“Nicole was amazing!! She allowed me to come the day before to meet her. I had only dropped my dog off for a couple hours prior to this once before so I was very nervous and hesitant but she was extremely nice and reassured me my dog would be taking care of. What I loved immediately was her living room literally had little doggy beds and tons of doggy toys everywhere so that told me that she really loves her dogs and others. Throughout the entire 3 days stay she sent me multiple updates, pictures and videos which allowed me to see how happy my dog was. I definitely would recommend her and even though I'm from out of state when I do come back to visit if I need a doggy babysitter she will be my number one choice.”

“Rachel and Mike have taken great care of Leo and Ellie both times they’ve had them! We’re so happy we’ve found someone who we know they’re in good in hands with!”

“Roxanne was great and our boys had a great time. They slept on the ride home which is always a sign of a good stay. We will be using her again.”

“Chayanne was amazing! Huey who is normally very shy, instantly felt at home. He had a nice relaxing weekend napping with Missy. Will definitely use again!”

“Ms Evlin was veryyy attentive to our fur baby. She kept us updated with photos daily; throughout the day. Her communication was great 😊 we’re very excited and pleased to know we have someone who cares for our fur baby as much as we do. Thank youuuuu again and again Ms Evlin. You’re PAWSOME 🐾”

“Natalie took great care of our dog Taz and provided lots of updates. I could tell in the pictures that Taz was so happy and it was a relief that he was in good hands. Thank you Natalie, you’re a life saver!”

“Natasha was great! Easy and fast communication, lots of pictures of a happy dog when we were out of town. When our flights got delayed coming home, she was able to watch our dog for an unexpected additional half day, no problem. Would definitely recommend booking with Natasha as a dog sitter!”
“Great experience! Our dog was so well taken care of, and it was obvious she got lots of love and attention. I really appreciated the updates and pictures while I was away, and even got a sweet report card! I came back to a happy pup, and we’ll definitely be using her again!!”

“Jessica was amazing! Our pup is an 8 month old ball of energy and she handled him well! Lots of walks, play time, new games, and even a bath! She updated me with pictures and details of what he was doing, I don't think he even wanted to come back to me 🤣 We will absolutely be re booking with her and can feel completely stress free knowing he's in such good and loving hands”

“Stacey was amazing. I had been feeling back that I had to leave my dog for his birthday, and she made me feel 100x better when she sent a full on birthday photo shoot. The fact that he sat for these pictures automatically assured me that she’s a dog whisperer. Lol. She kept me up to date on him as well. Kingston came back just as he left and seemingly sad to leave the fun. He was exhausted from what seems like lots of play time. A big deal for me is that Kingston came back smelling normal or refreshed and she said she had brushed his hair out. I have experienced sitters in the past where he comes back and I’m like what the heck is that smell? Needless to say I will definitely be using Stacey again in the future!”

“Anna was wonderfull host! She kept in touch throughout Archie’s stay, but not too much so I was able to enjoy my vacation. I would definitely recommend you trusting Anna with your fur family.”

“I felt so safe leaving my baby with Mrs. D! She is a true animal whisperer. I know that my pup got the same love that she gives her own animals and I found that so comforting. My Santiago got plenty of exercise and I got pictures and videos sent to me while I was working. I will definitely leave my baby with her again in the future. Thank you again 🥰”

“Cindy was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Mocha! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves animals and would treat Mocha like her own. She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which gave me total peace of mind. When I picked Mocha up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for the day — I’ll definitely be booking with Cindy again!”

“Awesome. We love sending our dog to stay with Erin and Robin, because we know that she is safe and happy the whole time. They have an amazing property that any dog would enjoy--a big lawn, woods, even a stream to play in. These ladies are our FIRST choice, every single time we need doggy care.”

About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.
“I cannot recommend Elizabeth enough! While visiting New Orleans, I had to fly to Los Angeles for 4 days and needed a trustworthy dog sitter. Elizabeth’s reviews stood out, and after our meet and greet, I knew I had found the right person. She asked thoughtful questions and was so attentive to my pup’s needs, ensuring his best interests were top of mind. Her communication while I was away was excellent—she sent frequent video and photo updates, which put me completely at ease. I wish I lived in the area because I would definitely be a repeat client. Highly recommend!”

Cheyenne was fabulous with Jax! Very responsive to communication, flexible, and reliable! Although it was a short notice booking she made me feel very comfortable in leaving him with her for three nights. She sent pictures throughout and updates on their activities each day. Definitely recommend and would use again!

Great experience! Our dog was so well taken care of, and it was obvious she got lots of love and attention. I really appreciated the updates and pictures while I was away, and even got a sweet report card! I came back to a happy pup, and we’ll definitely be using her again!!

Brittany was yet again magnificent - and that was no short feat given my dog’s needs this trip. My senior dog has had some aging health issues lately that flared up in a never before seen way during this sitting session. Brittany kept me totally in the loop, dealt with the insanity with deep care, and problem solved to get to a place where my pup was able to be so incredibly comfortable for the majority. A million thanks wouldn’t be enough.

Amazing first Rover experience with Natasha! She met us and our Sadie Bug first on a virtual meet and greet, which we really appreciated. She accommodated us with drop off and pick up times that worked for my husband, as I was already in another state. She sent pictures and text messages to keep us informed and let us see that Sadie Bug was doing well. When my was loading Sadie’s belongings into the car at pickup, Sadie was happy in Natasha’s arms. That told me everything! 100% recommend this wonderful person! ❤️

Lorynn was wonderful with Pistachio! She was very accommodating, communicative, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She sent regular photos and updates throughout the stay, which I really appreciated. Pistachio was well cared for and seemed happy and comfortable the entire time. I would absolutely book with Lorynn again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
