I'm Dominique, a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats.I grew up in a home full of pets, and from a young age I've been walking, bathing, and caring for animals with genuine love and respect. Both of my parents are animal lovers, and naturally so am I. I love them all; dogs, cats, reptiles and birds. Now based in New Orleans, I offer reliable and loving care for your pets while you're away. I am fine with a fenced-in backyard, and if the pet is not fully trained without a leash, I have no issues with putting a leash on. Also, if the pet needs to be crated, that is certainly not an issue as well. Trust and safety are important values to me, and is something that will continually be reinforced for not only your safety but for mine as well.

About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!

About: I have previous experience working in healthcare as a tech. I do not much experience working with pets expect my own. I did do some volunteer work at my local shelter during highschool. I’m currently taking a break from healthcare. I would be working fully invested in your pet needs. I currently take online classes. My school shouldn’t effect my time with your pet. I have a fenced yard for my dog. I also have ring cameras and outside cameras around my house for my dog. She is also microchipped.

About: I’ve been a dog mom for 3+ years to two pit bulls and a chihuahua (yes, they’re all best friends!). That mix alone has taught me patience, structure, and how to make sure every pup feels safe and loved. Beyond my own crew, I’ve cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes for different families—turning daily walks, playtime, and even simple feedings into fun, stress-free experiences. I make it my goal to treat each dog like they’re part of the pack. Whether it’s snuggles, exercise, or just keeping routines consistent, I bring energy, reliability, and lots of love. Every day I fit my dogs into my routine with morning walks, feeding, and playtime before I head out. When I’m home, they get cuddle time, training refreshers, and another walk to burn energy. Balancing two pit bulls and a chihuahua keeps me consistent, patient, and organized—so caring for other dogs naturally fits right into my day. I always make sure food, toys, and spaces are safe for all sizes of dogs. Walks are done with secure leashes and harnesses, and I never take chances with off-leash time. At home, I keep routines structured, supervise play, and separate dogs if needed to make sure everyone feels comfortable. Safety is always my first priority, right alongside love and fun.

About: Hey there! I’m Sarah. I'm so excited to be here on Rover! I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. My mom was a rescue manager, so naturally, her love for furbabies poured over to me, as well.  I grew up helping my mom with our furfamily, fosters, and I even went with her when she was pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors. I wanted to be as much help as I could to my mom and them. Tho my mom doesn’t pet sit anymore, she is still my go to and may come with me from time to time to help. In mentioning my mom, she drinks coffee out of a mug that reads, "I WILL SAVE THEM ALL." I love that mug! We have a furfamily of 5 dogs and 2 cats. I love them all so much and am grateful for each of them. They make me smile from ear to ear on a daily basis. I also work full-time 3 to 1130 Thursday-Monsay. I could work on my off days, which is Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but that has to be midday visits/walks Available Thursday-Monday 7 AM to 3 PM. Of note, I will always do my very best to give plenty of notice for days I will not be available (ie. Holidays and personal time off, etc.). I offer drop-in services only. I am excited to have this opportunity to be there for you. I understand how important it is to be able to trust who takes care of your furbabies. I will indeed take care of your furbabies as if they were a part of my family.

About: Hello neighbors and fellow pet parents! My name is Allie and I am a full time night shift RN. What full time means for me: I work three 12 hour night shifts per week and on those days and for half the day after my 3rd shift I don’t offer pet sitting services because your animals deserve all the attention. It also means that I am home 4-5 days out of the week all day. I have two indoor/outdoor cats named Karma and Mo. I also have a sweet 7lb Chiweenie named Murphy. All of my animals are fixed and UTD on vaccinations. I have a large fenced in back yard that has plenty of room for more paws. My cats keep to themselves and are used to Murphy’s zoomies. Murph loves dogs and cats of all sizes as well as children (talk to me about babysitting as well). I am just looking to give Murphy some socialization and playtime with friends on my off days and have more doggos to pet 🥰 I am home during the daytime and I work 3 night shifts per week that is not a set schedule. I will update my specific availability every month. I have a large fenced in backyard and I live close to Lafreniere park for frequent walks if the weather is right. Murphy loves laying in the sun and running around with any animal that will play with him. He even befriended a neighborhood turtle. I also love the outdoors so you can expect me to sit outside and play with the dogs while enjoying the sun myself. We love outside but we are also couch potato’s on my off days! All of my pets sleep in bed with me but Murphy is also crate trained and stays in his crate when I work and is able to be crated if necessary.

About: I’m a dog trainer and former veterinary technician, which means I bring both behavioral and medical experience to every dog I care for. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, high-energy working breeds, and dogs with special needs or medical routines. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” dogs I understand them, structure their environment, and keep them safe and relaxed. Every dog in my care gets individualized attention, exercise, and consistency in a calm, secure home environment. Pet care is part of my daily routine and I structure my schedule around the dogs in my care. About: I’ve taken care of friends and family dogs since young age always had the love and care for dogs, I’ve taken care of puppies stages I currently have a full-time job but outside of work I prefer to spend time with my dog and make sure he enjoys himself every day caring for your pets fits in my weekly routine because it’s already my daily schedule. I like to make sure my dog goes to the dog park that I walk him play with him make sure he gets tired and enjoys the day. The way I would care for your pet is if he was like my own pet that I will enjoy making them happy makes me happy. About: Since I was young, I’ve been around dogs most of my life. My family only kept bigger breeds of dogs, so I’m used to handling them (for example: pit bulls, boxers, and German shepherds). I’ve also provided help to neighbors and friends with their dogs. I’ve aided in watching/helping with a dog birth for my neighbor as well as my own dog. I’m working full time from home and can step out to take breaks during the week to check on animals. I also get off at 4:30pm, so I’m 100% free after that. My own pet care routine fits in whenever my cats need their needs met like scooping litter or monitoring food and play needs. I care for pets in my clients home by providing ample outlets for the pets to play with so they don’t get bored. If they want to go outside, I’ll make sure they stay within the fenced in yard and/or play with them in their designated spot.

I have experience with caring for dogs with higher need levels and can administer oral medication.
