I have years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, including regular and extended care while their families travel. And please, give me ALL the instructions! You can leave me a legitimate PowerPoint presentation about your baby, and I will happily follow it to a T. 😂 I know every pet has their own routine, favorite things, quirks, boundaries, and very specific ways they like things done. (I’m a Virgo, so I know meticulous details. 😂) I’d much rather know every little detail so I can keep their world as familiar and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I will also send you pictures and updates to provide you with peace of mind. I’m patient with shy or cautious animals, attentive to changes in behavior, and happy to adapt to different personalities, ages, and energy levels. Whether your baby needs long walks and playtime, is a workout nut (to keep me in shape, too 😂), needs extra attention, wants a cuddle buddy, or needs someone who understands that affection happens strictly on THEIR terms, I’ll follow their lead. Since my schedule has flexibility, I’m happy to spend quality time with your babies rather than rushing in and out. 🐾❤️ When caring for pets in my home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, walks, exercise, litter care, playtime, bedtime routines, and all of those little details that make your baby feel safe and at home. We spend most of the day together, so they are not alone for long periods of time if I have to run off to check on another baby. I’m happy to stay overnight and spend quality time with your pets rather than simply popping in and out if you prefer. I’ll give them the level of attention and affection THEY are comfortable with, whether that means lots of cuddles and companionship, plenty of activity, or giving a shy kitty their space until they decide I’ve earned their approval. 😂 I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to give mine. About: I’m lucky to come from an animal family. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life - big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, lap cats, moody cats - I’ve loved them all. Recently, my two children and I found ourselves pet free for the first time. I miss having my own full-time furry companion but I also travel regularly for work. I decided to take this opportunity to open my home & heart to your pets. For me and my children, this is a win / win situation. We love caring for animals and we love the joy they bring to our home. We live in a cozy house in mid-city with a fully fenced in yard for dogs who wants to run and sniff and explore. My children, aged 8 & 4, have grown up with pets their whole lives and love participating in the day to day care. They are gentle and know how to approach and interact with animals of all ages and sizes. We’ve hosted dogs and cats in our home and we truly love doing so. I am active and will take your dog for as many walks and/or jogs as they desire. I also have a fenced in yard for those who want to roam and sniff around. I work from home so your pet will have company all day and rarely be left alone. I am available for on-demand walks, scratches and cuddles. I have experience administering medication to both dogs and cats. Before hosting or caring for any pet, I'm happy to meet with you to get to know your unique pet’s needs and temperament. I work from home so I am almost always around to provide on-demand cuddles, scratches, and walks for pets who are staying with us in our home. When caring for your pets in your home, my schedule means I have a lot of flexibility to work around your pet’s unique routine and needs. As a remote worker, I can work from anywhere and can provide extra love, support, and company for pets when their family is out of town. My home is quiet and comfortable with a fully fenced in back yard for dogs who want to run or sniff or feel the sun on their skin. My day to day routine is pretty quiet during this chapter of my life and I enjoy the loving & peaceful company of pets.

Andrea and Oscar did a wonderful job! They ensured that my dogs received all their food, snacks, and treats on their regular schedules. They sent a ton of pictures and videos showing how much fun my dogs were having staying with them, whether playing, exploring, or napping on various beds and blankets. Andrea and Oscar's dogs were incredibly friendly: my dogs played all weekend with them. This meant they got lots of exercise and lots of good rest! Lucy and Grizzy are coming back home having learned some Spanish, so I need to practice "vamos" and "comida" at home. It can be really stressful to travel, but I know the next time I leave town, Lucy and Grizzy will have the absolute best time staying with Andrea and Oscar. Will book again!
