About: I was raised with pets and have had a dog for over 30 years. Zara is my new sweetheart she's a shepherd husky mix and she's a year and a half old. I will only be dog sitting or dog boarding for ONE PUP at a time to give the utmost personalized attention.🐶♥️ I am retired and at this time I'm only offering drop off daycare and boarding Thursday through Sunday... We will only be outside in the cooler times of the day and can use the sprinkler if you allow. Your dog will be allowed on the couch and I am very good with giving specialized feeding as my dog has some healthy add-ons for her kibble daily. Again I will only be offering boarding and drop off dog sitting in my house... Thursday through Sunday personalized care for your dog only ♥️
“Flynn had a great stay with Regina! He is special needs and requires someone to give him medication 4 times daily. She was able to adjust her schedule to make sure she could accommodate this. She wanted to do a meet and greet before which I really appreciated. She always responded right away to any messages I sent, and she kept in touch daily sending pictures of Flynn! He was the only dog she had at the time which was perfect. I would love to be able to have Flynn stay with her again and would absolutely recommend her care to anyone with a special needs dog! Thank you, Regina!”

“Serena was incredible. She was very responsive, flexible to some of my last minute schedule changes, and really sweet with my dogs. I have zero complaints and would absolutely recommend her!”

“Julia was amazing with my dog! Ellie can be very shy and anxious, but Julia was warm and open to whatever support Ellie needed. She sent regular updates and pictures, and I appreciated knowing Ellie was in good hands and doing well while her human was away. Highly recommended!”

“ I'm so glad that Jeaux and I had the opportunity to book with Ms. Elena. She also has a Toy Chihuahua named Paco and they became like "three peas in a pod!” My drop-off day was very hectic and behind schedule due to me preparing to go out of town, but Ms.Elena was pleasant and patient with me. When we arrived to her home, we were welcomed into a beautiful, clean space with Southern Hospitality galore! During the stay she emailed me updates along with pics and videos of their playtime. Once I arrived home she offered to meet me at a convenient location to drop-off my baby, that she now calls “her baby”, since we lived a bit of a distance from one another. Sooo sweet...but that's not the best part. When I received Jeaux he had been bathed, his bed and towel washed and she even sent him home with his favorite toy from the visit! If you want someone to treat your dog like their own, this is the place. My experience with Ms. Elena was pleasant from start to finish and I would highly recommend her services. Jeaux gives her two paws up :)”

“Shelby and mom were SO good with my baby girls!! First or second night of their stay, my girls got into a squabble and one had a little cut to her face. They handled it like pros and can’t even tell anything happened!”
“Natalie was amazing! We booked with her to board our dog for a weekend while we’re were in town visiting. She sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay which we really appreciated! She took great care of our dog and we’re so thankful :)”

“Gina took great care of our dog while we were on vacation. She provided pictures and updates which made us feel at ease because this was our first time using this service. I will definitely book Gina again.”

“I really liked how we did a meet and greet before she agreed to watch my dog to make sure our doggos got along. My dog had such a good time playing with her dog Pearl that my dog was exhausted by the time she got home. I also appreciated all the photos and videos she sent.”

About: Hi! We’re Seth and Farrah, the team behind 504Doghouse. We’ve both grown up around animals our entire lives, and together we bring a wide range of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and even farm animals. We love what we do and treat every pet like family. ⸻ Our Pet Care Experience From Seth: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, but my lifelong dog Phoebe — a miniature schnauzer — taught me what it really means to care for a pet from childhood through adulthood. Later, I fostered a high-energy Lab/Pit mix named Bella, who showed me how different breeds have different needs, personalities, and training styles. After serving in the military, I rescued my dog Deku, a border collie–schnauzer mix who learned full obedience and trick training within months. I’ve also helped raise my brother’s Catahoula/Blue Heeler mix, Snoop — another high-energy, intelligent dog who taught me how to handle rough play and stubborn behavior. I’ve worked at Petco handling small animals, volunteered at shelters, and now regularly walk dogs, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. From Farrah: I’ve cared for cats and dogs my entire life, and my Boston Terrier — who I walked and ran with for over 10 years — shaped my understanding of daily pet care, consistency, and companionship. As an adult, I fostered a kitten for almost a year and have been house-sitting for the past 3 years. I’ve cared for up to 4 cats, 2 dogs (large and small), and even goats and chickens for the family I regularly house sit for. Managing different species and routines has taught me how to stay organized, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. ⸻ What We Offer ✔️ Safe, fun, controlled walks ✔️ Drop-ins with detailed updates and photos ✔️ Experience with high-energy breeds, seniors, and multi-pet homes ✔️ Respect for your home and your pet’s routine ✔️ A reliable two-person team for added flexibility and attention We’re patient, energetic, and passionate about giving every pet the care they deserve. Whether your pet is playful, shy, anxious, or full of energy, we’re great at meeting them where they are and helping them feel comfortable and loved. Pet care fits easily into our weekly routine because we both have flexible schedules. Here’s how we manage our availability: • Seth works part-time, which leaves plenty of open hours during the day for walks and drop-ins. • Farrah is currently pregnant and stays at home, so she’s almost always available to give consistent attention and care. • Walks are offered between 9 AM–6 PM. • Drop-ins are available until 8 PM. • Weekends and special situations can be accommodated upon request. • Because there are two of us, we’re able to provide reliable coverage, flexibility, and quick communication. We keep our schedule open to make sure your pet’s routine stays steady, stress-free, and well cared for. We take safety and trust seriously in every situation. When we’re caring for pets in your home, we follow your routines exactly, keep doors and gates secured, use your preferred equipment, and make sure everything is clean and locked up before we leave. For walks and drop-ins, we use safe, controlled walking practices, avoid risky dog interactions, watch weather conditions, and always keep your pet on leash. We send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. Overall, we treat every pet like our own. With two of us working together, your pet gets reliable attention, consistency, and a calm, safe environment every time.
“My pup stayed with Ellen for two weeks and had a wonderful time. She sent lots of photos and updates and took him on walks on Magazine street for stimulation. Was very responsive to my dog’s individual needs. We would def recommend Ellen!”
“Michael and Rachel took absolutely wonderful care of my dog Gizmo while I was away! From the moment we met, I could tell they genuinely love animals and treat them like family. They were attentive, responsible, and incredibly kind — sending me regular updates and photos that made me feel completely at ease. Gizmo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. It’s such a relief to know he was in such caring and capable hands. I highly recommend Michael and Rachel to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate dog sitters!”

“Our puppy had a very successful first boarding experience with Michael. He was very quick to respond to my texts about her and sent great photographs of her while she was in his care. Liked the one dog policy as SOPHIE was just a year old not experienced with stranger dogs.”

“We felt comfortable leaving Luna in good hands. Ms Gabrielle was very accommodating with our schedules and we look forward to having Luna stay with her family in the future.”

“Claire was an absolute gem! My dog was immediately comfortable around her & had a great stay! Claire was super attentive & sent pics every day. Exceeded my expectations!”

We couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing care our dog received! We needed a sitter at the last minute, and they were incredibly accommodating and welcoming. From the moment we dropped our dog off, we knew they were in great hands. She kept us updated throughout the stay, and it was clear our pup was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing we could enjoy our trip without worrying. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and trustworthy to care for your pet, we highly recommend them. We’ll definitely be booking with them again in the future!

Olivia was AMAZING! The amount of care and attention to detail she provided for my baby was top tier. I loved the periodic updates and photos Olivia provided me. I will book Olivia again and again because she cared for my dog the same way I do and that’s what’s important to me. Thank you Olivia, you are a God-send!!!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Llairam was such a good host to our goldendoodle while we were away! She sent daily updates and made our girl feel calm and loved away from home. Would highly recommend, especially for a dog that loves a little extra attention and cuddles! Would definitely book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
