“Jessica is the absolute best! I would never trust anyone else with my 4 fur babies! They all love her. She takes the extra time to get to know them and meet their individual (spoiled) needs! They really love her! I always feel secure, knowing Jessica has them taken care of! 10 STARS!”

“Linda did an excellent job with keeping my kitties fed, groomed and happy. I received daily updates with pictures. I will definitely ask her to cat-sit fir me again in the future. ?”

“Our Teddy LOVES Karlin! We would absolutely recommend booking with her for any of your pet needs. We booked her for one week of drop-in visits with our "old man" Teddy who's 14 years old and has neurological issues with his back legs along with vision & hearing loss. It just took 2 visits for him to feel comfortable with Karlin. She has never-ending patience with Teddy & even HAND FEEDS him. She also visits with our cat Toby who is usually pretty leery of new people in the house. Because of recent surgery, I was temporarily unable to lift our doggie, so Karlin was a life-saver with her daily drop-in visits. She's sweet as can be and fun to visit with as well. We are all thankful we found her on ROVER!”

About: New to Rover, not new to loving pets. I’m currently offering introductory rates while I build my reviews here. So your pup gets premium care at a great price. I’ve been dog walking plus pet and house sitting since I was a teenager. I’m also a Certified Pharmacy Technician of 20+ years with veterinary experience. I'm a dependable and detail-oriented professional who hails from New Orleans, LA. For the last 4 years, I called Washington DC home, but am now in the very beginning of a leap into long-term international travel... with house and pet sitting plus dog walking as an important part of the journey as I leap. I live a quiet, grounded lifestyle and I deeply respect other people’s space. As a life-long renter with a stellar track record, whether I’m spending time with your pet in your home or just walking them… when it comes to watching your home and also caring for your pet, you can expect clear communication, a clean space when you return, a happy fur baby, and lots of peace of mind while you're away. I treat your pet as if it were my own and your home as if my name were on the deed. I am location-independent, allowing me to have plenty of time to play with my fur babies! My flexible schedule is one of the most rewarding thing about being able to care for your pets. I work from wherever I am. This allows for long walks, dog park adventures, or quiet relaxing moments at your home; depending on the needs and desires of your pet. When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to maintain their normal routine and environment so they feel comfortable, safe, and stress-free. I follow all instructions closely. Whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, preferred walking routes, or special quirks your pet may have. I treat your home with the same respect I give to my own: keeping things clean, secure, and peaceful. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust not just with your pet, but with your space. Your pet will get my full attention, whether that means playtime, long walks, belly rubs, or just quiet companionship. I also provide regular updates and photos so you always know how things are going.
About: What sets me apart is the level of attentiveness and genuine care I bring to every pet I look after. With a background in healthcare, I’m trained to notice small changes in behavior and comfort — which helps me provide thoughtful, detail-oriented care to animals of all kinds. I’m also comfortable following specific routines, administering medications, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Beyond that, I truly enjoy spending time with pets — whether it’s going on walks, giving belly rubs, or making sure food and water bowls are spotless. I believe animals pick up on energy, so I always approach them with patience, calmness, and affection. Pet care isn’t just a side job for me; it’s something I take pride in because every pet deserves to feel secure and loved while their owners are away. Caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life — I currently have three dogs and four cats, so tending to pets comes naturally to me. My mornings usually start with feeding, walks, and playtime to make sure everyone gets exercise and attention before I start my day. Throughout the day, I maintain a clean and comfortable environment by refreshing water bowls, cleaning litter boxes, and giving plenty of love and interaction. Because I already balance caring for multiple pets at home, I’m used to managing different personalities, energy levels, and feeding schedules. I’m organized and attentive, making sure each animal gets the right balance of structure, affection, and care. Whether it’s administering medications, cleaning up after them, or giving them extra cuddles, pet care isn’t a task for me — it’s a lifestyle. I truly enjoy being surrounded by animals and making sure they’re healthy, happy, and loved every single day. Whether pets are in my home or I’m caring for them in their own, my top priorities are comfort, safety, and consistency. At home, my three dogs and four cats live in a clean, organized, and loving environment — with regular feeding times, walks, play sessions, and plenty of cuddles. I make sure every pet has their own space to feel relaxed and secure, and I pay close attention to their behavior and routines. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space and animals with the same respect and attention I give my own. I follow each pet’s schedule exactly as the owner prefers — from feeding times and walks to medications and bedtime routines. I always send updates and photos so owners can feel at ease knowing their pets are happy and well cared for. I believe that pets thrive on routine, affection, and trust — and I’m committed to providing all three, no matter where I’m caring for them.
About: I've always had a love for animals, especially dogs, and I've always grown up around them. My family has me take care of their dogs when they're out of town, including my cousin who has five dogs. I'm currently home for the summer, looking for some extra income. I love dogs, so I figured this is the perfect environment for me. I can walk or sit with your dog based on my current work schedule. As of current, I work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; however, I can always make time after work and anytime on my days off. My dog at home loves to be surrounded by her family and to be included in everything we do, from hanging out while we do dishes to sleeping in my bed. I am available to take your dog for long walks, while at the same just provided them with some company.
“Veronica was so, so great with our 3 cats! She shared pictures and frequent updates so we always felt like we knew what was going on. She'll definitely be out go-to in the future! Highly recommend her.”

“Victoria was very sweet and professional. She sent me updates of my pet everyday which gave me peace of mind. I could tell my pet felt very comfortable around Victoria. If I ever need a pet sitter in the future, I know my pet would be in good hands with Victoria!”

“Heather was an absolutely amazing sitter for our cat Lizzie. Lizzie has not had many sitters and she usually takes a while to warm up to new people but she was cuddling immediately because Heather has great energy and takes such good care of your pet. She's kind and caring, made sure to update us at every step along the way, took great pictures, and really showed our girl the kind of love and attention that all pets need when you're away! Everything was super easy and we would HIGHLY recommend Heather.”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 10. From family pets (dogs and cats) to friends, I've been available to assist in at home care and walking depending on the need. I'm currently working part-time at a barre studio and I also substitute at schools. On days I substitute (unless the schools are on holiday) I am not free until after 2 pm. On days I work at the studio, I have time throughout the day before and after shifts to check on any furry friends. I cannot currently host furry friends at my apartment. However, I am open and available to pet sitting at your home as I have done that many times in the past. It is a great way to not interrupt your pet's routine.
“Chloe did a great job watching my Elton, who can be a high maintenance kitty. She sent daily pictures and updates. I came home to him happy healthy and relaxed. The house was neat and clean. I would highly recommend Chloe to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

“IIeanna was awesome! And my baby boy loved her. She sends updates on every check in and he looked extremely happy each time! I will use her in the future for sure! Thanks again”
