“Where do I begin? OK so I’ve never been able to get anyone to keep out Skye because she isn’t people friendly. My best friends come to the house and have been coming to the house since I got our dog and the amount of time she has tried to attack them is insane. It has been very difficult to travel and find someone that can deal with her. A while back I use Rover when she was younger, and after about an hour, she calmed down and allowed the person to watch her. So now that our dog is much older, ehhh it’s worse. So knowing that I needed to take a vacation for eight days, I had no hope. I did not know what to do with her. So I jumped on Rover and went through all the options. I seen Ben’s name five times and kept passing it up, but God kept sending me back to his name. Honestly, it was a reason why. I contacted Ben and begin to have a conversation with him and naturally, I kept getting the aura that he was the right person for our Skye. Oh boy was I correct. On the day of drop off, I was super nervous for Ben. I warned him a lot of times that she may try to attack him and to just be prepared and be patient. He has nothing but patience. He believed in his ability to be able to handle her before he even met her. His calm presence is nothing short of amazing. So when we arrive to his home, I slowly took Skye out out of the car and began to walk to Ben. I’m not going to lie, I was extremely nervous. Skye sniffed around his yard with no aggression and not one time tried to attack Ben. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Been allowed her to freely come to him. He calmly greeted her and instantaneously, they bonded. This is something that has never been able to take place with my Skye. For this, I am giving him 1 million stars. If you have a pup that is full of anxiety and it’s always snapping at people, I promise you, if you select Ben to be your caretaker, you will never regret it. I truly appreciate you. I really really do. He sent pictures, gave me updates, and never once made me feel like I was a burden with asking questions.”

About: I started dog-sitting in college. I've taken care of blind senior dogs, puppies, adult dogs, not to mention guinea pigs, chinchillas, cats, turtles...the list goes on!! “It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. What they like to do? If they have any bad habits, or typical habits of their age, for example, if they like to chew on things, or eat grass. Do they have fleas or ticks, been vaccinated, and/or if they have skin allergies or any medical issues I need to be aware of? Spayed or neutered. If they prefer being inside or outside. How many times they need to go out. Their feeding schedule and how many cups? Anything that will make me aware of their needs and protect them for we all want the best for all our dogs. My house has a large yard and is fully fenced in. I live here with my father who helps me and my yorkie. I'll send pictures and will call you about your dog as you be available or want to get it. I only accept maximum 2 dogs each time. I don't appreciate dogs inside the cage (only by request) so must of the time they are free on their own separate space. I have my own grooming salon in my house, and I will be able to offer grooming services as an extra.

About: I have pet sat cats and dogs (as well as various reptiles and birds) of all different ages. I have 4 cats and a snake of my own with one cat that takes daily medication. I have fostered cats and assisted in senior pet care (dogs and cats). I also trained 2 of my cats and when we had dogs, I also trained them. I am very experienced with administering medication and caring for pets of different ages! I am happy to take care of your other pets (reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and rodents) in addition to your cats and/or dogs:) Three of my cats are fed twice a day, and my elderly cat gets 4 small meals. I work from home so am able to give my cats plenty of attention. I am fairly flexible with my routine and can easily check in on your pet(s) and walk them 2-3 times a day except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those days I have to be physically at my job so I can only check on your pet(s) in the mornings before 11am and afternoons after 4pm. My cats are treated as equal family members and have a wide range of enrichment within our house: cat trees, toys, a screened in porch, and forage puzzles. Our elderly cat is on daily medication and is showered with compliments (she is a queen and she knows it!) . I spend time every day playing with all of my cats and snuggling them as much as they like. I am incredibly gentle with animals and respect their space. I try my best to maintain a clean, stress-free environment at home and in the homes I pet sit for. I know how stressful it can be for a pet to meet someone new, so I always move at their speed and respect their comfort. About: I have always lived with dogs since I was a small child. The last 8 years I have been house/dog sitting for a retired couple with multiple dogs. This past May I lost my 16 year old rat terrier- broke my heart. Shortly after a relative asked me to keep his chocolate lab for a week and I loved it. I miss having a dog at the house! I got my first dog (Albus) the next year and he is a 106 pounds black lab who is also doing very well. I am a teacher so I am off from June-July 20 all day, every day. I can show up on short notice and stay for extended periods if needed! My schedule for the next 2 months is extremely flexible, and I’m willing to work with your schedule as well! I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I’m very experienced caring for multiple pets in a home environment. I have a condo in Metairie a block from the levee where I can take a dog on a good walk, and my parents house in mandeville with a fenced yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. I can easily crate your dog or cat if needed, follow any specific feeding, medication, or routine instructions, and provide plenty of love, attention, and enrichment. Whether the service is at my home or yours, my goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.

“Where do I begin? OK so I’ve never been able to get anyone to keep out Skye because she isn’t people friendly. My best friends come to the house and have been coming to the house since I got our dog and the amount of time she has tried to attack them is insane. It has been very difficult to travel and find someone that can deal with her. A while back I use Rover when she was younger, and after about an hour, she calmed down and allowed the person to watch her. So now that our dog is much older, ehhh it’s worse. So knowing that I needed to take a vacation for eight days, I had no hope. I did not know what to do with her. So I jumped on Rover and went through all the options. I seen Ben’s name five times and kept passing it up, but God kept sending me back to his name. Honestly, it was a reason why. I contacted Ben and begin to have a conversation with him and naturally, I kept getting the aura that he was the right person for our Skye. Oh boy was I correct. On the day of drop off, I was super nervous for Ben. I warned him a lot of times that she may try to attack him and to just be prepared and be patient. He has nothing but patience. He believed in his ability to be able to handle her before he even met her. His calm presence is nothing short of amazing. So when we arrive to his home, I slowly took Skye out out of the car and began to walk to Ben. I’m not going to lie, I was extremely nervous. Skye sniffed around his yard with no aggression and not one time tried to attack Ben. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Been allowed her to freely come to him. He calmly greeted her and instantaneously, they bonded. This is something that has never been able to take place with my Skye. For this, I am giving him 1 million stars. If you have a pup that is full of anxiety and it’s always snapping at people, I promise you, if you select Ben to be your caretaker, you will never regret it. I truly appreciate you. I really really do. He sent pictures, gave me updates, and never once made me feel like I was a burden with asking questions.”
“Iryna is fantastic. I could tell immediately that she and her family love animals. Her pup was super sweet when we arrived, so that was a bonus. This was our first time booking with Iryna, which I can find a little stressful. I had nothing to worry about bc she put me at ease immediately. She had great communication throughout the entire stay and kept us updated with plenty of pictures. She noticed a wound on our pup that we weren’t aware of, cleaned and treated it, and let us know right away. We also had a last minute medication request for a separate issue, and she was incredibly accommodating without hesitation. It was clear that she cared for our guy like he was her own. About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.
