About: I have owned dogs my entire life From Jack Russel’s to Great Danes. I’ve volunteered at vets and shelters and provided care for sick and elderly pets. I have pet sat for years and enjoy providing company and comfort to pets when their owners are away/busy. I work from home full time so have a huge flexibility on my ability to take care of pets or work from other locations if needed! I have a large yard with a brand new and secure fence. I have a well trained and friendly dog and two cats that are super friendly!

About: Hi! I’m Kaylee, a student at Loyola University New Orleans, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve had a variety of pets throughout my life, including dogs and cats. I have over 4 years of experience caring for animals and officially began offering pet-sitting services through Rover this summer. As a college student, my availability is based around my class schedule, and I’m available to pet sit whenever I don’t have classes. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that gives your pet the attention and care they need while you’re away! I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting throughout the New Orleans area. I care for pets of all personalities and make sure their individual routines, feeding instructions, walks, playtime, and other needs are followed closely! As a student at Loyola University New Orleans, I structure my daily routine around pet care visits, walks, and house sitting. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate specific times throughout the morning, midday, afternoon, and evening for drop-ins and walks. For house sitting, I base myself directly at your home to ensure consistent supervision, evening companionship, and adherence to your pet’s exact routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priority is maintaining their normal environment and daily habits to keep them relaxed and stress-free. I strictly follow all owner instructions, including meal portioning, fresh water refills, walking routes, and medication schedules. I keep living areas clean, secure the home upon entry and exit, and send clear photo and text updates during every visit so you always have full peace of mind.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs both big and small for friends and family for up to a week at a time. I’m good with both cats and dogs and look forward to taking care of your pet! I also have a cat of my own named Gus Im available most days especially in the evenings. I can be very flexible with times to come take care of your pet. I currently have a lot of availability My own cat gus has lots of room to run around and nap. He has several scratch pads, a litter box, a feeder, several water bowls and lots of toys!

About: Hello. My name is Emma! I know how stressful leaving your pets can be and how important it is to have someone you can trust. I chose to join the Rover community because I have always loved dogs and miss having one in my own home. In the past I had both a shih tzu and a German Shepard. I have fostered many dogs and puppies in the past through TakePaws Rescue in New Orleans. I have experience with both boarding and walking dogs. I like to be active and spend time with animals. I would love the opportunity to help you and your pet. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends. I typically work early morning until early afternoon but have all afternoon and evening free during the week! I’m completely free during the weekend to care for your pets! About: I was always the one to take care of our families dogs while growing up, so I have a lot of experience! Smaller dogs, bigger dogs, senior dogs…does not matter to me! I am currently ending an Americorps term so I have all the time in the world to play with your pups! I also always appreciate a daily dose of serotonin :) I always make sure there are clear instructions or specifics provided by the client when watching their pups if necessary! A safe and trustful environment is crucial in this type of work, which is my number one priority. An attentive attitude is also crucial, especially when being in a clients home.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs, cats, and even a few small pets, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve house and pet sat for over 40 families, many of whom now trust me as their regular sitter. I have experience with pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and care. I treat every animal like family and always do my best to keep them safe, happy, and comfortable while you're away. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for regularly. Whether I’m walking dogs, stopping by for check-ins, or doing overnight stays, I plan my schedule around giving pets the attention they need. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a young kid! It’s always been a passion of mine. Animals are everything! I treat them if they were my little babies. Currently, I am open any hour of the day! I usually prefer watching animals in their environment, so they have no anxiety issues. Whatever works best for you! I ensure they are comfortable and provide playtime. I usually follow the owner's notes and send updates with pictures of their pet! We also go on multiple walks!

About: Hi! I am a current LSU dental student who loves animals. I currently have 3 pups of my own and have grown up taking care of both dogs and cats my whole life! I would love to get to know your fur baby :) I am a current dental student but am more than happy to take care of your fur baby throughout the day! About: I’ve had dogs in my life since childhood, so I understand the special companionship, comfort, and unconditional love they bring to our lives. Dogs truly become part of the family, and I believe they deserve to feel safe, loved, and cared for when their people are away. I recently said goodbye to my beloved 12-year-old dog, which deepened my appreciation for the bond we share with our pets. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I bring that same patience, attentiveness, and genuine love for animals to every dog I care for. I have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of each fur baby. I typically work weekdays but I can accommodate weekends and travel schedules. About: I adopted my traveling friend's cat, Zara, for a year and a half before my friend moved back home during lockdown. Zara and I moved a few times in New Orleans, but she adjusted to our home perfectly once we were settled. She snuggled me everyday and was patient with me while I worked in the service industry. I have also cared for ducks, chickens, two older pigs, and a parrot while one of my friends left the city (New Orleans) for her birthday vacation. During this same week, I cared for my disabled friend's blind cat, shrimp tank, goldfish, and two neighborhood cats she tends to. Even though these friends lived on opposite parts of the city, I split my time snuggling with the furry pets and attended to all pets who had medication or special needs. My love for animals has expanded to animals I never thought I'd get to love on! I hope you can welcome me as your pet caretaker while you are away from home. I'm currently working as remote tutor with students from around the world! I'd love to fill my time loving on pets who will enjoy a safe and calm environment while I teach the youth English. I would love to invest full-time into sitting so, I can focus on my private clients as I progress in my new career. I have extensive experience with disabled and abused pets. My care is specialized for all pets, but the ones who need a little extra care have somehow come into my life and never left my heart. About: I am a pet owner and a animal lover. I have experience with caring for dogs as well as cats. I own a Rottweiler, everybody should know how high maintenanced and how high in energy they are. Knowing that I can handle him with no ease, caring for your dog will be a beeze!!! About: When your pets stay with me, they get my full attention. I'm currently freelancing and work mostly from home, besides the occasional meeting, in-person project, or event. I prefer to host one pet family at a time, so that I can give each client and crew my utmost effort, compassion, and care. I want to make sure your family members are thriving and living their best lives while you're away! I've cared for cats, dogs, and even turtles since I was a kid. I'm an avid foster with the Louisiana SPCA and have volunteered with animal welfare organizations across the state since I was a teenager. I've cared for almost every kind of dog: the chill seniors, the anxious rescues, and the gregarious goofballs. I enjoy exploring the colorful neighborhoods of New Orleans with a companion by my side. I also love teaching and learning new tricks, and I'm always down for an impromptu playtime. In my free time, I'm a passionate circus artist, so I'm usually juggling tennis balls when I'm not throwing them for fetch. I'm currently freelancing, so I have ample free time to care for pets of all kinds. With enough notice, I can generally be available any day of the week at any time. I'm able to work mostly remotely, and I try to structure my days around hanging with your pets at your house or at mine. When I do have to leave pets alone, I make sure they're cozy with fresh food and water, toys, and plenty of napping space. I ask lots of questions during our meet-and-greets and our communications to ensure we're aligned on your family's needs schedule-wise, and so that I understand your pet's normal daily routine. I try to keep my calendar current, so you can see when I'm available and when I'm not, but reach out anytime! Your pet stays with me whether in your home or at my own. My flexible schedule allows me to hang out and check in often. I have reliable transportation that allows me to fetch the essentials and the luxuries, like treats. My home has a fenced yard, so there's plenty of space for secure outdoor activities. I also have a pool, so when it's hot, there's a place to cool off. If I'm boarding your pet, I'll follow your lead when it comes to swimming. If your dog loves water, we can swim together, and if they're not a swimmer, I'll make sure we stay dry. I'm always happy to share more details about our yard during our conversations or a meet-and-greet. On walks, we use the leashes and gear you provide and that your pet is familiar with. Alternatively, I can also bring my own leashes if you'd like. I follow your instructions around feeding, routine, and medications (I appreciate having your instructions written down). I refer to your preferred vet and pet hospital information. As a local New Orleanian, I'm resourceful and knowledgeable about the multitude of pet resources in town that help your pet stay healthy and happy, from clinics that offer free vaccines to local restaurants that are pup-friendly.

About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! We have a modest fenced in yard, as well as one dog and one cat of our own. Both are friendly with all species! We have ample space (spare bedrooms) to set up up a crate/kennel if desired.

About: I've always loved animals and am naturally compassionate. While growing up my family had a small breed dog, and I personally owned hamsters and fish which I was the sole caretaker of. I am also a former Junior [Zoo] Keeper, which equipped me with reptile care experience. As an adult, I have had a German Shepherd, cats, and fish as well. I am adaptable and am confident in my ability to provide competent care for a wide variety of species. I am available for house sitting any days of the week, and available for drop-ins and walks after 5pm Mon-Fri and all throughout weekend days.
