About: I was raised with pets and have had a dog for over 30 years. Zara is my new sweetheart she's a shepherd husky mix and she's a year and a half old. I will only be dog sitting or dog boarding for ONE PUP at a time to give the utmost personalized attention.🐶♥️ I am retired and at this time I'm only offering drop off daycare and boarding Thursday through Sunday... We will only be outside in the cooler times of the day and can use the sprinkler if you allow. Your dog will be allowed on the couch and I am very good with giving specialized feeding as my dog has some healthy add-ons for her kibble daily. Again I will only be offering boarding and drop off dog sitting in my house... Thursday through Sunday personalized care for your dog only ♥️

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! About: For over 10 years, I’ve been the trusted pet sitter for friends and family. My duties are basically stopping in to make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, and most importantly, feel cared for while their humans are away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s going for walks, tossing a favorite toy, or just keeping them company. My experience is mostly with drop-ins and walks, and I take pride in being reliable, attentive, and making pets feel safe and happy in their own environment. I work full time, spending two to three days in the office and the rest working from home, which gives me a flexible schedule. During the week, I’m available for afternoon walks and early morning or evening drop-ins. On weekends, I can do drop-ins up to three times a day and am available for walks at almost any time. All babies get free run of my home, are allowed on furniture and I am always well stocked with toys, treats and various beds for lounging, should they so prefer. I have a large, fenced, shaded backyard and a doggie door so dogs have the option to go out any time but I also spend a lot of time outside under the gazebo watching them play.

I got my first dog (Albus) the next year and he is a 106 pounds black lab who is also doing very well. I am a teacher so I am off from June-July 20 all day, every day. I can show up on short notice and stay for extended periods if needed! My schedule for the next 2 months is extremely flexible, and I’m willing to work with your schedule as well! I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I’m very experienced caring for multiple pets in a home environment. I have a condo in Metairie a block from the levee where I can take a dog on a good walk, and my parents house in mandeville with a fenced yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. I can easily crate your dog or cat if needed, follow any specific feeding, medication, or routine instructions, and provide plenty of love, attention, and enrichment. Whether the service is at my home or yours, my goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.

I have more experience caring for cats than I do dogs.
