I am really passionate about animals as I volunteer for a rescue and love to spend my time around animals when possible! I had my own senior dog who just passed, and have a soft spot for the seniors. I now have a 1 year old rescue named Snoop! Don’t be afraid to reach out and we can figure something out! I can come check anytime during the week or weekend!

Safety, trust & environment
I always put a new dog on a leash and harness/collar when going outside even if it’s a fenced in area to determine if they are able to escape or slide through the fence or gate. Safety is important for me and the dog. For cats I am very careful to close the door behind me so they do not sneak out! The door is always locked when I leave. I always will communicate when I’m on the way and when I’m about to leave the visit. Communication is very important to me.
Information Cristina M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should know before hand. This also includes allergies and how they do with other dogs, cats, adults, and children! Also if there are any neighborhood animals I should know about while on a walk!
A typical day
During drop in visits, we will spend some time outside going potty, topping off food and water, and playing/getting some love the rest of the time! On walks I like to talk to the dog and point out the nature around us. I like to walk where there is a lot of green vegetation and shade. Your dog’s safety is my number one priority. For cats, I like to play with their toys (especially wands!) and give them lots of pets and love! If there is a treat puzzle or laser for cats, I am happy to get those set up as well.

Pet care experience
Hi everyone! My name is Cristina M. and I am a college graduate and have had dogs all my life and have lots of experience with cats as well! I rescued and adopted my own personal dog, a 17 year old miniature pinscher named Tarzan, who just passed, and now I have a 1 year old rescue named Snoop. I am very patient, kind, and will treat your pet like they are mine! I am also very organized and am good at following instructions. Having had a senior dog, I am comfortable giving medicines and I have a lot of patience. I have lots of experience with all breeds and ages of cats and dogs. Do not hesitate to reach out with questions! I am looking forward to connecting with you! Thanks!

Cristina is amazing! A great communicator and wonderful with my cats. I have a blind cat and Cristina knew what to do with her and how to interact with her. I would trust my cats to her again.

Christina was great! She communicates very well and took great care of Groot while I was away :)

Cristina was great with our 2 dogs! We came home to them both happy! We will call her again next time we go out of town. Good communication as well!

Can't say enough good things about Cristina. Leaving your pup with someone new is nerve-wracking, and she made it easy from the jump. Communication is excellent, she sends tons of great photos, and it's obvious she genuinely enjoys spending time with Fern. She bonded with her fast and I can tell from the photos that Fern is happy and having a great time. I've booked her five times now and she's been fantastic every single time — including a last-minute request she handled without missing a beat. Highly recommend.
