“Faith was great with my four cats! Even the one who hides all the time she made sure he had his food. Twice a day feedings and litter maintenance. Will for sure request her again!”

“She gave great updates and pictures of both my cat and dog. You could tell she really enjoyed being with them and they loved having her come and play. I will be recommending her to all my friends and use her again!”

About: Always grew up with dogs I always ended up being the one to properly take care of them, transitioned into a cat guy in adulthood. I’m new to doing this professionally but have sat dogs and cats for friends and family for years I work evenings as a tour guide where my hours are typically 4pm-10pm, so my days are open and if needed your pets won’t go long without care. I’m a respectful houseguest and a patient caretaker. Mama always said “Leave it better than you found it”. Whatever your pet needs I can handle, from basic needs to whatever weird quirks they have
“Mindy took care of our Fur babies which are 3 great kids at heart but wonderful to be with. She kept us informed and when asked , sent us pics to make us feel less guilty about leaving them home. We would recommend her to anyone.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with a wide range of personalities, from high-energy dogs to more sensitive or anxious ones. I’m especially attentive to a dog’s emotional needs and body language, and I prioritize making them feel safe, calm, and understood in their environment. I have hands-on experience with crate training, building positive associations, and helping dogs develop confidence when left alone. I’m patient, consistent, and gentle in my approach, and I tailor care to each dog rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company, I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to create a calm, secure experience for them while you’re away. I occasionally bring my well-socialized dog with me for longer stays, but only with prior approval and proper introductions. I currently have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I structure my days around walks, play, and downtime, and I’m mindful of keeping routines consistent so pets feel secure. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and extended care on both weekdays and weekends, and I prioritize being present rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. I provide a calm, structured, and attentive environment where your pet’s safety and comfort are the top priority. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and individual needs, and I adjust my approach to help each dog feel secure and understood. I’m experienced with crate use, positive reinforcement, and helping dogs settle in new environments. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and take care to avoid overwhelming situations, especially for more sensitive or anxious dogs. In your home or mine, I maintain a clean, predictable space and ensure pets are supervised, exercised appropriately, and never left in situations where they could feel unsafe or stressed.
About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
“Abby is amazing! She was quick to communicate, great about a little meet and greet before watching my pups. The boys love her and she followed all my instructions perfectly.”

“Alyce was phenomenal! 10/10! I went out of town for the weekend for a wedding and knew my Princey was in the best care. She gave me updates for each walk and house sit that included the sweetest pictures. My dog has a fear of loud noises, separation anxiety, and is older so can be a grumpy old man but he loved her welcoming, calm energy and she catered to his needs beatutifully. Would absolutely recommend her and will be using her again in the future!”

About: I am a veterinary technician employed at one of the top veterinary clinics in New Orleans, where I work hands-on with animals every day. My experience includes caring for bottle-fed neonates, geriatric pets, diabetic pets requiring insulin administration, post-surgical patients, and pets with special medical needs. In addition to my veterinary background, I am the owner of Pup-A-Dub Spa & Boarding, a cage-free grooming and boarding salon located in Arabi, Louisiana. I specialize in one-on-one, attentive care and understand how important it is to treat every pet as an individual. Whether your baby needs medical monitoring, extra patience, or just loves being spoiled, they will be in knowledgeable, capable hands with me. Working part time leaves me plenty of time to care for fur babies. I’m available for boarding throughout the week. Also available for early morning and afternoon walks. With a fenced in backyard your fur babies get a chance to play with my supervision. Upon your request cage kenneling is available if needed.
About: I have had multiple animals my whole life and taken care of all kinds of pets since I was 15 years old. I have helped neighbors and friends care for their pets while they were away or simply busy with life. I work a part-time job, and have flexible hours and plenty of time to care for any and all pets. I love going for morning or evening walks, but I am here to suit your pets needs. When sitting or walking a pet in a clients home I try to treat the session the way I would want it to go as a pet owner. I am respectful of their property and animal, while making sure their pet is taken care of the way I would take care of my own.
About: I previously dog sat over the weekend with my sister using Rover. I loved the experience and am eagerly awaiting to meet new pets! I have pet sat both dogs and cats for friends over the years. Feeding them, taking them on walks, and generally socializing with them while their owner is away for work or vacation. I have free roam rabbit and have taken care of various small animals since I was young. I am always patient and gentle with animals, and love giving pets and cuddles when accepted by the animal. I recently moved back to New Orleans and currently do not have a regular job. I have completely open availability to meet pets in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I allow pets time and space to get to know me. This includes sitting the room together, speaking softly, and holding out my hand for sniffing. I am attentive to the pets boundaries and needs to provide the best care possible.

About: I’m a professional dog trainer with over 15 years of experience working with dogs of all temperaments, including those with behavioral challenges and basic obedience needs. What truly sets me apart is the level of structure, understanding, and care I bring to every dog—this isn’t just pet sitting, it’s a safe, enriching environment tailored to each individual dog. My partner and I specialize in a wide range of care, including puppies, senior dogs, high-energy breeds, anxious dogs, and even medical boarding.
