About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!

About: I have 2 dogs, a boxer named Goose that is a rescue and a lemon beagle. I love all animals and I will treat your dog or cat like it’s my own. I have a very flexible schedule. Im employed under contract basis and I’m working on a special project is which allows for very flexible availability. I’m available for feedings, play time, long walks or just to spend time with your animal. I love to cuddle or play indoors or outdoors

There's no setting for that weight on Rover. (Unless your pet is an elder and/or they're very mellow) <--- My name is Melissa (aka. "Missy"). I can also help you fulfill the rules & requirements at a "Pet-Friendly" NOLa hotel, when the rules say, “you cannot leave your pet in the hotel room alone”. I will be at your pet's side, while you take care of business or if you have a fun get-away planned. I’m very comfortable with many different animals & dog breeds, including elderly dogs that need a mellow, safe space with calm, gentle care. I pay close attention to what your dog likes & dis-likes, along with their personality quirks & individual needs. I enjoy caring for all animals, both young & old. I do not accept more than 2-3 dogs at a time. ((I USUALLY only schedule ONE family's pet(s) at the same time, especially if there’s a new dog client)). I always put in a great deal of consideration, before scheduling more than one family's pet at the same time. My home is very spacious, clean, well-organized & safe. I have a large, gated/enclosed & secure, backyard. The dogs that stay with me are ALWAYS supervised. My eyes will be on your pet constantly, while we play at your home or mine, both inside & outside. Allow me to love & care for your precious pet, while you take care of you. Let's discuss your needs. I do offer one free meet & greet. Other than dogs, I also have experience caring for: Cats, Birds, Bunnies, Turtles, Lizards, Snakes, Hamsters, Fish, Frogs, Chickens & Plants. Most of my pet guests are small, therefore any extra frisky, playful pet, over 30 pounds may cause physical harm, even if they are just playing. I'd rather not take that chance. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant. I’m rarely away from the house for more than 2-3 hours. I will always keep my eyes on your pet, even when the pet is roaming around the backyard. My backyard has a 9 ft. high, wooden fence. I also have a double gated entry, front-yard patio. I can also provide crates if needed. My 20 pound dog is 8yrs. old and he is very mellow & well behaved. He always welcomes another dog friend, anytime. We have a trusted routine for introducing new pet guests.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up! I got my first on cat (Katniss) as a freshman in college, and she is now 12 years old and thriving well! I got my first dog (Albus) the next year and he is a 106 pounds black lab who is also doing very well. I am a teacher so I am off from June-July 20 all day, every day. I can show up on short notice and stay for extended periods if needed! My schedule for the next 2 months is extremely flexible, and I’m willing to work with your schedule as well! I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I’m very experienced caring for multiple pets in a home environment. I have a condo in Metairie a block from the levee where I can take a dog on a good walk, and my parents house in mandeville with a fenced yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. I can easily crate your dog or cat if needed, follow any specific feeding, medication, or routine instructions, and provide plenty of love, attention, and enrichment. About: Hey there- I’m Diana and I have always loved animals from the bottom of my heart. I am a Rover sitter and use Rover for sitters for my own pets when I’m out of town, so I personally understand the significance of trusting a sitter with your animals. It’s never easy to leave the fur babies at home, and so I do everything I can to make them comfortable and loved till you’re reunited. About: Since I was 7 years old, my family has loved two golden retrievers in our home in a town of Los Angeles. Rocky, our hyper and enthusiastic 1st one, was with us since I was 5 years old, and Spencer, the 2nd one I took care of, was a sweet senior dog who stayed in my family home until 2022 when he passed. My close friends and neighbors have relied on our family as the designated pet sitters for them because we love and respect dogs so much! We always think of our house as a mini dog-hotel during those times. With these experiences growing up, Rover has become the perfect place for me to help others with caring for their dogs in New Orleans. I am happy to walk/feed/bathe your pets whenever you request it too! I am currently studying for an exam for medical school. I would be happy to take study breaks as an opportunity for myself AND your pup to get some sunshine. I will be present with the dogs and take care of them to make sure your pups are happy. I like to keep my eye on dogs I’ve dogsat before, and I will be in contact if there’s anything unusual going on. I’ve let my dogs roam about the house, but if you prefer to keep them in an enclosed area, please let me know! Taking them for frequent walks or to the park is always nice too!
