It’s helpful to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite activities, medications, allergies, behavioral quirks, fears, and how they interact with people and other animals. I also like to know about any house rules, emergency contacts, and your veterinarian’s information. The more I know ahead of time, the more comfortable, safe, and stress-free I can make the experience for both you and your pet.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and engaged based on their individual personalities and energy levels. That can include walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, interactive toys, puzzle games, training reinforcement, play sessions, and plenty of cuddles and attention. For pets who prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy to relax with them, offer gentle affection, or keep them company. My goal is to make sure every pet has fun, feels comfortable, and gets the mental and physical stimulation they need while you’re away.
