Jan was absolutely fantastic. I have a very unique pack of working and primitive breed dogs, and they definitely aren't the easiest group to care for. After just one meet-and-greet, Jan understood their personalities and made both me and my dogs feel completely at ease. What really impressed me was that he confidently took them on walks,...something that very few Rover sitters I've worked with have been comfortable doing. He handled each dog's quirks with patience, confidence, and a calm demeanor that my dogs responded to immediately. It's rare to find someone who truly understands working breeds and dogs with unique personalities, but Jan absolutely does. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, especially if you have high-energy, independent, or quirky dogs that need someone experienced and confident. I'll definitely be booking with him again.
Highly recommend Cortney for any drop-in needs! She checked in on our kitten while we were out of town over three days, and did a wonderful job keeping us updated, sharing pictures, etc. She is a great communicator, trustworthy, and very thoughtful in her messages. Gerome's natural ability to commune with animals was present during both drop off and pick up of my cat. I returned to find my selective/discerning sweet pea snuggled up with her pet sitter in a relaxed and trusting pose. She did not want to come back with me!
