Julia is the absolute best! With very short notice, she was willing to take in my dog for a medical emergency and cared for her with above and beyond being an understatement. I recommend her for the care of your dogs. She sends photos, gives updates, asks questions, and truly loves them! Such a terrific person all around.
I really appreciate Julia for stepping up at the last minute to sit with my pups. She was a great communicator and sent lots of pictures.

Planning
I'm new-ish to Rover, but have always centered my schedule around my dogs for as long as I've had them (since 2016 with my current babies and since I was seven with my childhood dog) 😊 I work from home and prioritize the dogs eating, going outside, exercising, resting, and everything else!

I have a very large fenced yard suitable for everything from sniff breaks to playing fetch. I have a 10-year-old Black Lab and a five-year-old small Blue Heeler who get along with all of their furry friends and love making new ones. I let the dogs on the furniture but can also set up a calm and secluded space (small and/or large crate included in care) if needed.

I take my dogs on walks every morning but also throughout the day as needed and weather permitting (rain, heat, etc. is all factored into the daily schedule). The backyard is big and beautiful for those doggies less inclined to walk with us, but may prefer to play fetch or relax outside.
