About: I am a former dog foster parent, having fostered over 75 dogs from newborn to 13 years old! This includes blind, injured, and sick shelter dogs. I also trained a service-dog in training for a year. I have lots of former animal experience and I love walking. I start medical residency training next year and after I will have a furry friend to call my own, but until then, I cannot wait to treat your pet as my own! I am a 4th year medical student currently on a light rotation and with plenty of upcoming vacation time. I have lots of availability and flexibility! I live in a dog friendly apartment. I have lots of experience pet sitting and am looking forward to getting to spend time with your wonderful dog.
About: I have a calm demeanor that appeals to all sorts of animal personalities. In the past i’ve volunteered with Zues' Rescue and I’m generally the go to pet care friend :) I’m a school counselor, so during the school year I am available after school and on weekends. During the summer, I am available 24/7. I can make exceptions if I am on PTO, holidays, etc. I make sure to observe an animals natural routine. Where they like their toys to be, their food dishes, etc. I am especially understanding of animals who may have experienced trauma and have triggers; I make sure to meet them at their level when I approach, speak quietly, etc.
About: I have had my own golden retriever for the past 5 years and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I’ve also pet sat and helped care for other dogs for friends and family. I’m very attentive, patient, and make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I pay close attention to routines, energy levels, and individual needs, and I truly enjoy spending time with dogs. I’m currently a student, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive care. I’m available for walks or drop-ins at most times, just ask! I am happy to accommodate different schedules. In my home, my dog is supervised, kept in clean spaces, and given plenty of attention. I carefully follow leash guidelines and any special care needs.

About: For as long as I can remember, I have loved being around and taking care of animals. I have always grown up with cats and as a teenager in high school, volunteered at a local cat clinic in my hometown taking care of the resident kitties, as well as any patients coming in. When I moved, I decided I no longer wanted to be a veterinarian but still loved animals with all my heart. I have a rabbit as well (rover only allows for me to input dogs and cats) as well as my two cats which is why I am unable to provide care in my own apartment. My rabbit is six years old and a whopping 2lbs, but don’t worry, she’s a mini holland lop and runs the house. As of now, I help my friends when they are out of town with their animals, as it requires me to go over twice a day and do separate feedings due to dietary needs. Included photos of my animals as well as an ex-roommates (who’s cat was essentially mine), as well as other cats I have taken care of and my landlords outdoor cats who I have befriended (they have brought me gifts before (while well intentioned, it was not fun seeing a 🐀 on my porch at 8am in the NOLA heat 😭). I am currently a student at Tulane University and I work a very casual part time job that allows me with a lot of flexibility. I am done with my day usually no later than 5pm and free most weekends, with the exception of Saturdays, typically from 10am-3pm. Not applicable at this time, unable to provide the service of hosting an animal at my apartment due to lease as well as my two cats.
“This is now my second booking with Hery because I was so pleased with his service the first time. I encourage everyone to book with Hery as I will continue to do so. Thank you Hery!”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have loved working with Rover doing boarding, walking, and sitting. My fiancé and I live in a split-level home with a fenced backyard—plenty of space for playtime and lounging. We don’t have pets right now or kids, so your pup gets all the love and attention! One of us is always home (my fiancé works remotely), and we’re comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. We live in a quiet, walk-friendly neighborhood, and we love staying active with our furry guests. Your dog will be treated like family—with lots of snuggles, playtime, and regular updates for you. Can’t wait to meet your pup! I'm a grad student who's home most of the time, and my fiancé works remotely, so your pet will always have company. I provide daily walks, plenty of attention, and bathroom breaks as often as needed. Caring for animals is a top priority in our routine, and your pet will be treated like family! I believe all living things deserve kindness and respect, and I’ll go above and beyond to make sure every pet in my care feels happy and comfortable. I’m committed to following all food, medication, and routine needs exactly as requested to keep your pet feeling safe and at home—whether they're staying with me or I’m coming to you.

About: I’ve had pets (dogs and cats) for nearly my entire life! I have a genuine love for all animals and am very attentive & patient. I currently have 3 cats with 3 entirely different personalities, a sweet senior dog, and a fiesty little hamster. Tell me your needs & they shall be met! I work part-time and have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I will work with your requests and be very upfront about expectations before the scheduled visits. I am offering to come to the pet’s home and provide care for them there. Before you’re away, we will schedule a meet up to go over everything. “Caitlin was super responsive and communicative, she befriended our two cats immediately and went beyond her duties as a sitter. I would highly recommend her.”
“We had an amazing experience with Keyona caring for our three dogs while we were in Gulf Shores. One puppy was very hesitant at first, but Keyona’s calm, consistent approach had her back to her normal self—and participating with the other two—by the next day. Keyona went above and beyond with attentive updates, lots of patience, and even offered additional support tailored to our shy pup’s needs. It’s rare to find someone who cares this much. We will absolutely book with her again! Punchy highlights: Three dogs, including one very hesitant puppy—thriving by Day 1 Proactive updates, great communication, and genuine compassion Thoughtful add-on support for our shy pup’s comfort 10/10—we’ll definitely rebook Keyona!”

“He has watched my puppy twice now and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. He goes above and beyond what is requested to ensure that everything goes smoothly. He was very communicative and I look forward to continue booking with him in the future.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life and absolutely adore them. Friends and family rely on me to take care of their animals while away and I have plenty of experience feeding, walking, bathing, and playing with various types of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, horses, and birds. Currently I don’t own any pets of my own and I’m missing their company! I currently am working from home on a lenient schedule so I have plenty of time to care for your furry baby in any capacity. I am extremely respectful of personal belongings and routines if you’re in need of in home care for your animal. I love the outdoors so I’m more than willing to come scoop up your dog for a fun day outside!
“Addie is great with Willlow. Always keeping her entertained and getting any energy out of her. Also very attentive. Willow was licking her one paw and Addie let us know for us to keep watch of it.”

About: I have had cats for so many years of my life before we had a few dogs and then birds and hamster's added in to our life during the time of having multiple cats before we only just had cats once again since the year of October 2010 til now. I have had to clean up their mess from vomit to poop, pee, things they knocked over especially from playing or running too crazily around the house, etc. I have had to clip nails, give medication, help a cat survive by getting him through the "fading out" phase as a kitten and he and another kitten in the other litter were the only ones to survive from me trying to keep them alive. I work at a local arena that is right by the French Quarter area. I work in the Housekeeping Department, so my schedule can be pretty flexible because I don't work 5 or more days of the week by a rigid schedule of someone else telling me I have to come to work on. I schedule myself for when I am available to work. I usually only work around 1-4 days a week at best. Sometimes there is no event for one or two weeks because of a certain reason. • • • I am usually working early in the day by 9:00 AM til the afternoon like 3:00 / 4:00 PM. I work later events that have me showing up around 1:00 PM / 2:30 PM before the event starts til the end of the event around 9:00 PM from August during heavy amounts of events going on til April or May during slower amounts of events going on. • • • Between April / May til August, I am completely available to do anything you need for Boarding, House-Sitting, and Doggy Day Care because I don't really have anything going on except grocery / prescription runs for my mom and possibly me at another store, and with doctor's appointment for me and my mom. The only days I couldn't be available will be three days in usually July when I go out of town to Houma, LA for the days I will have blocked off on here as unavailable. • • • Once the basketball 🏀 season ends, I don't work again because it slows up very, very much until August once again. I use whatever little bit of money I saved during that time to focus on me and other things. Taking on taking care of other people's pets could be something I could consider doing on days and periods that I ain't working for my other job. I have cleaned up after my cats I currently have and dogs I used to have in the past by cleaning up their mess from vomit to poop, pee, things they knocked over from playing too crazily, etc. • • • I give them water that will last all day in case they want to drink during the day because of being in need of water or simply cooling themselves off from being hot. • • • If it's sweltering hot in the house I add ice to the water and possibly wipe them down with water on their body to lower their temperature outside. • • • I also feed them twice a day. • • • • I have had to clip nails, flea comb my cats and then place the fleas in soapy water to kill the fleas, give oral medication for dewormer and a medication to be added to food for a stool softener, and help two cats survive by getting them through the "fading out" phase as a kitten during their 1st week of life. He and another male kitten in a different litter were the only ones to survive from me trying to keep them alive. I fed them every 3 to 4 hours a day for hours on end until I went to sleep and then woke up and immediately did it all over again until they were getting to the point they didn't need me anymore. I washed the kittens down with Dawn Dish Detergent on a wet wash cloth and wiped them down when their mother wasn't taking care of them because they were getting tons of redness on their skin for their belly and legs. I also helped them to be able to start going to the bathroom in their own during the wash down with the soap and wash cloth time.
“Shannon was excellent! Very caring and attentive to my doggo. Was great having the peace of mind that my dog and home were in good hands; will book with her again and recommend her to others!”

“I needed a sitter super last minute and Grace had availability. She is super communicative and great with pets. Followed all the pet care instructions to a T. I’m a very anxious person away from my pets (who isnt) but Grace put all my anxiety to ease. The dogs loved her and I would 100% recommend her and hire her again.”

“Sarah is absolutely AMAZING!! She is so kind, attentive, caring and communicative. She took care of our pups over Christmas weekend, and we are so happy with her services. She went above and beyond to make sure our boys were happy and well cared for while we were out of town. We have one reactive pup and a senior who needs a little extra attention and Sarah beyond met our expectations in caring for them. We would highly recommend her services and will be using her again!”

“I messed up and left the chain hooked on the door so Jasmin couldn't get in. Fortunately, my cats had enough food and water to last until I got home. Jasmin was very kind about my mess up and still came to visit and pet the kitten through the crack in the front door!”

Harvey pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ashley was very professional and kept us updated every day. I appreciated the daily pictures, updates, and kind feedback, as well as her administering her insulin twice daily. I would definitely want Ashley to sit for us the next time we have to go out of town.

Enjoying our vacation was easy knowing our baby was in the very capable hands of Camille! She goes above and beyond to make sure our finicky kitty is comfortable, happy, & well taken care of. She’s incredibly professional & the communication is top tier, which is just what we look for in a pet sitter. Our baby boy isn’t always the sweetest to strangers, so we were elated to see how well he got along with Camille. She has a way with animals. We travel often and haven’t lived in the area for long, so we didn’t have any other option than Rover. Our first booking was scary, but we got sooo lucky with Camille. We still feel guilty having to leave behind our baby, but knowing he’s in more than capable hands takes away some of that stress. I would give you 10 stars if I could!

Sarah was so good with our cats. She jumped in to help us out last minute. We have three young cats, one of which is really shy but he came out for her during her visits which is always a relief. She’s very friendly and professional, and our cats liked her! We were very pleased with her service. ♥️
