About: ---> Sorry, I do NOT accept most spunky, young dogs Over 30 pounds. Most of the small pets I care for cannot physically handle playing with most dogs over 30 pounds. There's no setting for that weight on Rover. (Unless your pet is an elder and/or they're very mellow) <--- My name is Melissa (aka. "Missy"). I'd like to care for your precious pet the next time you need some help. Do you have somewhere to go, or something to do? Let me help you, at your place or mine!?! You can book your pet for a caring, one hour, drop-in visit to your home, a few overnight visits, or an extended stay at my house. Do you need help at the last minute ... ? No problem. I'm happy to provide pet transportation, if needed. I can also help you fulfill the rules & requirements at a "Pet-Friendly" NOLa hotel, when the rules say, “you cannot leave your pet in the hotel room alone”. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant - This means your precious pet will NEVER be left alone for long hours, whenever they're in my care. I will be at your pet's side, while you take care of business or if you have a fun get-away planned. I’m very comfortable with many different animals & dog breeds, including elderly dogs that need a mellow, safe space with calm, gentle care. I pay close attention to what your dog likes & dis-likes, along with their personality quirks & individual needs. I enjoy caring for all animals, both young & old. I do not accept more than 2-3 dogs at a time. ((I USUALLY only schedule ONE family's pet(s) at the same time, especially if there’s a new dog client)). I always put in a great deal of consideration, before scheduling more than one family's pet at the same time. My home is very spacious, clean, well-organized & safe. I have a large, gated/enclosed & secure, backyard. The dogs that stay with me are ALWAYS supervised. My eyes will be on your pet constantly, while we play at your home or mine, both inside & outside. Allow me to love & care for your precious pet, while you take care of you. Let's discuss your needs. I do offer one free meet & greet. Other than dogs, I also have experience caring for: Cats, Birds, Bunnies, Turtles, Lizards, Snakes, Hamsters, Fish, Frogs, Chickens & Plants. Most of my pet guests are small, therefore any extra frisky, playful pet, over 30 pounds may cause physical harm, even if they are just playing. I'd rather not take that chance. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant. I’m rarely away from the house for more than 2-3 hours. I will always keep my eyes on your pet, even when the pet is roaming around the backyard. My backyard has a 9 ft. high, wooden fence. I also have a double gated entry, front-yard patio. I can also provide crates if needed. My 20 pound dog is 8yrs. old and he is very mellow & well behaved. He always welcomes another dog friend, anytime. We have a trusted routine for introducing new pet guests.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, so I’m very familiar with all the ups and downs that come with pet care. On top of that, I have experience working as a veterinary assistant where I was in charge of boarding, walking, bathing, and cleaning after all types of animals! I currently work full-time Tuesday through Friday. However, I am completely free on those afternoons and from Friday afternoon through Monday. So if you need an afternoon dog walker or a sitter for a weekend get away, I’m the person for you! I am very open to caring for pets in the way that you would like me to. About: I've been caring for dogs for years, starting with pet sitting for my best friend's dogs and later helping my sister care for pets in our community. Our cats are terrified of strangers but they’ve grown to love her which has surprised us COMPLETELY. Not because of the person she is but because that’s how scared our cats are of strangers. My cats are always so, so happy when we come home (because they get to see us but more because they got to have a friend to hang out with for a few days to get away from their parents) and they’re well fed. About: Hello neighbors and fellow pet parents! My name is Allie and I am a full time night shift RN. What full time means for me: I work three 12 hour night shifts per week and on those days and for half the day after my 3rd shift I don’t offer pet sitting services because your animals deserve all the attention. It also means that I am home 4-5 days out of the week all day. I have two indoor/outdoor cats named Karma and Mo. I also have a sweet 7lb Chiweenie named Murphy. All of my animals are fixed and UTD on vaccinations. I have a large fenced in back yard that has plenty of room for more paws. My cats keep to themselves and are used to Murphy’s zoomies. Murph loves dogs and cats of all sizes as well as children (talk to me about babysitting as well). I am just looking to give Murphy some socialization and playtime with friends on my off days and have more doggos to pet 🥰 I am home during the daytime and I work 3 night shifts per week that is not a set schedule. I will update my specific availability every month. I have a large fenced in backyard and I live close to Lafreniere park for frequent walks if the weather is right. Murphy loves laying in the sun and running around with any animal that will play with him. He even befriended a neighborhood turtle. I also love the outdoors so you can expect me to sit outside and play with the dogs while enjoying the sun myself. We love outside but we are also couch potato’s on my off days! All of my pets sleep in bed with me but Murphy is also crate trained and stays in his crate when I work and is able to be crated if necessary.

About: Hey there! I’m Sarah. I'm so excited to be here on Rover! I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. My mom was a rescue manager, so naturally, her love for furbabies poured over to me, as well.  I grew up helping my mom with our furfamily, fosters, and I even went with her when she was pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors. I wanted to be as much help as I could to my mom and them. Tho my mom doesn’t pet sit anymore, she is still my go to and may come with me from time to time to help. In mentioning my mom, she drinks coffee out of a mug that reads, "I WILL SAVE THEM ALL." I love that mug! We have a furfamily of 5 dogs and 2 cats. I love them all so much and am grateful for each of them. They make me smile from ear to ear on a daily basis. I also work full-time 3 to 1130 Thursday-Monsay. I could work on my off days, which is Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but that has to be midday visits/walks Available Thursday-Monday 7 AM to 3 PM. Of note, I will always do my very best to give plenty of notice for days I will not be available (ie. Holidays and personal time off, etc.). I offer drop-in services only. I am excited to have this opportunity to be there for you. I understand how important it is to be able to trust who takes care of your furbabies. I will indeed take care of your furbabies as if they were a part of my family.

Prior to leaving town I confirmed detail with Ashley, and she was very responsive. Out the five days that we were gone Ashley provided us detailed notes and photographs, both me, and my children enjoyed reading through, of everything our pup was doing while we were gone. She also was very transparent in regards to questions she may have had and made the entire process of hiring someone through Rover so comfortable. I work Monday-Friday 9-5, and am available anytime before/after those hours, for walking, feeding, house sitting, etc. I’ve been dog sitting for 12 years, 6 of which have been through Rover. I have years of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I also have experience with disabled dogs and dogs that require medications. I can handle any breed and even the pickiest breeds trust me with ease. I have all of the patience necessary to care for your precious fur babies! About: I grew up with all different kinds of dogs! I have a biggg soft spot for senior pups, as their powdered sugar faces make them the sweetest :) I am a full time student at LSU currently, however I have quite large gaps in my schedule! I am free between 12:00-1:30 for lunchtime potty breaks and am done by 3:30 most days! I give both my and my clients animals all of the love I can! I make sure to address expectations before hand to ensure I know what needs to be taken care of!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs/cats of all kinds for 6 years now. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and extend love to their pets. I enjoy meeting new pets and adapting to their needs. I work a full time job myself but adjust so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I know how important it is to show care and love to all pets any time of the day! I have a fenced yard and one dog that’s not even close to harmful. I also have two cats that live a life of their own and cause no bother to anyone. Anything that is requested can certainly be met.

About: At tia ale's house , your fur baby is not an animal or pet. They are part of our family... not only will they be loved and cherished (that is a given) but also we will try to enrich their curiosity and animal nature!! (depending on their breed & preferences) fetch, walks, bubbles, and sniffing activities will be part of our day! as well as snacks and fresh ice cold water. Your fur baby will have a vacation away from home at Tia ale's house. I have plenty of time for their care, entertainment since I’m home 24/7. We would get up early in the morning and exercise then mind stimulation during the afternoon. Bed time would be from 7-9 pm depending on how tired your fur baby is. I have a fenced yard, and cameras around the house. We also have a nice backyard that gets sprayed every 3 months for fleas and bugs.

About: Nothing, I'm just a regular guy that dogs&cats know is a great person. I give off good vibes only. This is an opportunity to learn about pets in general and meet new people. Open to negotiation on a price we both can agree on. If you're a fan of anime, I'm your guy. Easily. I've fallen on hard times and am learning new skills currently. Which makes me available all the time. All day every day. Always available essentially. I like to be secure. Always lock the door before leaving the house. I’m a 2nd black belt in Taekwondo, blue belt in BJJ, and have practiced Muay Thai and Judo, and am a decorated wrestler. If it's a big dog I am sitting and anything happens we will become a tag team in perfect sync. The 2nd thing is organization and cleanliness. I despise clutter, hate leaving a mess. My greatest offer is security when I watch your pets and your home.
