Energetic, loving, experienced
I have been caring for animals since I was a teenager. I have a undergrad degree in marine biology/biology and a masters in education. I have years of experience working in husbandry (animals care in zoos and aquariums), years of pet sitting, and expertise pre-mature and elderly care. I have no issues with administering medications or handling medical needs.

Best sitter ever! Super caring and responsive! Hope she also does baby sitting bc we'll need more of her services soon... Highly recommend!

Brittany was yet again magnificent - and that was no short feat given my dog’s needs this trip. My senior dog has had some aging health issues lately that flared up in a never before seen way during this sitting session. Brittany kept me totally in the loop, dealt with the insanity with deep care, and problem solved to get to a place where my pup was able to be so incredibly comfortable for the majority. A million thanks wouldn’t be enough.

Brittany S. cancelled a booking 3 days before it was scheduled to begin.
Peaches and Annie have been with Brittany more times than I can count now and this last trip was a doozy with behavioral/old lady dementia issues on Peaches part and Brittany handled it with so much patience and grace. An angel here on earth, truly no words for how appreciative I am! Thank you!

Above and beyond… I have no words 🫶

Brittany is the absolute best for our two XL breeds. It’s possible they love her more than us now…thanks a lot Brittany ;)

Schedule
I currently work from home, so I am able to be incredibly flexible in my care of people's most precious family members. I can stay at your home, I can take some animals in at my own home, and I can do drop by's as well.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I normally adopt elderly cats to let them live out their remaining years in a loving home. However, I currently have two rescue cats and one rescue kitten. In short, they are spoiled little buggers that rule my house. I am strict when safety is an issue, but overall, I want them to play, engage, and grow. I apply this same attitude towards other people's beloved animals. I want them to have a positive experience when they are not with you. I also try my best to get all their energy out so they are calmer when you arrive home. For dogs, I don't keep chocolate in the house, except for in the freezer. For cats, I don't have any poisonous plants in the house.
Pets
A typical day
I allow animals in my care to dictate what they would like to do. If they want to stop and sniff every 4 feet, that is what we do. If they want to jog, I do it. I try to take a different route each time to give them an engaging experience, but I also know some dogs like routine. In New Orleans, I always bring water and try to stick to shaded areas but heading to a local park for some play is never out of the question!

- I prefer to know as much about your pet as possible: Food motivated? Food aggressive? How they interact with strangers? Children? Other pets? Other dogs? What is their personality like? What are their favorite activities? Do they tent to be an escape artist? Are there triggering sounds?
