About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!

About: Hi! We’re Seth and Farrah, the team behind 504Doghouse. We’ve both grown up around animals our entire lives, and together we bring a wide range of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and even farm animals. We love what we do and treat every pet like family. ⸻ Our Pet Care Experience From Seth: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, but my lifelong dog Phoebe — a miniature schnauzer — taught me what it really means to care for a pet from childhood through adulthood. Later, I fostered a high-energy Lab/Pit mix named Bella, who showed me how different breeds have different needs, personalities, and training styles. After serving in the military, I rescued my dog Deku, a border collie–schnauzer mix who learned full obedience and trick training within months. I’ve also helped raise my brother’s Catahoula/Blue Heeler mix, Snoop — another high-energy, intelligent dog who taught me how to handle rough play and stubborn behavior. I’ve worked at Petco handling small animals, volunteered at shelters, and now regularly walk dogs, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. From Farrah: I’ve cared for cats and dogs my entire life, and my Boston Terrier — who I walked and ran with for over 10 years — shaped my understanding of daily pet care, consistency, and companionship. As an adult, I fostered a kitten for almost a year and have been house-sitting for the past 3 years. I’ve cared for up to 4 cats, 2 dogs (large and small), and even goats and chickens for the family I regularly house sit for. Pet care fits easily into our weekly routine because we both have flexible schedules. Here’s how we manage our availability: • Seth works part-time, which leaves plenty of open hours during the day for walks and drop-ins. • Farrah is currently pregnant and stays at home, so she’s almost always available to give consistent attention and care. • Walks are offered between 9 AM–6 PM. • Drop-ins are available until 8 PM. • Weekends and special situations can be accommodated upon request. • Because there are two of us, we’re able to provide reliable coverage, flexibility, and quick communication. We keep our schedule open to make sure your pet’s routine stays steady, stress-free, and well cared for. We take safety and trust seriously in every situation. When we’re caring for pets in your home, we follow your routines exactly, keep doors and gates secured, use your preferred equipment, and make sure everything is clean and locked up before we leave. For walks and drop-ins, we use safe, controlled walking practices, avoid risky dog interactions, watch weather conditions, and always keep your pet on leash. We send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. Overall, we treat every pet like our own. With two of us working together, your pet gets reliable attention, consistency, and a calm, safe environment every time.

About: My family and I have fostered and adopted injured/disabled dogs in the past so I understand what it takes to care for special need animals. I also have a senior dog and so I know the steps needed to care for an older dog(s)! I do not work and therefore have a lot of time to take care of your pet(s)! I have the time to play, walk, and do whatever you deem necessary for your pet’s health and wellbeing! When pet sitting, your furry companion will get so much love and attention, and they will get as much play time as desired and as many walks necessary! They will be fed appropriately and given medication if necessary! All rules will be followed and your house will be well respected.

About: I love animals and have cared for friends’ pets whenever they’ve needed a trusted dog sitter. I’ve also fostered dogs for Take Paws Rescue, from young puppies to senior dogs, which has given me experience with pets of all ages and personalities. I treat every animal with patience, love, and attention, the same way I would want someone to care for my own pets. I have recently started a new job but will have open availability on days off from that job. I will update my availability accordingly. The days that are available you can rest assured they will be dedicated to your pet. I currently have three rescue dogs of my own, a Doberman puppy, a two year old Doberman, and a small mixed breed. I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Because of my own pets, I prefer caring for animals in their own home where they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I always treat every pet with patience, love, and care as if they were my own.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. I additionally took care of my other dog in her early months waking up multiple times nightly to calm her down. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy or a senior pet needing extra care, I’m confident in handling all kinds of needs. I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week, so I’m able to care for pets whenever needed. Pet care easily fits my routine, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pets specific needs and schedule.your pets comfort and routine will always come first. I believe pets are most comfortable and relaxed in their own home, which is why I only offer care in the clients space. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would expect in return. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities.

About: Hey there! I’m Sarah. I'm so excited to be here on Rover! I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. My mom was a rescue manager, so naturally, her love for furbabies poured over to me, as well.  I grew up helping my mom with our furfamily, fosters, and I even went with her when she was pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors. I wanted to be as much help as I could to my mom and them. Tho my mom doesn’t pet sit anymore, she is still my go to and may come with me from time to time to help. In mentioning my mom, she drinks coffee out of a mug that reads, "I WILL SAVE THEM ALL." I love that mug! We have a furfamily of 5 dogs and 2 cats. I love them all so much and am grateful for each of them. They make me smile from ear to ear on a daily basis. I also work full-time 3 to 1130 Thursday-Monsay. I could work on my off days, which is Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but that has to be midday visits/walks Available Thursday-Monday 7 AM to 3 PM. Of note, I will always do my very best to give plenty of notice for days I will not be available (ie. Holidays and personal time off, etc.). I offer drop-in services only. I am excited to have this opportunity to be there for you. I understand how important it is to be able to trust who takes care of your furbabies. I will indeed take care of your furbabies as if they were a part of my family.

About: Growing up I was always surrounded by animals, giving me to ability to learn how to care, accommodate and adapt to their needs! I've taken care of a variety of different animals from reptiles and fish, to cats and dogs, from small mammals to even live stock! Pet care services is what I do for my living so my days will always be surrounded and centered around your babies, in whatever means necessary. Picture and video updates of your littles will always be shared with you and the time I spend with them is completely up to you! However much time you need to ensure your babies are receiving the love, care, and attention they need, I will be there.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs/cats of all kinds for 6 years now. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and extend love to their pets. I enjoy meeting new pets and adapting to their needs. I work a full time job myself but adjust so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I know how important it is to show care and love to all pets any time of the day! I have a fenced yard and one dog that’s not even close to harmful. I also have two cats that live a life of their own and cause no bother to anyone. Anything that is requested can certainly be met.

About: I have always had a passion for animals goes beyond care. I have 2 cats, a leopard gecko, and an African Dwarf frog as my own pets. I have volunteered at animal shelters and worked in a veterinary clinic for a summer as a vet tech. I am also able to help with other types of pets as well, such as reptiles or mammals! I had a pet rabbit for 10 years and plenty experience with reptiles! I currently work part time right by lakeside mall, so I am available before I go in, during my lunch break (1 hour), and after I get off (latest will be 5:30) I am able to play with your pets/walk your dogs in the mornings before I go to work, during my hour long lunch break, and/or when I get off of work! My pets mean the absolute world to me. There’s nothing like gaining an animals trust and building that bond. I love every animal as my own and I can’t wait to meet your pets!

About: I enjoy taking dogs on walks and teaching them new tricks. I have recently dog sat for a 9 month old dog, and walked a senior dog. I love all dogs and any type of care. I do not have a job at the moment. I will be available all day and everyday, including weekends, during the months of may and June. I can do whatever is needed to keep your dog happy and safe. I can put him in a crate, watch him in the back yard, or watch him in the house for as long as needed.

About: I love caring for cats and keeping them company. I have house/cat sitted in New York, San Juan, Santo Domingo, Rome, Copenhagen and Los Angeles. I am a freelance musician and I currently work part time doing deliveries mostly at night so my schedule is flexible to accommodate any needs. Most of my free time is during the day and then after 10pm. I take time to get to know your pets and discuss if they have special needs. I like to meet them when the owner is present, so they feel safe and we can talk about the interactions.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up! I got my first on cat (Katniss) as a freshman in college, and she is now 12 years old and thriving well! I got my first dog (Albus) the next year and he is a 106 pounds black lab who is also doing very well. I am a teacher so I am off from June-July 20 all day, every day. I can show up on short notice and stay for extended periods if needed! My schedule for the next 2 months is extremely flexible, and I’m willing to work with your schedule as well! I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I’m very experienced caring for multiple pets in a home environment. I have a condo in Metairie a block from the levee where I can take a dog on a good walk, and my parents house in mandeville with a fenced yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. I can easily crate your dog or cat if needed, follow any specific feeding, medication, or routine instructions, and provide plenty of love, attention, and enrichment. Whether the service is at my home or yours, my goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.

About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

Also I believe he’s actually trustworthy since he had keys to my apartment to retrieve my dog twice a day. No problems in that department at all. Gerphren really liked him and seemed to expect his presence even when the weekend would come. I would recommend Ryan. When I return he will be my first call.”

About: At tia ale's house , your fur baby is not an animal or pet. They are part of our family... not only will they be loved and cherished (that is a given) but also we will try to enrich their curiosity and animal nature!! (depending on their breed & preferences) fetch, walks, bubbles, and sniffing activities will be part of our day! as well as snacks and fresh ice cold water. Your fur baby will have a vacation away from home at Tia ale's house. I have plenty of time for their care, entertainment since I’m home 24/7. We would get up early in the morning and exercise then mind stimulation during the afternoon. Bed time would be from 7-9 pm depending on how tired your fur baby is. I have a fenced yard, and cameras around the house. We also have a nice backyard that gets sprayed every 3 months for fleas and bugs.
