About: I have more than 30 years of dog-sitting experience, and I have worked in the medical field for 32 years. Caring for others has always been a big part of who I am, and that same compassion, patience, and dedication extend to every fur baby entrusted to my care. When your baby is with me, they aren’t just a pet I’m watching they’re family! My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, comfortable, and never lonely while you’re away. A Safe, Loving Home Environment I live in a large home with a spacious, fully fenced, gated, and secured backyard where your baby can enjoy fresh air, playtime, and room to explore safely. I also have a dedicated puppy room to ensure your baby has a comfortable, secure space whenever needed. I am home most of the time. If I need to step out briefly and can safely bring your baby along, I will. If not, your baby will be safely settled in my designated puppy room. I take my responsibility seriously and will always do my best to provide attentive, responsible care. I currently work out of my home and I’m available at all times so I can watch your fur babies. Your babies will absolutely love being at my house. If my schedule looks booked, please contact me anyway I sometimes can make availability. I do this for my special clients thank you. My house is very secure and cameras all around inside and out. I have a fence and backyard. My fur baby are very friendly in love other fur baby, but if need be, I will kennel my fur babies up until your fur baby feels comfortable or keep mine kennel until your baby is picked up. I can assure you, your dog will feel right at home.

About: I've always loved animals and am naturally compassionate. While growing up my family had a small breed dog, and I personally owned hamsters and fish which I was the sole caretaker of. I am also a former Junior [Zoo] Keeper, which equipped me with reptile care experience. As an adult, I have had a German Shepherd, cats, and fish as well. I am adaptable and am confident in my ability to provide competent care for a wide variety of species. I am available for house sitting any days of the week, and available for drop-ins and walks after 5pm Mon-Fri and all throughout weekend days. About: When your pets stay with me, they get my full attention. I'm currently freelancing and work mostly from home, besides the occasional meeting, in-person project, or event. I prefer to host one pet family at a time, so that I can give each client and crew my utmost effort, compassion, and care. I want to make sure your family members are thriving and living their best lives while you're away! I've cared for cats, dogs, and even turtles since I was a kid. I'm an avid foster with the Louisiana SPCA and have volunteered with animal welfare organizations across the state since I was a teenager. I've cared for almost every kind of dog: the chill seniors, the anxious rescues, and the gregarious goofballs. I enjoy exploring the colorful neighborhoods of New Orleans with a companion by my side. I also love teaching and learning new tricks, and I'm always down for an impromptu playtime. In my free time, I'm a passionate circus artist, so I'm usually juggling tennis balls when I'm not throwing them for fetch. I'm a lifelong New Orleanian, so I know all the coolest (literally) spots in town. Whether that's a long sniffy and shaded walk in City Park, or a breezy stroll along the lakefront, I make sure all of our adventures are catered to your pet's comfort and schedule. I'm currently freelancing, so I have ample free time to care for pets of all kinds. With enough notice, I can generally be available any day of the week at any time. I'm able to work mostly remotely, and I try to structure my days around hanging with your pets at your house or at mine. When I do have to leave pets alone, I make sure they're cozy with fresh food and water, toys, and plenty of napping space. I ask lots of questions during our meet-and-greets and our communications to ensure we're aligned on your family's needs schedule-wise, and so that I understand your pet's normal daily routine. I try to keep my calendar current, so you can see when I'm available and when I'm not, but reach out anytime! Your pet stays with me whether in your home or at my own. My flexible schedule allows me to hang out and check in often. I have reliable transportation that allows me to fetch the essentials and the luxuries, like treats. My home has a fenced yard, so there's plenty of space for secure outdoor activities. I also have a pool, so when it's hot, there's a place to cool off. If I'm boarding your pet, I'll follow your lead when it comes to swimming. If your dog loves water, we can swim together, and if they're not a swimmer, I'll make sure we stay dry. I'm always happy to share more details about our yard during our conversations or a meet-and-greet. On walks, we use the leashes and gear you provide and that your pet is familiar with. Alternatively, I can also bring my own leashes if you'd like. I follow your instructions around feeding, routine, and medications (I appreciate having your instructions written down). I refer to your preferred vet and pet hospital information. As a local New Orleanian, I'm resourceful and knowledgeable about the multitude of pet resources in town that help your pet stay healthy and happy, from clinics that offer free vaccines to local restaurants that are pup-friendly.

About: Hello there! My name is Anika and I used to be a pet caregiver on Rover a while ago when I was going through college, but decided to reactivate my account to come back on board! A little bit about myself... I received my Master's Degree from LSU and have been working in my career field for a few years now, but I still very much enjoy spending time with animals and thought that continuing with Rover was a great way to be able to spend time with animals while making an extra income on the side! Therefore, although I am newly back on Rover, I have been with Rover in the past. I am also a go-to foster and volunteer for several local rescue groups, so I have experience with all types of animals (mainly cats and dogs) and welcome all. I have also grown up with animals my whole life and my sweet beloved senior dog recently passed away; my "soul dog" as some may say. I had him for a little over 13 amazing years. However, being able to work with and volunteer with animals has really been great, which is why I definitely wanted to continue with Rover again. I am also accepting new customers and now offering lower rates as well! You can rest assure that when you leave your beloved fur babies with me that they are in great hands. I am a safe and responsible person. I am and always have been an all-around animal-lover. Thank you for considering or choosing me and I hope you have a peaceful and restful 2026! I am currently working part-time in behavioral health and will soon also be working as a fitness instructor as well, but my schedule is flexible. I am currently not offering in-boarding in my home, but I offer overnight sitting in the client’s home. Your pets will be treated like family when they are with me. About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs since my early childhood. I currently operate a small dog walking business servicing the new orleans area. I currently plan on Pet walking and sitting on weekends and after 4pm on weekdays. I work full time and get off at 4pm which is right on time for walks, food and enrichment activities. I care for pets by making sure that they are consistently stimulated, whether that be music, petting, walks, conversation, play or mental enrichment. About: I’ve always adored pets since I was young. I’ve had many in my life from cats,dogs,and rodents. I know animals are equal beings that need treatment with special accommodations. This requires patience which is almost unlimited for me.i currently have three cats that I’ve owned since they were 3-4 months old they’re now 6. I just got rats a few weeks ago they’re girls 6-8 months old. I believe everything follows a routine dedicated to them and I have no issue aligning myself to these routines. I’m still finishing high school at the moment and I have a job. But besides managing those I’m available weekdays after 4 if I’m not scheduled to work, weekends any time I keep my babies inside as much as possible. They’re allowed to free roam outside since they’re used to that lifestyle from before. They wear flee collars, jam is allergic. I cleanse them with daily grooming and anima safe wipes or soap if necessary. They’re fed 2-3 a day with half a cup or less of cat food I do plan to change their diets eventually. When it comes to other people’s pets I treat them with nothing but love and care and always stay considerate of whatever the owner says I should know about that animal. I’m extremely against cruelty brand products so I will avoid associating or using them.
