About: I've loved dogs my entire life and have over 2 years of hands-on experience working at Camp Bow Wow, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included supervising playgroups, feeding, administering basic care, monitoring behavior, and ensuring every dog stayed safe and happy. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets for years, and I treat every dog like they're my own. Whether your pup needs a walk, playtime, overnight care, or just some extra attention while you're away, I'll provide dependable care and plenty of updates for your peace of mind. I work remotely from home, which gives me a flexible schedule for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the day. I'm available before work, during lunch breaks, after work, and often have flexibility for midday visits as well. Because I work from a laptop, I can provide consistent care and attention while helping your pets maintain their normal routine. Whether your dog needs a walk, potty break, feeding, playtime, or companionship while you're away, I'm happy to help. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. With over 2 years of professional experience caring for dogs at Camp Bow Wow, I'm comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, energy levels, and personalities. When caring for pets in your home, I follow all instructions closely, maintain your pet's normal routine, ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, and provide regular updates and photos so you know your pet is doing well. About: I have been around all kinds of animals my whole life. Aside from raising and training my own dogs, I helped raise and train service dogs for over three years. These dogs have gone onto incredible careers helping others all over the country! I would love to help you and your furry friend :) I am a recent Tulane graduate! Currently working while I apply to PhD programs. Very flexible with reliable transportation around New Orleans. Located in Irish channel area. I have spent over 10 years caring for animals. In addition to my experience training service dogs, my mother has her own dog walking business which I assist with whenever I am home.

About: We would love to take care of your dog(s) while you are out. We have many years of experience handling dogs. I grew up having dogs and have had dogs on and off during my adulthood. We are a family who love pets and we also have had chickens in the past. We currently have an older dog Charm. She is a rescue dog who is a Shih-Tzu/Maltese mix who gets along with other dogs. We will take great care of your dog(s), so you can enjoy your time away without having to worry. I’ll be able to accommodate you with any special instructions. My 13 yr old will also be helping me since the earnings will be going towards her college funds. She has experience with dogs since Charm is hers and she has been taking care of her since she was five years old. She has looked after friend and family dogs and she loves and enjoys looking after them. I do ask that if your pet is boarding with us that they are up to date on all of their vaccines for the safety of both of our pets, potty trained, and does not chew on things. When we have pets in the house someone will always be there. Currently we are available to do Drop-ins visits and walk the dogs weekdays and weekends. We have a fenced yard, but we also take the dogs for walks and the dogs will always be supervised. When doing Drop-in Visits in your home and I am big on respecting your space in the same way that I would want someone to respect my space. I like to create an atmosphere of trust with both your furbabies and your home.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

I have hands-on experience caring for 8 animals of my own, including managing daily feeding, exercise, medication, grooming, and providing lots of love and attention. Being in vet tech school has given me knowledge about animal behavior, health, safety, and recognizing when pets may need extra care. So I'm an empty nester looking to love on your pets until I'm ready to get one of my own again. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and even some special needs. I work from home in a sizable house on a flat topped mountain. I already take 1-2 walks during my workday to stretch my legs. Other than that, I'm a huge homebody. I’m currently living up on a mesa in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of room to run and chill. The space is not fenced so I can keep pups on leash, if needed.

My dogs follow me around the house and if they are not allow in a room they sit right by the door watching me. If your baby is not spoil by you may come back spoil by us unless you. We love to hold and rub on them. Your babies would love running around in my big fenced in yard. I will treat your babies like my own, my friends and my kids friends always call me to watch their babies. They return clean and safe. I will make sure they go outside and eat in a timely matter. If it okay with you we will take walks and rides. I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to spoil,love-on,walk and play with your furbaby. If approve Dogs will go on rides. I have a fenced in yard, that will keep your dog safe. When walking all dogs will be on a leash and away from items that may harm them.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 6 years old. I currently have 3 dogs, a cat, and a chinchilla in my family that I care for. I absolutely adore all animals. I work for a nature institute and have a lot of experience meeting the needs of and caring for a variety of animals. I can care for dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, and birds. About: My family rescued our first dog, April from the local dive bar when I was six years old. According to the vet, April was just two weeks. She had been separated from her mother at birth and hadn’t even opened her eyes yet. My parents worried she'd be too much trouble. I begged to keep her and promised I'd take care of her. April became my sister, my best friend, and my greatest teacher. I fed April from a bottle, taught her how to walk up the stairs, and took her to puppy training classes. April taught me the practice of presence, and the value of unconditional love. Our time spent together makes up some of my most cherished childhood memories. At the age of 13, pet-sitting became my first job. I loved it so much, I didn’t even understand how it could be considered a job. I took care of the animals, and the animals took care of me. In my decade+ of pet-sitting, I’ve worked with a range of breeds, ages, and temperaments. Walking 100lb. pitbulls with fear aggression. Administering medication to seniors. Feeding finicky rescued stray cats. I even fostered and re-homed an abandoned puppy that found me on the beaches of Costa Rica. I can confidently claim that I’ve never once had an animal “reject” me as their caretaker, and I think that says a lot. In the last 6 years, I’ve been living and traveling as a digital nomad. My lifestyle doesn’t currently allow for a pet of my own, so pet-sitting is a blessing that allows me the opportunity to care for pets as if they were my own. I work part-time as a meditation & yoga teacher, and part-time remote as an event organizer. This lifestyle allows me to be very flexible in taking on pet-sitting and house-sitting opportunities. I can build most of my work day around your pets schedule (and I'm more than happy to do so!) I offer long-term and short-term visits and overnight stays to take care of your pets in their own home. I've found that, for most pets, being in the security and routine of their own environment is the best way for them to cope with their owners temporary absence. I make sure to upkeep your pet's sense of "normalcy" to the best of my ability by feeding and walking them at regular intervals, being an active participant in play time (when desired), giving them snuggles (when desired), and just keeping them company! I make sure to upkeep YOUR sense of "normalcy" by respecting your space, keeping it as clean and organized as when I arrive (if not even more so), and following any & all house rules. In addition to overnights, I LOVE to take on daily walks and wellness checks when you're at work or just too busy to do it all on your own!

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: I have a calm demeanor that appeals to all sorts of animal personalities. In the past i’ve volunteered with Zues' Rescue and I’m generally the go to pet care friend :) I’m a school counselor, so during the school year I am available after school and on weekends. During the summer, I am available 24/7. I can make exceptions if I am on PTO, holidays, etc. I make sure to observe an animals natural routine. Where they like their toys to be, their food dishes, etc. I am especially understanding of animals who may have experienced trauma and have triggers; I make sure to meet them at their level when I approach, speak quietly, etc.

About: I’ve been a dog owner and lover for 20 years. In that time I’ve trained puppies, watched and cared for my own pets as well as friends and loved ones. I have also owned and watched cats on multiple occasions (fun fact my first pet was a tabby cat!) As a home chef, I’ve even crafted specialized fresh meals for pets who love soft food. Know that your pet will be treated with upmost care and love, with lots of pictures and videos to show that your babies are top priority with me! I currently work from home which helps give me the time to spend time with the pups and cats during the weekdays. (My own dogs love to sit with me and on my lap in the home office while I work.) I love to make sure pets feel just as much love and care as they would with you. We will play, have treats, top notch cuddles and belly rubs and of course send you multiple updates with pictures and videos throughout the total visit. Lots of high energy play time for active pets, and more personalized cuddle time for senior and anxious pets.
