About: Hi! I’m 18 and a student at Loyola University New Orleans. I started pet sitting through Rover this summer and have already had the opportunity to care for many different dogs and cats. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, giving lots of attention, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m responsible, reliable, and truly love spending time with animals! I take my dogs for walks every day around noon to make sure they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. I also feed my dogs and cats twice a day (morning & night) and stick to a consistent routine to keep them happy and healthy. I’m home for the summer, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the care and attention they deserve. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their environment. I follow all instructions closely and keep pets on their normal routines, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I maintain a clean and safe space, pay attention to their behavior, and make sure they feel relaxed and loved. I treat every pet like they’re my own.

About: I’ve taken care of 2 Belgian Malinois for 5 years where I’ve had to administer medication, train, switch up diet planning, and do basic grooming. I currently own a betta fish and red eared slider turtle due to renting restrictions. I currently work part time at 2 different jobs, however I can make my own schedule at both. I’m also a full time RN student, but we do have summer breaks. My schedule does fluctuate, however I am usually available consistently early mornings and in the evening time every day. My schedule will reflect when I am available. I’ve worked with multiple high maintenance that require lots of activity throughout the day, so my check ins are more in depth with feeding, potty time, and play time. I also understand boundaries, and rituals, as I’ve spent lots of time with pets of different ages and activity levels.

About: Ive pet sit since I was 14, both paid and unpaid, and I love it! I have experience with difficult dogs/cats (multiple high energy pups in one home) and a moody pet does not scare me off. Currently, 30 hours, of my week (~5hrs a day) is spent at my job at a cafe. Outside of that I can fit your fur baby into my schedule before or after work or on my off days! I never work late and my schedule is very flexible Being able to read the body language of your pup/kitty is a crucial skill that I have a lot of experience in. Being in your home, I know Im in their space

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I currently am a Mother of 3 human children(1 grown) and 4-four legged sons and daughters. I also substitute teach. I have a bachelors degree from UNO. I have reliable transportation and am trustworthy. My pets live indoors but can play supervised outdoors. I also walk them on a leash daily. I can usually get cats to love me within 5 minutes or less 🐶🐱

About: I have loved and cared for dogs and cats for over 35 years. Although I've been away from Rover for a while, I'm eager to resume pet care. I have a passion for making sure your pet gets the best TLC possible in any given situation. I've had dogs, cats, and others in home and farm/ranch settings over the years. Your pets are family to you and will be treated like family by me. I can take excellent care of them and make sure they stay happy while in my care. I am excited to meet and give your pet the love, care, and attention they need. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to take excellent care of your pets. I'm available mornings, early afternoons, and later evenings (9pm onward). I'm available for sittings and drop-ins at the moment. I'm adaptible and happy to give care and communication according to your preferences. A meet and greet is a must to make sure everyone is on the same page and is a great fit.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I love high energy animals and taking care of them. I grew up with a dog and cat I still have and care for and more recently I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society, I even ended up starting my own club of volunteers in high school. This role has equipped me with all sorts of animal care skills such as cleaning after them, bathing them, feeding them and administering medication, and making sure to provide lots of love and attention. I’ve always said that I’m not a dog or cat person when asked, but rather an animal person. I love animals and caring after them. I am a college student at Tulane University and I am currently home for the summer! I am available until June 22nd and have open availability all day every day until then. I have a fenced yard and two pets of my own that are both friendly so I am no stranger to spending time outdoors with animals or having playdates. I am more than happy to take pets to any appointments they may have and am able to administer medication if needed.

About: I grew up around animals and used to volunteer at my local Veterinary Clinic. I have a lot of experience walking dogs, making meals, bathing pets, and absolutely love spending time with animals of any kind. I used to also house sit for my neighbors and watch their cats, dogs, and guinea pigs when they were out of time. I am a college student at UCSB double majoring in Film and Psychology. I have plenty of time during the day or at night to spend time with your pets and get to know them! I have a big open living room and can provide a crate in my home. I am also comfortable adapting to any routines or methods in your home that your pet is familiar with.

About: I was always the one to take care of our families dogs while growing up, so I have a lot of experience! Smaller dogs, bigger dogs, senior dogs…does not matter to me! I am currently ending an Americorps term so I have all the time in the world to play with your pups! I also always appreciate a daily dose of serotonin :) I always make sure there are clear instructions or specifics provided by the client when watching their pups if necessary! A safe and trustful environment is crucial in this type of work, which is my number one priority. An attentive attitude is also crucial, especially when being in a clients home.

There's no setting for that weight on Rover. (Unless your pet is an elder and/or they're very mellow) <--- My name is Melissa (aka. "Missy"). I'd like to care for your precious pet the next time you need some help. Do you have somewhere to go, or something to do? Let me help you, at your place or mine!?! You can book your pet for a caring, one hour, drop-in visit to your home, a few overnight visits, or an extended stay at my house. Do you need help at the last minute ... ? No problem. I'm happy to provide pet transportation, if needed. I can also help you fulfill the rules & requirements at a "Pet-Friendly" NOLa hotel, when the rules say, “you cannot leave your pet in the hotel room alone”. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant - This means your precious pet will NEVER be left alone for long hours, whenever they're in my care. I will be at your pet's side, while you take care of business or if you have a fun get-away planned. I’m very comfortable with many different animals & dog breeds, including elderly dogs that need a mellow, safe space with calm, gentle care. I pay close attention to what your dog likes & dis-likes, along with their personality quirks & individual needs. I enjoy caring for all animals, both young & old. I do not accept more than 2-3 dogs at a time. ((I USUALLY only schedule ONE family's pet(s) at the same time, especially if there’s a new dog client)). I always put in a great deal of consideration, before scheduling more than one family's pet at the same time. My home is very spacious, clean, well-organized & safe. I have a large, gated/enclosed & secure, backyard. The dogs that stay with me are ALWAYS supervised. My eyes will be on your pet constantly, while we play at your home or mine, both inside & outside. Allow me to love & care for your precious pet, while you take care of you. Let's discuss your needs. I do offer one free meet & greet. Other than dogs, I also have experience caring for: Cats, Birds, Bunnies, Turtles, Lizards, Snakes, Hamsters, Fish, Frogs, Chickens & Plants. Most of my pet guests are small, therefore any extra frisky, playful pet, over 30 pounds may cause physical harm, even if they are just playing. I'd rather not take that chance. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant. I’m rarely away from the house for more than 2-3 hours. I will always keep my eyes on your pet, even when the pet is roaming around the backyard. My backyard has a 9 ft. high, wooden fence. I also have a double gated entry, front-yard patio. I can also provide crates if needed. My 20 pound dog is 8yrs. old and he is very mellow & well behaved. He always welcomes another dog friend, anytime. We have a trusted routine for introducing new pet guests.
