I work from home which gives me huge flexibility for dog-sitting. I do travel a fair amount for my job, but I usually know well in advance and can update my calendar accordingly. I used to teach, but now working from home lets me hang out with pups even more often!

First step is building trust. I want your pet(s) to feel comfortable around me, and part of that is gauging how they behave around me. If they want love and attention, I'm more than happy to give it! If they need more time and distance, that's okay too. I'm someone who wants to make sure that you AND your pet are happy, so whatever you need me to do is what I'll do. Lots of play? Can do! Frequent walks or bathroom breaks? Not a problem! Just hang out so they're not alone? Absolutely. And I want you to feel confident that your pets are in good hands, so I'm always happy to send check-in pictures if desired.

Mostly I want to know if your dog needs any specific medications and any details with that. If your pup doesn't like other dogs, I'm happy to keep them as far as I can from others.
A typical day
If there were an Olympic event for pet snuggling, I would win gold. Tug of war, tossing a tennis ball, hide and seek... Whatever your pup needs, I can do it. I'm always happy to find a good park to walk your dogs in if that'll make them happy! If a good backyard sniff and a sunbathe is preferred, I'm happy to do that as well!

My family got our first dog when I was 9 years old. Since then, I don't think I've ever not had pets in my life. I've had dogs, cats, and bearded dragons. I come from a long line of animal lovers, and I consider my pets to be part of the family - so they live good and happy lives. I've also had family and friends rely on me many times to take care of their pets while they were out of town.
