“Caitlin went above and beyond for my spoiled cat and gave her absolute princess treatment with treats, cuddles and play time. I got so many beautiful updates, photos and videos to help me get through being so far away from her, and I'm keeping them all! Can't recommend her enough!”

“Mimi went above and beyond for my kitties!! I had never left them alone before so I was definitely a needy pet parent. She calmed my nerves and made sure they were well taken care of. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Carlie exceeded expectations. I would give her 5 Paws! My pets loved her, and she was very attentive. I especially appreciate the photos she took of them. I will definitely rebook with her.”

“Chloe is wonderful! So kind and communicative. This was my first time using Rover and I was a bit nervous, but she totally put me at ease. She agreed to a meet and greet beforehand and was so patient with my puppy. She also sent thoughtful updates with plenty of pictures and was respectful to my living space. Highly recommend, thanks, Chloe!”

“She accepted my last minute request for someone to check in on my cat. Very flexible, and despite the fact I hadn't prepared, she took care of everything. Thank you!”

“Once again Renee did a great job with our German Shepherd. She really makes sure he’s taken care of, not just fed and watered. She responds quickly and communicates with every visit. Feel completely comfortable leaving the dog at home.”
“Olivia was amazing with my babies while I was out of town for a few days and made me feel at ease during a time that I would’ve been extremely worried and stressed. Would definitely recommend her services to know that your loved ones are safe and secure when you can’t be there.”

“Adam did a great job of caring for Kylo and Gary when we were away on vacation! We booked him for drop in visits, and his report card updates were great, and we felt comfortable with him in our home with the cats! Would book again in the future!”

“Mitchell was the perfect choice. He kept us updated of every detail with our pups. I highly recommend Mitchell for booking and will for sure share his service with my peers. Thanks again.”

“Victoria was an awesome sitter for our two 4 month old kittens. She has a wonderful demeanor, they had no issues warming up to her. We would definitely book with her again!”

“Abby is amazing! She was quick to communicate, great about a little meet and greet before watching my pups. The boys love her and she followed all my instructions perfectly.”

About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! If I could cuddle a gator I would!!! I have also done whelping services for many family members. I have done a lot of fostering and bottle feeding both puppies and kittens. I’m currently working only for Rover. So I can dedicate all my time to your fur baby and his/her needs and the loving care and schedule you want for them. However I am instructed to. I am there to make you and your pet comfortable while away. It can be stressful for pet and pet parents when they are not together. I try to keep your pets schedule as similar to what they are used to with you. Feeding/ walking/ playing/ sleeping/ waking up will all be as close to their normal schedule as possible. Their comfort is my first priority.
About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
About: History of dog ownership for 10+ years Experience with dog sitting for 4 years and some dog training as well, medication administration, providing daily exercise. Clients have been long time residents of my area and can recommend me for their pet care needs. Very trusting when leaving me with their pets. Always willing to do overnight stays when needed to watch the pets and their home. Provide light to moderate cleaning. Good with keeping up consistent training as requested. I'm currently working at home and have time for playful pet care. I also have a pup who's friendly and would love a friend to hang out with! I have a fenced yard and supervise all play time. In client's homes I watch closely and am always nearby to supervise. I offer light housework and pick up of any messes made by your pup.

About: Hello there! My name is Anika and I used to be a pet caregiver on Rover a while ago when I was going through college, but decided to reactivate my account to come back on board! A little bit about myself... I received my Master's Degree from LSU and have been working in my career field for a few years now, but I still very much enjoy spending time with animals and thought that continuing with Rover was a great way to be able to spend time with animals while making an extra income on the side! I am currently working at a local hospital. Therefore, although I am newly back on Rover, I have been with Rover in the past. I am also a go-to foster and volunteer for several local rescue groups, so I have experience with all types of animals (mainly cats and dogs) and welcome all. I also often help train dogs for animal rescue organizations to get them ready for their new loving forever homes. I have also grown up with animals my whole life and my sweet beloved senior dog recently passed away; my "soul dog" as some may say. I had him for a little over 13 amazing years. However, being able to work with and volunteer with animals has really been great, which is why I definitely wanted to continue with Rover again. You can rest assure that when you leave your beloved fur babies with me that they are in great hands. I am a safe and responsible person. I am and always have been an all-around animal-lover. If your dog is a couch potato, that's fine... we can curl up and watch a movie on the couch together with some belly rubs! If your dog is more high-energy, that's fine... we can go for walks, jogs, play fetch in the yard, play with toys and more! The same goes for cats, bunnies and other types of animals; I can meet the pet client where they are at based on their personality. I have over 20 years of experience with animals from both personal and professional experience. I have experience with all types of animals of all ages ranges (from young to senior), sizes and breeds. Thank you for considering or choosing me and I hope you have a peaceful and restful 2026! I am currently working part-time in behavioral health and will soon also be working as a fitness instructor as well, but my schedule is flexible. I am currently not offering in-boarding in my home, but I offer overnight sitting in the client’s home. Your pets will be treated like family when they are with me. I adore all animals and believe in providing them with a healthy and happy environment. They will get lots of attention, toy play time, love, exercise and fun. Your furry family members will always be well supervised and cared for when they are with me.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Caernarvon. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
