About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I have had cats for so many years of my life before having a few dogs and then birds and hamster's added in to our life during the time of having multiple cats. We only have cats now since the year of October 2010 til current times. I'm passionate about working with animals and providing attentive care. About: Hello! I am a retired teacher and mom to Benny, my sweet fur baby. I rescued him 10 years ago after my Golden doodle, Sophie, crossed the rainbow bridge. I have 20 years of pet experience, including caring for sick pets. I can administer medication (to dogs) with the help of sweet potatoes, and care for pets who have had surgery, including taking them to follow up visits or physical therapy. I have also cared for senior dogs, including a sweet Chihuahua named Lola who was blind. I provide drop in visits for those of you who would rather not board your dog in a kennel. I adore animals and I am able to care for dogs, fish and cats, including cleaning litter boxes. I can provide references with regard to my skill, honesty, and trustworthiness. I consider pets family members and I know just how important it is to know that they are in good hands when we have to leave them home. I am very conscious and cautious of escape artists, making sure gates are closed, and securing your home before I leave.
