About: Ive pet sit since I was 14, both paid and unpaid, and I love it! I have experience with difficult dogs/cats (multiple high energy pups in one home) and a moody pet does not scare me off. Currently, 30 hours, of my week (~5hrs a day) is spent at my job at a cafe. Outside of that I can fit your fur baby into my schedule before or after work or on my off days! I never work late and my schedule is very flexible Being able to read the body language of your pup/kitty is a crucial skill that I have a lot of experience in. I regularly volunteer at my local animal shelter on the weekends, where I help care for and support dogs of all sizes and personalities. I have also had my own dog, Twix, a Boston Terrier, for the past five years, which has given me hands-on experience with daily care, including feeding, walking, bathing, and providing attention and comfort. I am very comfortable handling all aspects of dog care and making sure pets feel safe and loved. About: I’ve been taking care of my animals and others’ animals from a young age. I have a range of experience- with puppies and kittens, administering medication, unique personalities, special needs, and more. Whether its a high energy dog or a nervous and shy cat or anything in between, I have seen it all! I am flexible and willing to help in any way I can! About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! We have a modest fenced in yard, as well as one dog and one cat of our own. Both are friendly with all species! We have ample space (spare bedrooms) to set up up a crate/kennel if desired.

About: I was always the one to take care of our families dogs while growing up, so I have a lot of experience! Smaller dogs, bigger dogs, senior dogs…does not matter to me! I am currently ending an Americorps term so I have all the time in the world to play with your pups! About: Hi! My name is Brion. (Bree-ahn) I’m a 32 year old female. I’ve always had some sort of pet in my life. I currently have a 1 y/o male golden doodle who is not spayed. I also have a 6 y/o daughter who absolutely adores animals. On weekends my daughter and I would love nothing more than a play buddy. We like taking walks outside and getting fresh air when needed. We live in a fenced home with a backyard, front yard, & a park. So there’s plenty of space for activities and energy. I also have a large cage of my own if needed.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was almost old enough to walk. I majored in Biology at Loyola and also work with a local animal rescue! I’ve always had animals in the house, and have three cats. I help bathe, feed, and walk my parent’s dogs almost every day when I go visit them. During the summer, I take them to the dog park and they absolutely love it. I am a local teacher at an elementary school! I am available every single day, mostly afternoons and nights. During the school day is the only time I’m unavailable! I love playing with dogs and making sure they feel well loved. Crate training and potty training are specialties of mine! About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: I adopted my traveling friend's cat, Zara, for a year and a half before my friend moved back home during lockdown. Zara and I moved a few times in New Orleans, but she adjusted to our home perfectly once we were settled. She snuggled me everyday and was patient with me while I worked in the service industry. I have also cared for ducks, chickens, two older pigs, and a parrot while one of my friends left the city (New Orleans) for her birthday vacation. During this same week, I cared for my disabled friend's blind cat, shrimp tank, goldfish, and two neighborhood cats she tends to. Even though these friends lived on opposite parts of the city, I split my time snuggling with the furry pets and attended to all pets who had medication or special needs. My love for animals has expanded to animals I never thought I'd get to love on! I hope you can welcome me as your pet caretaker while you are away from home. I'm currently working as remote tutor with students from around the world! I'd love to fill my time loving on pets who will enjoy a safe and calm environment while I teach the youth English. My Wife and I have a Golden Doodle now and she takes so much pampering and care. We've been caring for Animals ever since my youth and I love doing it. About: I’ve taken care my dogs my who life. They were always played with, well feed, taken on walks, and groomed to perfection. I love taking care and spending time with animals. I’m available some weekends before 3pm and during the week days I am in school so I have more free time on my hands from working. I have had dogs and cats in my life. My last pet was a female Siamese Cat her name was Nala and I had dog named Bacchus years before her and some one stole them both. But, they stayed with shot updates, vet updates, toys, stocked on food, treats, clothes, love and much entertainment from me. I also believe outside time is very important, it gives them a sense of calmness.
