“Caitlin was so great! She was flexible and responsive leading up to the visit and sent me lots of pictures of my furry boy during her drop in. I can tell she did more than just refill the food bowl and clean the litter box— she spent some time giving my cat some much-needed attention and making him feel loved while I was gone. What more could I ask for? :)”

“we love lindsey! she takes care of my fur babies so kindly. she sends pictures so you can see your little one is loving life which makes my day to see. i’d say book her up for everything, but not too much because margaritas and peaches need her attention and love just as well! 🤗”

“Ebony is awesome! So grateful she was able to care for our boy while we're away. Ebony was flexible and able to accommodate our last minute request and changes in our travel. I will definitely book Ebony again.”

About: Hi! I’ve spent the last 11 years as a Paramedic and, while I love helping people…I love helping animals too! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a deep passion for caring for pets of all kinds. Ever since I was a child, animals have been a central part of my life. My family often took in dogs and cats in need, and I even bottle-fed orphaned puppies and kittens many times, helping them grow strong and healthy. Those early experiences shaped my calm, patient, and nurturing approach to animal care. Being a Paramedic has taught me how to remain calm under pressure. Also, that no one person is the same and will respond the same. Every person is unique. I believe animals are the exact same way! I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood—especially while their family is away. Whether your pet(s) are energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or somewhere in between, I take the time to understand their unique personality and adjust my care to meet their needs. From walks and playtime to quiet companionship and cuddles, I’m here to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m dependable, attentive, and highly communicative. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a beloved family member, so I always prioritize reliability, punctuality, and clear updates. I’m happy to send photos/videos, and messages so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. We can even FaceTime! Although I’m currently unable to have pets of my own where I live, that has only deepened my appreciation for every opportunity I get to spend time with animals. Caring for pets is something I truly love, and I treat every one as if they were my own. I would be honored to care for your pet and provide the same love, attention, and respect I would want for my own. 🐶😽 What I Offer: - Dog & cat walking (structured or relaxed walks based on your pet’s needs) - Drop-in visits for feeding, playtime, and companionship - Pet sitting with attentive, in-home care - Care for dogs & cats of all temperaments 💛 My Care Style: - Patient and gentle approach for all personalities - Focus on safety, comfort, and routine - Calm presence for anxious or shy pets - Active engagement for energetic pets - Always respectful of your home and instructions 📸 Communication Promise You’ll always receive: - Regular photo updates - Clear check-ins after visits - Fast responses to messages - Honest communication about your pet’s well-being 🌟 Why Pet Parents Choose Me: I don’t just “watch” pets—I genuinely care for them. About: Thank you for considering me to care for your pets! I've shared my life with dogs and cats for more than 30 years and understand that every animal has its own personality, routine, and way of showing trust. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or quiet and independent, I'll care for them with patience, consistency, and respect. I currently share my home with my 15-year-old domestic shorthair, Meatball, who reminds me every day that pets thrive on familiar routines and attentive care. Whether I'm looking after dogs or cats, my goal is to keep their daily routine as normal and comfortable as possible while you're away. As a U.S. Air Force veteran, I value reliability, attention to detail, and following through on my commitments. If you leave detailed instructions, I'll follow them carefully—from feeding schedules and medications to walks, litter box care, playtime, and household preferences. I'm comfortable caring for large dogs, puppies, multiple pets, and maintaining a calm, clean, and respectful presence in your home. I'm available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and for established clients I'm happy to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. I also have reliable transportation and would not hesitate to take your pet to an emergency veterinarian if the need ever arose. I'll provide photo and message updates as often as you prefer, so you'll always know how your pets are doing. My promise is simple: I'll treat your pets with the same kindness, patience, and attention I'd want for my own, and I'll care for your home as respectfully as if it were mine. When you return, I want you to find happy pets, a well-kept home, and complete peace of mind. I provide care exclusively in my clients' homes, including overnight stays, because I believe many pets are happiest when they can remain in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. For overnight bookings, I do ask that the home be flea-free for the comfort and well-being of everyone involved. Before each booking, I'll take the time to learn your pet's schedule, personality, feeding routine, favorite activities, medications (if applicable), and any household preferences you'd like me to follow. Every pet is unique, and I believe consistency helps reduce stress while you're away. For dogs, I'm happy to provide walks, potty breaks, playtime, fetch, tug, outdoor time, or simply a calm companion to relax with. For cats, I'll provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, play and enrichment, or quiet companionship for cats who prefer affection on their own terms. I treat every home with the same respect I would my own. I'll keep things clean and organized, bring in mail, water plants, or handle other agreed-upon household tasks, and make sure everything is in order when you return. Communication is a priority for me, so I'll send photo and message updates as often as you prefer. My goal is for you to travel with confidence, knowing your pets are receiving attentive, dependable care and that your home is in responsible hands until you return.

“Elizabeth was beyond wonderful with my puppy! He is normally has a bit of social anxiety with new people but absolutely loved Elizabeth from the start. I 100% recommend her to anyone!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life. My last pup, Pooka, died a few years ago after living around the world with me for 16 happy years. So I'm an empty nester looking to love on your pets until I'm ready to get one of my own again. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and even some special needs. I work from home in a sizable house on a flat topped mountain. I already take 1-2 walks during my workday to stretch my legs. Other than that, I'm a huge homebody. I’m currently living up on a mesa in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of room to run and chill. The space is not fenced so I can keep pups on leash, if needed.
“I messed up and left the chain hooked on the door so Jasmin couldn't get in. Fortunately, my cats had enough food and water to last until I got home. Jasmin was very kind about my mess up and still came to visit and pet the kitten through the crack in the front door!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Harvey
Jan was absolutely fantastic. I have a very unique pack of working and primitive breed dogs, and they definitely aren't the easiest group to care for. After just one meet-and-greet, Jan understood their personalities and made both me and my dogs feel completely at ease. What really impressed me was that he confidently took them on walks,...something that very few Rover sitters I've worked with have been comfortable doing. He handled each dog's quirks with patience, confidence, and a calm demeanor that my dogs responded to immediately. It's rare to find someone who truly understands working breeds and dogs with unique personalities, but Jan absolutely does. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, especially if you have high-energy, independent, or quirky dogs that need someone experienced and confident. I'll definitely be booking with him again.
Lindsey is the person you want to have taking care of your fur babies. My sister little Terriers love her. The photos and drop in information really give you peace of mind. I highly recommend meeting with Lindsey and finding out for yourself how genuine she is. 5 Stars!
Highly recommend Cortney for any drop-in needs! She checked in on our kitten while we were out of town over three days, and did a wonderful job keeping us updated, sharing pictures, etc. She is a great communicator, trustworthy, and very thoughtful in her messages. We will use her again in the future!

Sydney went above and beyond with my girls she is absolutely amazing and an all around beautiful person as well. I didn’t worry once about my girls while I was out of town for the first time ever and she went out of her way to do things that weren’t even required of her. I cannot thank her enough and am I am so lucky I found her !!! BOOK HER ASAP!!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
