About: I’m a Tulane Law student who has pet sat for friends and neighbors for over 12 years. I have a flexible school schedule and would love to spend my extra time making sure your dogs and cats are safe, well cared for, and having fun while you’re away! I am a full-time student with flexible hours. I have no weekend school or job commitments, and during the week I’m available for walks, check-ins, etc before and after my classes (typically 10-1pm). I’m happy to discuss specifics with you and find a schedule that works best for your pets, so please feel free to reach out! I have experience with animals that are crate trained and those who are not, and am happy to fulfill whatever roles you need to ensure your pets are kept in their routines while you’re away.

About: Hi! I’m Eden, an animal lover with both personal and professional experience caring for pets. I’m currently a Veterinary Assistant at Château Veterinary Hospital in Kenner and am attending Delgado Community College to become a Veterinary Technician. I share my home with 8 amazing animals, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with all kinds of personalities and needs. About: I have one year of experience working at Pet Supermarket, where I worked around many different types of animals and gained hands-on experience caring for pets. I also helped wash dogs in the Doggy Wash station, so I’m comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and enjoy making sure pets feel safe, clean, comfortable, and cared for. I’m a Xavier student with a flexible schedule, and I’m able to come home between classes during my breaks to check on, walk, feed, or spend time with pets. I’m also available after classes during the week and have more open availability on weekends. I’m happy to work with each pet parent to create a routine that works best for their pet. I live in an apartment with plenty of safe outdoor areas nearby for walks and potty breaks. I always supervise pets, follow their normal routines, keep fresh water available, and make sure they’re comfortable and safe.

About: Ive pet sit since I was 14, both paid and unpaid, and I love it! I have experience with difficult dogs/cats (multiple high energy pups in one home) and a moody pet does not scare me off. Currently, 30 hours, of my week (~5hrs a day) is spent at my job at a cafe. Outside of that I can fit your fur baby into my schedule before or after work or on my off days! I never work late and my schedule is very flexible Being able to read the body language of your pup/kitty is a crucial skill that I have a lot of experience in. About: I’ve been taking care of my animals and others’ animals from a young age. I have a range of experience- with puppies and kittens, administering medication, unique personalities, special needs, and more. Whether its a high energy dog or a nervous and shy cat or anything in between, I have seen it all! I am flexible and willing to help in any way I can! Currently not boarding at the moment since I am moving into a new space soon. I can go home for lunch during the week and am free all evenings and weekends. Since I am in the process of moving to a new space, I am not boarding at the moment. I am usually available for boarding on weeknights after 4p and full days on the weekends. Your pet is my priority whether I am at your place or mine. When staying at your place, I will always try to leave it neater than when I came across it. Whether its replacing batteries in your ring camera or letting the service man come in, I am available to help you in anyway you need when something unexpected occurs while you're out. Any animals staying at my home are made to feel comfortable and safe; my home becomes their home!

About: My family rescued our first dog, April from the local dive bar when I was six years old. According to the vet, April was just two weeks. She had been separated from her mother at birth and hadn’t even opened her eyes yet. My parents worried she'd be too much trouble. I begged to keep her and promised I'd take care of her. April became my sister, my best friend, and my greatest teacher. I fed April from a bottle, taught her how to walk up the stairs, and took her to puppy training classes. April taught me the practice of presence, and the value of unconditional love. Our time spent together makes up some of my most cherished childhood memories. At the age of 13, pet-sitting became my first job. I loved it so much, I didn’t even understand how it could be considered a job. I took care of the animals, and the animals took care of me. In my decade+ of pet-sitting, I’ve worked with a range of breeds, ages, and temperaments. Walking 100lb. pitbulls with fear aggression. Administering medication to seniors. Feeding finicky rescued stray cats. I even fostered and re-homed an abandoned puppy that found me on the beaches of Costa Rica. I can confidently claim that I’ve never once had an animal “reject” me as their caretaker, and I think that says a lot. In the last 6 years, I’ve been living and traveling as a digital nomad. My lifestyle doesn’t currently allow for a pet of my own, so pet-sitting is a blessing that allows me the opportunity to care for pets as if they were my own. I work part-time as a meditation & yoga teacher, and part-time remote as an event organizer. This lifestyle allows me to be very flexible in taking on pet-sitting and house-sitting opportunities. I can build most of my work day around your pets schedule (and I'm more than happy to do so!) I offer long-term and short-term visits and overnight stays to take care of your pets in their own home. I've found that, for most pets, being in the security and routine of their own environment is the best way for them to cope with their owners temporary absence. I make sure to upkeep your pet's sense of "normalcy" to the best of my ability by feeding and walking them at regular intervals, being an active participant in play time (when desired), giving them snuggles (when desired), and just keeping them company! I make sure to upkeep YOUR sense of "normalcy" by respecting your space, keeping it as clean and organized as when I arrive (if not even more so), and following any & all house rules. In addition to overnights, I LOVE to take on daily walks and wellness checks when you're at work or just too busy to do it all on your own!

About: I grew up with several dogs and adopted my own pitbull when i was 22. Sadly I lost her last year at age 14 after a full and happy life. While I am currently pet-free, I would love to help care for others’ pets. I have decades of experience caring for dogs and cats as well as housesitting for several families. I only take on jobs when I have sufficient time to spend with your animals. When I’m housesitting, I make caring for your pets and home my number one priority. I’m sensitive to the unique needs of every animal and will follow all instructions closely. I have experience with rescue dogs that have anxiety, so I am comfortable working with them to keep everyone safe and happy on our walks.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs both big and small for friends and family for up to a week at a time. I’m good with both cats and dogs and look forward to taking care of your pet! I'm able to work mostly remotely, and I try to structure my days around hanging with your pets at your house or at mine. When I do have to leave pets alone, I make sure they're cozy with fresh food and water, toys, and plenty of napping space. I ask lots of questions during our meet-and-greets and our communications to ensure we're aligned on your family's needs schedule-wise, and so that I understand your pet's normal daily routine. I try to keep my calendar current, so you can see when I'm available and when I'm not, but reach out anytime! Your pet stays with me whether in your home or at my own. My flexible schedule allows me to hang out and check in often. I have reliable transportation that allows me to fetch the essentials and the luxuries, like treats. My home has a fenced yard, so there's plenty of space for secure outdoor activities. I also have a pool, so when it's hot, there's a place to cool off. If I'm boarding your pet, I'll follow your lead when it comes to swimming. If your dog loves water, we can swim together, and if they're not a swimmer, I'll make sure we stay dry. I'm always happy to share more details about our yard during our conversations or a meet-and-greet. On walks, we use the leashes and gear you provide and that your pet is familiar with. Alternatively, I can also bring my own leashes if you'd like. I follow your instructions around feeding, routine, and medications (I appreciate having your instructions written down). I refer to your preferred vet and pet hospital information. As a local New Orleanian, I'm resourceful and knowledgeable about the multitude of pet resources in town that help your pet stay healthy and happy, from clinics that offer free vaccines to local restaurants that are pup-friendly.

I am very reliable and trustworthy to take care of the special dog in your life. I have availability in the evenings after my classes at UC Davis Monday, Wednesday and Friday after 3pm and Tuesdays from 7-9am. I can also help on some weekends by appointment! I am a gym owner and I would primarily have your pet there unless I were to watch your pet in your home. I have a fully vaccinated, friendly 2 year old Doberman mix that will keep your pet playful and busy at my gym or I can leave her home and come for a visit to your residence.
