About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. I grew up with a lot of dogs and have recent experience with a cat of my own! I have extensive knowledge with dogs, especially puppies, and with potty training/training them. I also have knowledge of senior pets and have taken care of a few in the past. I also have experience with rescue animals, all of my own animals have been rescued. I have watched several dogs over the years and absolutely love it. I have many animals of my own including a Collie/Lab mix, Shih tzu, Husky/German shepherd mix and a tabby cat! I promise to provide the utmost care/love for your fur babies and treat them as my own! I’m currently a college student about to apply to nursing school, taking online courses currently so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am available Monday-Sunday at any available time for any needs you may need for your pet which includes walking, potty breaks, and meal time. To ensure the safety of your pet, I can safely crate if needed. I will also make sure that your pet is closely monitored at all times, adhere to their feeding/walking schedules, and separate animals safely if needed. I also know basic first aid for pets if something were ever to happen to your pet!
About: Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their parents since I was a teenager. I am comfortable walking dogs, playing with them, letting them out for bathroom breaks, feeding them, cuddling them, and administering any needed medications, just as I do with my own dog. I am also comfortable taking care of cats. I can change their litter boxes, play with them, feed them, and just hanging out more passively with them or that's what they prefer. I have two cats of my own, with very distinct personalities. I'm currently studying law in New Orleans. I am available for boarding on Fridays after 4:30pm and any time on Saturdays and Sundays. Though my pets are generally friendly with other animals, they can get nervous when there's an intrusion on their space. For that reason, I prefer to care for your pets at your own home, but I am willing to take your dog out to the park where I take my own dog for walks every weekend if you'd like. I do not require written instructions for daytime or nighttime care of cats or dogs, but they can be very helpful if there are certain routines and medications that you would like me to keep up with. For safety reasons, I will not bathe cats, but I will bathe dogs. All dogs will remain on a leash at all times when we are going out for walks, and I will bring poop bags along. I have a dog sling/car seat protector in my car for travel, but if you provide another type of car seat that you prefer, I will use that. If you have a cat, I will clean/change their litter box as frequently as you'd like, on the condition that you provide the litter and other supplies that may be needed. I do also require that you provide dog or cat food yourself, as I do not want to be responsible for any adverse reactions to changes in food, such as allergies or diarrhea. About: I have pet sat cats and dogs (as well as various reptiles and birds) of all different ages. I have 4 cats and a snake of my own with one cat that takes daily medication. I have fostered cats and assisted in senior pet care (dogs and cats). I also trained 2 of my cats and when we had dogs, I also trained them. I am happy to take care of your other pets (reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and rodents) in addition to your cats and/or dogs:) Three of my cats are fed twice a day, and my elderly cat gets 4 small meals. I work from home so am able to give my cats plenty of attention. I am fairly flexible with my routine and can easily check in on your pet(s) and walk them 2-3 times a day except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those days I have to be physically at my job so I can only check on your pet(s) in the mornings before 11am and afternoons after 4pm. My cats are treated as equal family members and have a wide range of enrichment within our house: cat trees, toys, a screened in porch, and forage puzzles. Our elderly cat is on daily medication and is showered with compliments (she is a queen and she knows it!) . I spend time every day playing with all of my cats and snuggling them as much as they like. I am incredibly gentle with animals and respect their space. I try my best to maintain a clean, stress-free environment at home and in the homes I pet sit for. I know how stressful it can be for a pet to meet someone new, so I always move at their speed and respect their comfort. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, so I’m very familiar with all the ups and downs that come with pet care. On top of that, I have experience working as a veterinary assistant where I was in charge of boarding, walking, bathing, and cleaning after all types of animals! About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs.
