I currently have two dogs: Wrigley, an 8-year-old Aussie, and Nova, a 6-year-old rescue Aussie/Husky mix who is blind and requires medications multiple times a day. About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up! I got my first on cat (Katniss) as a freshman in college, and she is now 12 years old and thriving well! I got my first dog (Albus) the next year and he is a 106 pounds black lab who is also doing very well. I am a teacher so I am off from June-July 20 all day, every day. I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated. I am divorced and have my sons every other week. They are in middle and high school and are confident and comfortable around dogs. However, your dog will be cared for by me. Although they will likely want to play with your dog too!
