“Cheryn was great with Missy. Missy had some separation anxiety as well as a little bit of fear of another dog but Cheryn handled it all incredibly well and we knew Missy was in good hands as always!”

“My pugs seemed to have a great time and my playful boy was so tired once he got home from all the playing he got to do with the other dogs. Stacey was so nice to accomodate be on short notice then again we we didn't get in until very late by keeping them the next day. Great Stay!”

“I felt full trust to leave my baby boy with Katherine and her husband. They both work from home so plenty of attention for the pups and Grits had a great time. Great people!”

“Lynn took such great care of our dog Lucy! She has an awesome large fenced in yard and our girl looked so happy in all the pics and videos that were sent throughout the week. Will definitely go to Lynn again and highly recommend her!”
“Another great stay Mike. I really love how he understands my dachshund’s behavior so well. I have absolutely no worries when boarding there and know my dog is always happy, healthy, and safe with Mike. Any pet with Mike is in good hands!”

“Our family LOVES Melissa! Melissa asked all the right questions to really get to know Rookie prior to his stay. She is so organized and her love for dogs definitely show. Her home has plenty of space and has a nice enclosed backyard to keep your furry friends safe. It looked like Rookie settled in pretty fast. Rookie stayed a week with Melissa and she gave updates each day which reassured us that Rookie was in such loving care. Thank you so much Melissa!”

“Chayanne was great with my best friend Phil. He came home happy and healthy and appropriately tired. She was super flexible with my schedule changes and a good communicator. Recommend!”

“Both Ruby & Dexter enjoyed the time with Demaris and family. The home and garden/yard are lovely plus both of my dogs got a lot of attention and pampering. I hate to admit it, my dogs looked and smelled better when I picked them up than when I dropped them off 😆”

“Very responsive and knowledgeable of each personal dog's needs. My two pit bulls can be difficult to take care of with one being extra nervous, anxious, and hyper and the other one being aggressive not getting along with any other dogs. Tyrone was able to keep my dogs active by letting them play in his yard and also taking them on walks each day while keeping them very safe. I would defiantly recommend his services and will be using him again.”

“Amy is very nice and helpful. She was easy to get in touch and willing to accommodate our busy schedule. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. She sent us lots of pictures and it looks like my dog had a great time. Peanut butter, her dog, is very sweet and got along well with my dog.”

“This was my first time ever leaving my dog with a sitter and it couldn't have been a better experience. Serena and AJ were very communicative and responsible. Received daily updates and pictures of Remi which really put my mind at ease. Highly recommend!”

“Ellen is always awesome with our puppies. My little Yorkshire jumps to her arms every time he sees her and this is for me a great confirmation of how well treated they are.”

“Always a 5-star experience with Regina! My senior dog Ducky is skittish and definitely has a lot of opinions about the world, but Regina understands her right away and treats her like family. Even after a two-week stay, Ducky came back happy, healthy, and totally herself. No issues at all! I really appreciate Regina’s care and dedication.”

“Kate went above and beyond with our two cats that we had to leave for an extended amount of time. We received multiple updates and fun photos each visit. It gave us such peace of mind to know they were safe and being well taken care of. She even updated us on weather conditions and helped prepare our home for an upcoming storm when we couldn’t return home in time. We will definitely be rebooking Kate in the future and know our two boys will be very excited to see us go!”
“Cody went above and beyond caring for my rabbit. She sent many pictures twice a day during the drop in visits and it helped me feel at ease while being away on a 10 day trip. I sent her long instructions and she followed them perfectly. There are not many sitters I have trusted with my pets, but she genuinely cares for animals and is 100% reliable, safe, and respectful.”

About: I started dog-sitting in college. I've taken care of blind senior dogs, puppies, adult dogs, not to mention guinea pigs, chinchillas, cats, turtles...the list goes on!! I work from home, so I can take my laptop anywhere! I do have a strict work schedule, but it doesn't matter where I am. I treat my pets like they're my kids, so your pets would be like my nieces and nephews...lots of fun but I'll give 'em back!! When dog-sitting in your home, I try to leave everything just as you left it.

“Celeste was so sweet! We felt very comfortable having her watch our cat while we were out of town. She was super accommodating and we loved the photos that she sent us. We will definitely book with Celeste again.”

“we love lindsey! she takes care of my fur babies so kindly. she sends pictures so you can see your little one is loving life which makes my day to see. i’d say book her up for everything, but not too much because margaritas and peaches need her attention and love just as well! 🤗”

“Mimi did such a great job taking care of our Lulu! We loved the visit updates and pictures. She seemed very happy upon our return and we owe it all to Mimi! Will definitely rebook. 😊”

About: I’m happy to sit or check in on your fur baby. I currently help with my boyfriend’s rescue cat and have pet sit for friends in the past. I can do medicines, special diets, whatever you need.

About: Even though I fostered a cat for a little under a year, I adhered to required health visits, cleaned the litter box daily, and even groomed the cat. I did all of things in order to find a good home for the fostered kitty, and I will do it all again!
“Very grateful! I had to find a sitter last minute and I lucked out finding Olivia. She took really good care of my lil kitty boy, was very communicative, and my cat warmed up to her pretty quickly. Highly recommend! Thank you, thank you :)”

About: I have a calm demeanor that appeals to all sorts of animal personalities. In the past i’ve volunteered with Zues' Rescue and I’m generally the go to pet care friend :) I’m a school counselor, so during the school year I am available after school and on weekends. During the summer, I am available 24/7. I can make exceptions if I am on PTO, holidays, etc. I make sure to observe an animals natural routine. Where they like their toys to be, their food dishes, etc. I am especially understanding of animals who may have experienced trauma and have triggers; I make sure to meet them at their level when I approach, speak quietly, etc.

“Jared was great while housesitting and watching my cats! He is kind, responsive, and trustworthy. I came home to a clean house and happy kitties :) would definitely use him again for my next trip!”

“Carson did a great job of taking care of our 2 kittens while we were out of town for a few days!! She was so flexible and even helped out our friends by watching their kitten (from the same litter) at our house at the same time! I’m so glad they got so much playtime and entertainment, I don’t even think they noticed we were gone!”
About: ---> Sorry, I do NOT accept most spunky, young dogs Over 30 pounds. Most of the small pets I care for cannot physically handle playing with most dogs over 30 pounds. There's no setting for that weight on Rover. (Unless your pet is an elder and/or they're very mellow) <--- My name is Melissa (aka. "Missy"). I'd like to care for your precious pet the next time you need some help. Do you have somewhere to go, or something to do? Let me help you, at your place or mine!?! You can book your pet for a caring, one hour, drop-in visit to your home, a few overnight visits, or an extended stay at my house. Do you need help at the last minute ... ? No problem. I'm happy to provide pet transportation, if needed. I can also help you fulfill the rules & requirements at a "Pet-Friendly" NOLa hotel, when the rules say, “you cannot leave your pet in the hotel room alone”. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant - This means your precious pet will NEVER be left alone for long hours, whenever they're in my care. I will be at your pet's side, while you take care of business or if you have a fun get-away planned. I’m very comfortable with many different animals & dog breeds, including elderly dogs that need a mellow, safe space with calm, gentle care. I pay close attention to what your dog likes & dis-likes, along with their personality quirks & individual needs. I enjoy caring for all animals, both young & old. I do not accept more than 2-3 dogs at a time. ((I USUALLY only schedule ONE family's pet(s) at the same time, especially if there’s a new dog client)). I always put in a great deal of consideration, before scheduling more than one family's pet at the same time. My home is very spacious, clean, well-organized & safe. I have a large, gated/enclosed & secure, backyard. The dogs that stay with me are ALWAYS supervised. My eyes will be on your pet constantly, while we play at your home or mine, both inside & outside. Allow me to love & care for your precious pet, while you take care of you. Let's discuss your needs. I do offer one free meet & greet. Other than dogs, I also have experience caring for: Cats, Birds, Bunnies, Turtles, Lizards, Snakes, Hamsters, Fish, Frogs, Chickens & Plants. Most of my pet guests are small, therefore any extra frisky, playful pet, over 30 pounds may cause physical harm, even if they are just playing. I'd rather not take that chance. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant. I’m rarely away from the house for more than 2-3 hours. I will always keep my eyes on your pet, even when the pet is roaming around the backyard. My backyard has a 9 ft. high, wooden fence. I also have a double gated entry, front-yard patio. I can also provide crates if needed. My 20 pound dog is 8yrs. old and he is very mellow & well behaved. He always welcomes another dog friend, anytime. We have a trusted routine for introducing new pet guests.

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“Ellen took great care of Milo for daycare for a day. Milo seemed like he had a great time with Ellen and the other dogs. Ellen was very easy to communicate with and sent us plenty of adorable photos so we felt very comfortable leaving Milo with her. Thank you, Ellen!”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

“Melissa is the exact kind of person you can trust leaving your fur baby with. I felt very comfortable at her spacious tidy place and I know my puppy did too. She took him outside nearly every hour since he’s only 3 months. She sent updates with pictures and was flexible with pick up time since it was a group event I was attending. I will definitely request Melissa next time I’m in or around Berkeley :)”

“She was great! My dog needed a sitter for the day and she had no problems at all Cheyanne sent update pictures, had friends to play with, and was super happy way dropping off and picking up! Will definitely be returning!”

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

“Elizabeth (Beth) is a rare gem—someone who genuinely loves and understands dogs, and it shows in every moment she spends with them. She cared for Louis as if he were her own beloved pet, and the bond between them was instant. I haven’t seen Louis this happy in months; the moment he saw Beth, his whole body lit up with joy. During his visit, Louis not only had Beth’s warm attention but also enjoyed time with a sweet furry friend. Beth is incredibly personable and has a natural gift with animals—a gift she generously shares. I usually feel stressed at work worrying about Louis, but this time I felt completely at ease. Beth kept me updated with regular check-ins, adorable photos, and fun videos of Louis living his best life! Beth’s level of care, communication, and kindness is unmatched. It’s no surprise she stays booked—people like her are rare. Louis and I can’t wait for his next stay with her!”

“Wendy took such great care of my puppy. As a new pet owner, Wendy put my mind at ease and made sure I was comfortable and that Daisy felt safe and had a great time. I loved the updates and could tell Daisy didn’t miss me at all because she was having so much fun. We’ll definitely be back!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.
“Michael took care of our King Charles Cavalier, Sadie, for a day during our stay in NOLA. We were amazed at how well Sadie bonded with Michael, who obviously adores dogs and immediately put Sadie at ease. Michael also bathed Sadie at our request, which was extra special. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend Michael and are happy to know that if ever we need a puppy sitters in NOLA, Michael is the perfect person.”

About: I previously worked at an animal shelter for three years. I handled all dogs and cats, the nice and the not so very nice. I had over 20 adoptions of dogs alone, with two aggressive dogs changed to happy puppies. I currently own a dog who is absolutely great I’m a dog lover. I’m a stay at home mommy, I take care of my son and my 1 year old pup. I’m pretty flexible on time. If I’m not able to do specific dates, I will mark them as unavailable to help assist with booking times. Please ensure that your pet is good with babies and other dogs before hand. I do not want to have any issues between the dogs that will cause harm to my baby. I have a fenced in yard, and I also have a block that I walk my pup around. If you have specifics for your pet, please let me know. I am pretty easy going when it comes to the proper care for your fur baby!

“Emily was so awesome and accommodating!! I will be booking again. She sent me pictures all day and that made me feel safe with her truly. It’s hard to leave your fur baby but she made it easy. 💕 book with Emily, your dog will be so happy.”

“We are so grateful we found Pauline! We were traveling through the New Orleans Area for Jazz fest and needed some day care for our dog Charlie. We’ve never used Rover before and were super apprehensive, but Pauline offered a meet and greet beforehand which made us feel so much better. Charlie loved staying with Pauline. She did such a great job taking care of him, he can’t wait to go back! Thank you Pauline for your thoughtfulness and dedication to our little guy, you made our day so much more enjoyable knowing he was safe with you!”

“We seriously cannot recommend Madison enough. She was absolutely incredible with our boys! She made us so at ease when visiting from out of town and even got our senior dog to play 🥹 She went above and beyond with her updates & photos and I truly know they were so loved with her. Thank you so much Madison, our new go-to New Orleans sitter!!”

About: We are a small family with a super friendly lab-hound mix named Charlie. Charlie loves to play with other dogs and is generous with his space and toys. Our six-year-old daughter loves meeting new animals, too. Our home is fenced all around so the dogs have a circle run as well as the backyard and front porch to play and relax. We travel and have used Rover for our dog and we’re happy to be on the other side hosting and caring for your pet. I have volunteer experience with multiple animal shelters and experience caring for both healthy pets and animals with special needs. The other side of our double shotgun is currently unoccupied so we have additional space to separate dogs if need be.
“My husband Emile and I were very pleased and grateful for the care that Damaris and Jose’ provided our Emma! You can tell that they are animal lovers and treated her like their own! They have a lovely home and yard and sent pictures and videos of her stay. In the past, Emma has been cared for by family members. It’s nice to know that we have someone else turn to!”

About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!

I provide updates, follow instructions closely, and prioritize your pet’s safety and well being at all times. With summer break coming up, I’ll have significantly more availability and flexibility throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop ins, and house sitting. I can accommodate more daytime care during the summer. I’m reliable with scheduling and make sure your pet gets the time, attention, and consistency they need. I will always follow your pet’s routine closely. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, attentive, and make sure your pet feels secure and cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of 2 Belgian Malinois for 5 years where I’ve had to administer medication, train, switch up diet planning, and do basic grooming. I currently own a betta fish and red eared slider turtle due to renting restrictions. I currently work part time at 2 different jobs, however I can make my own schedule at both. I’m also a full time RN student, but we do have summer breaks. My schedule does fluctuate, however I am usually available consistently early mornings and in the evening time every day. My schedule will reflect when I am available. I’ve worked with multiple high maintenance that require lots of activity throughout the day, so my check ins are more in depth with feeding, potty time, and play time. I also understand boundaries, and rituals, as I’ve spent lots of time with pets of different ages and activity levels.
“I can’t recommend Cody enough. She is a pet charmer. My 2 dogs and cat warmed to her quickly, she is an excellent communicator, and has a gentle presence. My one dog was nervous and hid before the first walk. Cody spent 30 min gently coaxing her out. After the first walk, all 3 of my animals were comfortable and happy. She sat with them after every walk for extra minutes and shared great pics with me. I will always check her availability first in the future”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. Pet care easily fits my routine, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pets specific needs and schedule.your pets comfort and routine will always come first. I believe pets are most comfortable and relaxed in their own home, which is why I only offer care in the clients space. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would expect in return. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities.

“Cristina has been wonderful caring for our 8 year old 70lb Nova Scotia Duck Toller Retriever! She is reliable & caring, and sends updates with every walk & home visit. Our dog is not great with other dogs, and can pull on the leash at times, so initially I was worried if she was comfortable with a bigger dog. All worries melted away with her first visit. She even shows my cats some love (not part of the assignment) and takes in my mail. We will definitely hire her again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs starting at age 8 with 4 Dobermans. I’ve always had a fur baby in my home and trained them myself. From a young age, I’m very comfortable with giving anyone’s pet the love and affection they deserve in moments when your schedule gets the best of you! Before I moved into my new apartment, I was up in the morning for my “Doggie and Me” walks. After class in the afternoon to feed and exercise her again, as well as nighttime potty time. I’m very flexible with my schedule meaning I’ll try my hardest to be there for your pet when you need it most. I no longer have a crate in my home or a fenced yard, however I’m happy to give your pet free range in my home with leased walks around the Uptown Neighborhood. Im comfortable with drop-in visits as well if your fur baby feels best in the comfort of their own home.

About: I've had and still own multiple dogs. My British Labrador, Cinder, is a trained service dog, and a ball of energy! He greatly enjoys interacting with other dogs and making new friends. His breed is low-maintenance, but his lifestyle is not. Lilly Lynn, my eldest canine, is extremely high maintenance; I have extensive experience in working with this type of dog personality, and Lilly and her friends have seemed to enjoy my pampering them. Experienced dog trainer, focused on positive reinforcement only - basic training (sit, stay, down, off, etc.) is offered. Dog lover! Flexible scheduling with drop-ins and walks. With owners permission, dogs can swim in large pool. If your animal likes to run alongside to bicycle, we can replace a walk with a ride!
About: I’ve always been an animal lover and dogs especially are the key to my heart. I love staying active so your dog will be running and walking with me consistently. Snuggles are a must and lots of fun activities will be happening when your dog is with me! I am starting PA school in the fall, so these next few months are my last to do what I love. I want to be outside and care for dogs who need some extra love! I want to make them a part of my everyday routine and show up for them if their owner’s are busy! I rescued a pitbull almost two years ago and he’s seriously my best friend. He was abandoned by his previous owners so I have really tried to always make him feel safe, wanted, and loved. He’s my whole world so I want to make sure your dog’s feel nothing but loved and safe with me as well.
About: I love caring for cats and keeping them company. I have house/cat sitted in New York, San Juan, Santo Domingo, Rome, Copenhagen and Los Angeles. I am a freelance musician and I currently work part time doing deliveries mostly at night so my schedule is flexible to accommodate any needs. Most of my free time is during the day and then after 10pm. I take time to get to know your pets and discuss if they have special needs. I like to meet them when the owner is present, so they feel safe and we can talk about the interactions.
About: Growing up with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs, I have a wide array of pet care experience for animal friends large and small. Frequent dogwalker and pet-sitter with extensive knowledge of care practices. I am a remote worker and student in my day-to-day life, so I can frequently care for pets in my off-time in between classes and while working at home. I will be open in my communication about any issues or special needs that pets will need and trust that clients will communicate any special needs to me.
About: I have experience in various dog sitting/walking/bathing environments. Friends, neighbors, and family members have consistently relied on me to help with their pets. I am a student at Tulane University and have time to help with your dogs on weekdays and weekends. I can work around my class schedule, depending on your needs. I am off and available anytime in the summer and on holidays. I love to play with and walk dogs! I will provide love and caring while you are away, as though your "babies" are my own! (I have a teacup Maltese named Nola, but I love all breeds).

“I have a pretty nervous Pitty and Lindsay has been wonderful with him. He has really opened up to her and looks forward to his walks. He doesn’t like a lot of people, but he likes Lindsay!”

“I felt full trust to leave my baby boy with Katherine and her husband. They both work from home so plenty of attention for the pups and Grits had a great time. Great people!”

“Jon took amazing care of my dog! Sent videos and picture updates. Gave me a tour of his house and yard so I knew my dog would be comfortable. Can’t recommend Jon enough”

“Chayanne was great with my best friend Phil. He came home happy and healthy and appropriately tired. She was super flexible with my schedule changes and a good communicator. Recommend!”

“Natalie was amazing! We booked with her to board our dog for a weekend while we’re were in town visiting. She sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay which we really appreciated! She took great care of our dog and we’re so thankful :)”

“Iryna took wonderful care of my cat for 3 weeks. :) From the meet and greet, to the day I came back to pick her up, Iryna and her amazing family made sure my cat was comfortable in their home and well taken care of the entire time. Thank you sooo so much!!”

“Julia is a fantastic dog sitter. We felt SO comfortable leaving our dog with her. She has two dogs of her own so she very clearly “gets it” and she went above and beyond to make us feel like Duke was in good hands.”

“Ben was easy to work with and Rosie came home exhausted- not easy to do with my super high energy aussiedoodle. He was able to accommodate a last minute reservation, which was super appreciated! I would definitely use him again!”

“I really liked how we did a meet and greet before she agreed to watch my dog to make sure our doggos got along. My dog had such a good time playing with her dog Pearl that my dog was exhausted by the time she got home. I also appreciated all the photos and videos she sent.”

“Lisa and Gizzy took great care of our Charlie! He can be a nervous nelly, but they put him at ease quickly as if he was part of the family from day one. Pics and updates were sent regularly. We are so grateful to have found you as Charlie’s home away from home!”

“My whole experience with Madison was wonderful from the beginning to the end. She was incredibly quick to schedule with and very easy to locate. She sent daily updates of Rosie Posie having the time of her life from playing in the back yard, walking the neighborhood, or getting cozy with the humans of the house inside. I am thoroughly impressed with Madison’s amount of quality time spent with my pet and will definitely be using her again in the near future.”

“Blake was amazing. She was available to take Luna last minute and Luna took to her really well. She was also really conveniently close to home about 4 mins from the house. Would definitely book again and recommend”

“Anna took great care of our dog Rex! She sent daily updates, and I know Rex enjoyed his time with her adorable Corbin :) Anna was flexible with drop off and pickup times and offered to pickup extra food for Rex. I will definitely reach out again!”

“Shannon went above and beyond for my two girls who are senior doggos with special needs. She truly treated them as her own and I absolutely will be using her again. I feel very lucky that I was able to have her be their sitter, thank you so much Shannon!”
