does. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, especially if you have high-energy, independent, or quirky dogs that need someone experienced and confident. I'll definitely be booking with him again.
