The Dog House
I am the proud mom of an 11 year old weenie dog. He is older but still likes to play. He is great with other dogs because at one time he lived with rescue dogs before moving to New Orleans. My schedule is flexible and so I can spend lots of time with your pet. I have a tiny backyard that dogs love to sniff in. If you have your pet stay with me I promise to treat them like one of my own.

THE BEST! Shannon is a wonderful, warm, kind, dog-whispering gem! Our very first booking request was for Shannon to care for my senior Goldendoodle for two weeks while I traveled abroad. After our first meeting, I was confident Dixie would be in great hands. Not only did Shannon administer Dixie’s medications and look out for mobility issues, but Shannon also made her feel extra comfy, cozy, and loved in her own home. Lots of photos and sweet updates gave me extra peace of mind, so I could enjoy my trip without worry. Dixie thrived in Shannon’s care! We couldn’t be happier to have met her. :)
Shannon was such a breath of fresh air from our first exchange. Not only did she take a last-minute booking, but she was also so gracious to provide food for Duke's stay when I went off and left it behind on my way out of town. She was a joy to converse with, put me at ease, and I felt confident that I had left him in the best hands for my short trip away. She communicated well, sent several photos, and it was evident Duke had a great time away as well. I will definitely use Shannon again in the future.
My girl Nala just had a marathon of stays with Shannon - two boardings and a daycare within a couple weeks. As a senior (and quirky) dog, Nala can be tempermental and have trouble settling into a new place. She felt right at home with Shannon and Oliver and was excited to go back every time. Shannon was also very communicative and patient with my helicopter parenting. 😬 Also, the first extended stay Nala had with Shannon, she was less than a week out from a teeth cleaning that resulted in 10 teeth being pulled, meaning she was sensitive and still hurting. Shannon was ready and willing and made sure Nala was comfortable and well loved. Highly recommend and will absolutely be rebooking!

Shannon was a great dog sitter for Beau. She communicated well, sent lots of photos and her dog was a great friend for Beau while we were away. She even had all Beau's stuff ready to go when I arrived to.pick him up. Thanks Shannon!
Huey has been a regular with Shannon. She is amazing and Huey always has a great time! Highly recommend Shannon!

My schedule is very flexible. I can provide whatever you need in terms of potty breaks and time with your pet. Just let me know in advance.

I have a fenced in yard and my dog is always looking for new friends to run around with. If you want your dog crated, please bring one with you. Otherwise I let them have run of the house.

We take walks through the neighborhood and play fetch in my yard. I also provide a lot of snuggles, blankets to get cozy, and tons of dog beds to lounge in.
