Growing up, we had quite a pet menagerie that included everything but dogs and cats, so my sitting experience made up for it. With well over a decade of experience house and pet minding, I’ve worked with a wide range of species of all ages, sizes, temperaments and health restrictions-which includes administering medication like insulin injections. So, you can breathe easy! If your pet needs a cardio companion, I’m capable and excited to help with anything from strolls around the neighborhood at a leisurely pace to even becoming a running partner! Be it check-ins, feedings, walks or overnight assistance, I’m your helper and can work at your pet’s pace, respecting the rules of your house and including them in my own. It’s important to me that we do a meet and greet beforehand, with a few urgent last minute requests as exception, just to asses and establish your pet’s comfort level, pace of trust and sense of security. Also, scheduling a meet and greet helps me to maintain the training and rules of the house. With urgent requests, that is a little harder, but having as much detail as possible on your animals behavior, would be beneficial. Like, are they scared of certain sounds, objects like skateboards/scooters? Are there areas in the neighborhood they get anxiety or worked up about, that I should redirect from?

I trust Daphne so much with my pups. The girls love her and we use her over and over when I have to travel. Dixie now has a medical condition and needs a little more tlc with meds and such - Daphne so mindful and considerate to accommodate however needed to make her comfortable. Can’t recommend her enough.

Daphne was wonderful, and I highly recommend her! She provided detailed updates and lots of photos. Before the drop-ins even started, Daphne took the time to meet me and my cat, Leo, and asked lots of great questions to get to know him and his routine. She was also able to add an extra day at the last minute, which I really appreciated! Leo was in great hands!
Daphe was great as usual! We feel very comfortable leaving her with our two boys. She does a great job balancing the energy of our senior dog and more energetic dog.
Daphne has cared for my 18 year old cat who is on several medications several times. She spends time with her just letting her sit on her lap. I always feel that she is responsible, compassionate, and I do not have any anxieties about leaving her in such capable hands.
Daphne is super attentive and really cares about the pets she watches! She left detailed notes and pictures for me while I was out of the country, and I felt peace of mind knowing my cat was well taken care of. Daphne went above and beyond vacuuming cat litter, watering my plants, etc. and it was so nice to feel like my pet and apartment were in great hands for two weeks while I was gone.

Schedule
I am working remotely, so I’m very flexible and available to assist with maintaining your pet’s schedule. I’m normally an early morning riser, which I’ve found helpful to leaving my schedule open and avoiding more of the peak heat times and crowds with anxious pets.
