Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up! I got my first on cat (Katniss) as a freshman in college, and she is now 12 years old and thriving well! I got my first dog (Albus) the next year and he is a 106 pounds black lab who is also doing very well. I am a teacher so I am off from June-July 20 all day, every day. I can show up on short notice and stay for extended periods if needed! My schedule for the next 2 months is extremely flexible, and I’m willing to work with your schedule as well! I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I’m very experienced caring for multiple pets in a home environment. I have a condo in Metairie a block from the levee where I can take a dog on a good walk, and my parents house in mandeville with a fenced yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. I can easily crate your dog or cat if needed, follow any specific feeding, medication, or routine instructions, and provide plenty of love, attention, and enrichment. Our place has Security cameras 24/7 I have been around dogs all my life, and now I work as a professional dog groomer. I have my own grooming salon. We ask that you book 2 weeks ahead with us. I think communication will be the key in our working relationship. Here are somethings that I would like to know about your dog: Any separation anxiety? Is your dog trained, or crate trained as well? What they like to do? If they have any bad habits, or typical habits of their age, for example, if they like to chew on things, or eat grass. Do they have fleas or ticks, been vaccinated, and/or if they have skin allergies or any medical issues I need to be aware of? Spayed or neutered. If they prefer being inside or outside. How many times they need to go out. Their feeding schedule and how many cups? Anything that will make me aware of their needs and protect them for we all want the best for all our dogs. My house has a large yard and is fully fenced in. I live here with my father who helps me and my yorkie. I'll send pictures and will call you about your dog as you be available or want to get it. I only accept maximum 2 dogs each time. I don't appreciate dogs inside the cage (only by request) so must of the time they are free on their own separate space. I have my own grooming salon in my house, and I will be able to offer grooming services as an extra.

About: I've been around and have taken care of animals all my life. For the past 10 years, I've been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family. I also have a 4-year-old 60-pound Golden Doodle who is a gentle giant and loves company. I work part-time remotely, which allows me to house and care for animals during the day and gives me the flexibility to take on last-minute client requests. About: We are a small family with a super friendly lab-hound mix named Charlie. Charlie loves to play with other dogs and is generous with his space and toys. Our six-year-old daughter loves meeting new animals, too. Our home is fenced all around so the dogs have a circle run as well as the backyard and front porch to play and relax. We travel and have used Rover for our dog and we’re happy to be on the other side hosting and caring for your pet.
