“Karen is the absolute best! She made time to meet with me before the actual day I booked. She wanted Millie to know her before the sitting appointment. She provided a safe, calm environment for my dog during a loud time (fireworks) and went me pictures and updates throughout the night. Karen took such good care of Millie. I never worried while I was out. She's a doll!”

“Kendall is great! This was our second time using her, and it was nice to have the peace of mind that our dog and home were being taken great care of. She communicates well and provides updates so you feel comfortable while away.”

“My husband and I have avoided traveling for a while now because our senior dog needs extra care and love. By some magic we were lucky enough to find Cheryl!! She is kind, professional, communicative, flexible, and made both us and our old dog feel so comfortable. Our dog needs to be carried down steps to go outside, has to wear diapers, and can barely see/hear yet Cheryl was not phased one bit by all of that. We were away for almost a week and Cheryl took excellent care of our dog, sent us pictures and updates, and was a joy to be in touch with and have in our home. We came home from celebrating our anniversary and the house was sparkling - far cleaner than when we left!! Cheryl will without a doubt be our go-to pet sitter.”

“Alex was amazing! She not only came to the house before to meet Ava so she was comfortable with her, but went above and beyond taking care of her and my home. She kept me informed with how Ava was doing and treated her like her own. She was great and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter, just not on the days I need her :)”

“Lydia was great! I needed someone very last minute and she was such a relief!! She sent several photos daily and gave me frequent updates which helped me feel at ease while she was house sitting my fur fam. I will definitely hire her again!”

“Dani exceeded our expectations & came in clutch for us as our previous dog walker we books months in advance cancelled the week of our wedding. We were visiting from out of town for our wedding with our fur baby and Dani was so gracious enough to help us out on her day off by ensuring our fur baby as fed, taken out,& loved on during our wedding day. We are forever grateful for Dani :)”

“Mallory was so great with my pup! She stayed at my house while I was out of town and kept me updated. Every picture I got of my pup he looked SO happy! She is so sweet and took great care of my dog!”

“Hannah was great! My cats are a little rambunctious and like to spend the day outside and are sometimes a bit difficult to find when it comes time to come home. Hannah traversed blocks and bushes to track these little guys down to make sure they spent the night safe and sound at home! She sent lots of pictures and updates. I would definitely hire her again!”

“Carly did an amazing job watching my anxious dog, best sitter I’ve ever had! She stayed overnight and sent soo many photos and was very gentle and sweet with my nervous girl. She quickly got her to calm down and I started getting so many cute pictures of them snuggling. I will definitely be asking her to come back again!”

“Lauren and the kitties seemed to get along just fine. She was very communicative and sent pics of the babies daily. The kitties had a great time and we will definitely be using Lauren again for our house sitting needs.”

About: Hi! My name is Elyse and it would bring me so much joy to watch over and care for your furry friends!! I absolutely love dogs and their company, whether it's actively playing and going on a walk or snuggling together on couch. You'll see photos in my profile of my family dog, Charlie, who I no longer live with and miss so dearly. Having the opportunity to care for other pets is exactly why I signed up for Rover! I have 8 years of experience and a very flexible schedule! I currently work remotely/part-time, so I have lots of flexibility in my schedule to come to your house to care for your pet throughout the day! I would prefer to come to your home to care for your pet, as I feel your pet will be more comfortable in an environment they are used to.
“We have used Claire numerous as our sitter numerous times . She always does an amazing job with our pups. She is very trustworthy and we will use her again in the future.”

“Macie was great taking care of Ava during the long weekend. She went above and beyond at caring and playing with her. She even took care of the house and did way more than expected. Ava had the best time and was as happy as can be when I got home. Her communication was perfect, and I knew Ava was in good hands.”

“Nat was great! I can tell she took perfect care of Ginx. My kitty was happy and fed, the medicine was given, and everything was neat and clean! I will definitely use Nat again. I highly recommend Nat for cats, dogs, and any other pets you mat have!!!”

“Highly recommend Martha! This was my first time leaving my pup with someone I didn’t know, and she put all my worries to bed after the meet and greet. Sent daily pictures and messages, so I knew my dog was having a nice time :) Very attentive to the details I laid out and responsive to any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire experience and left my house just like it was when she arrived. I would book her again and would easily recommend her to anyone else!”

About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!
Bridge City pet parents share their Rover experiences
We don’t trust just anyone with our dogs or our home, but from the very first time we met Dani, we knew they were in the best hands. She was incredibly communicative right off the bat and took the time to ask about our preferences, even the little things that helped keep the dogs comfortable and on their normal routine. That level of care and attention made such a difference and immediately put us at ease. While we were away, Dani kept in regular contact, sending thoughtful updates and lots of pictures that made it clear our dogs were happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Coming home was such a relief! The house was spotless, everything was exactly as we left it, and our dogs were calm and content (which says everything). Dani is reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring, and it’s clear she treats pets like her own. We are so grateful to have found someone we trust completely and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter.

Blakely did an awesome job caring for my two pups for the weekend! She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures/updates. our dogs can get anxious when we leave town but they were very relaxed and happy when we arrived home so I know they had a great time and got lots of love and attention while we were gone! She also washed the towels and sheets before she left which was so thoughtful and above and beyond! Will definitely book with her again!

McCall is a wonderful Pet Sitter! She took the finest care of my pet. They were happy smiling the photos that she sent me with very nice reports of how they were. I only regret is she’s going off to vet school now. She’s going to be a great veterinarian, I can tell. Many thanks to her for the ease that I had while I was gone from my home. Everything was great when I got home.
Elizabeth was fantastic as usual! Our dogs enjoyed their time with her, and I got so many wonderful pictures of their adventures together. Elizabeth is a great communicator and followed all of our instructions to a T. Our house looked great when we got home as well!
