About: I've been caring for dogs for years, starting with pet sitting for my best friend's dogs and later helping my sister care for pets in our community. My experience grew even further when I worked for a year at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I also worked at a veterinary clinic, giving me valuable knowledge about both dogs' and cats' health, behavior, and daily care needs. About: I started dog-sitting in college. I've taken care of blind senior dogs, puppies, adult dogs, not to mention guinea pigs, chinchillas, cats, turtles...the list goes on!! About: I’ve grown up with whole life with dogs, so I know the importance of taking care of your 4-legged family member(s) that are important in your life. I want to provide my services so that your fur baby is safe and comfortable in their own home, while you are alway from home. I’ve had small dogs such as jack Russell’s and as big as pit bulls in my family. No fur baby is too big or too small to love and care for. I am currently not working since I am finishing my degree in Nursing. The only work I have been doing is part-time babysitting and dog sitting on the side & weekends. I am mostly available weekdays from 8am-8pm. Weekends can be tricky for me due to other side jobs such as babysitting, so it just depends. Just ask if you have questions about any specific weekend. I currently have a recused pitbull-husky mix living in my home with me, that loves to play all day. She is recently just finished her heart worm treatment as of August 2025. We just started slowly becoming active again. Due to her circumstances, I have been able to learn more about pets medication and aiding in helping her through this process. Unfortunately, I can not have any pets in my home due to renting restrictions of no more than 1 dog. However, I am available to help with other pets medications and care for your fur pup in your home.

In the past i’ve volunteered with Zues' Rescue and I’m generally the go to pet care friend :) I’m a school counselor, so during the school year I am available after school and on weekends. During the summer, I am available 24/7. I can make exceptions if I am on PTO, holidays, etc. I make sure to observe an animals natural routine. Liz was wonderful. We are first time Rover users and were very nervous to take a weekend trip and utilize the platform. I hired Jackie to come to my apartment once a week and check on my two beta fish tanks and my tarantula. I was so relieved that she took the job because a lot of people are too intimidated by spiders to accept. She went above and beyond taking care of my fish and my spider, going so far as to troubleshoot my filters and test my tank water. She is extremely knowledgeable about fish and spent a lot of time making sure they were OK. This is so much more than I expected and I felt so confident leaving my pets in her care. She was Amazing with my tarantula and even offered to go to the store and get more crickets for her when she ran out. She sent me pictures and asked questions when she wasn’t sure how to proceed with her and I was really relieved to know that all of my pets were getting a lot of attention and care. It was very obvious that Jackie really cared about doing a good job of taking care of my pets. She is very detailed with her check-in visits and always takes pictures. she is extremely capable and responsible and I felt very safe giving her my keys and access to my house. I would hire Jackie again in a second and if you are looking for a sign to hire her, this is definitely it! Wish I could give her 100 stars.
