Dog Sitting in Jefferson

About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

About: Foster dog mom and dog sitter. Recently lost my beagle and miss pup time. I treat my friend’s dogs like my own and they actually encouraged me to start a profile. I like walking and don’t mind slow sniffers. I’m aware of squirrels and cats in my neighborhood and avoid them when necessary. I work full time but have availability evenings and weekends. Looking forward to long walks, tails wagging while sniffing and again meeting daily step goals. I have a small backyard and shotgun house which I own. I can crate if necessary but if your fur baby is trustworthy, I’m happy to let him or her free range guard my house during the day. The window facing the street is typically pretty entertaining. I got rid of my dog camera when Maggie passed away but may set an iPad up, again. Meet n Greets prior to a stay is a must, my foster dog is dog-shy at first but loves people.

“We can't say enough good things about Nycole. Our diabetic, kidney-compromised, 15 year old cat, Wylean, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, has been on a feeding tube since early November with a whole litany of medications. Nycole, a skilled and longterm vet tech, was able to give truly incredible, exhaustive care to Wylean for days, both during this latest stay to see my parents (my dad was and still is in the hospital for a broken hip) and during Christmas (to see my mother-in-law in hospice). Her three times a day updates were like something a seasoned vet would make, and Wylean was markedly better when we returned than when we left. She has gained the better part of a pound over the last month, and I credit Nycole for at least part of that. We will always be grateful. If we could leave one hundred stars, we would. A combination of empathy, high skill, talent, and an obvious, deep love for animals makes Nycole the best. Anyone hiring her is lucky, and we only hope we can hire her again for future trips. About: I’ve always lived with dogs! Growing up, I was constantly tagged to care for neighbor’s pets while they were out of town. Even now, my friends and their parents know I’m the first one willing to step up and petsit. I have basic experience with leash training young dogs, as well as encouraging stiff seniors to get some exercise. I work full time during the weekdays, but I’m available most evenings and excited to get out of the house. My weekends are almost always open to spend time with your dog! Pet safety is my top priority. I never walk dogs along busy streets, or where there isn’t enough shoulder to feel safe. I also do not allow my dogs to interact with others on leash, since this can be unpredictable. I’m not afraid to cross the street (safely!) to avoid a meeting.

About: I have owned many dogs of different sizes, ages, and breeds. I have a lot of experience with miniature dachshunds, but I have also cared for many rescued dogs of different breeds and sizes. I also have multiple years of experience with senior dog care. I have been a trusted dog sitter off and on for friends and family over the last decade. I am an Emergency Room Nurse. I currently work part-time, which looks like one shift per week. I am free most days of the week. I am a single female with no kids. I have one dog of my own. I have personally cared for small and large dogs as well as dogs that live only outdoors or only indoors. I understand that each pet has different needs, and every home looks different. I am happy to walk pets any time they need, give out meds, cuddle inside or play tug of war in the yard. I’m happily adaptable to what they need and want with your prior approval of activities.

About: I have been caring for pets for most of my life. I have 2 cats, Blue and Teigen, who are about 10 years old. They are my children! I have more experience caring for cats than I do dogs. But I love to hang out with dogs and get a day of running around in, which we both need💞 I work from home part time- so aside from caring for my own 2 cats, I have full availability to take care of your babies. About: We are a small family with a super friendly lab-hound mix named Charlie. Charlie loves to play with other dogs and is generous with his space and toys. Our six-year-old daughter loves meeting new animals, too. Our home is fenced all around so the dogs have a circle run as well as the backyard and front porch to play and relax. We travel and have used Rover for our dog and we’re happy to be on the other side hosting and caring for your pet. I have volunteer experience with multiple animal shelters and experience caring for both healthy pets and animals with special needs. The other side of our double shotgun is currently unoccupied so we have additional space to separate dogs if need be.
