In addition to personal experience with animals over the years, I have professional experience volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. One of the largest animal rehabilitation clinics in the world. I hope I can be someone you wholeheartedly trust with the care of your beloved furry one. I currently work full time as a pet sitter in addition to small freelance work so my schedule is flexible. On weekdays I will be gone for short periods of time but can be back every couple hours. I always make sure to get my pups set up when I leave the house. I'm a very hands on pet sitter. I understand the needs of animals and their lil personalities intuitively and I like to check in to make sure they are safe and happy.

I'll keep things clean and organized, bring in mail, water plants, or handle other agreed-upon household tasks, and make sure everything is in order when you return. They growled, wouldn’t come downstairs to be fed. But she hung in there and won them over! About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

I am an independent esthetician so I set my own schedule making petsitting very easy to fit in as well as working within a 3 block radius of my home! Can put breaks in my day whenever needed!
