“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. About: ive owned labradors since I was a kid. besides enjoying being with them, I used to walk dogs in my neighborhoods pets and took care of them when they were out of town. I work and have classes from 11:30/4:30pm but am always home after 5pm. I am usually home on weekends. I enjoy going to the park to walk everyday. I live in a house with one roomate who loves pets. we always mantain the doors closed and make sure there is enough air. we have a tiny yard but it dosent have fences so we cant take pets outside without their leash
About: I’ve had pets my whole life and would love to help out pet owners in my spare time as a student. Can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I am currently in school and will be available most days of the week. When I am not in class my schedule is very flexible! About: Since I was 7 years old, my family has loved two golden retrievers in our home in a town of Los Angeles. Rocky, our hyper and enthusiastic 1st one, was with us since I was 5 years old, and Spencer, the 2nd one I took care of, was a sweet senior dog who stayed in my family home until 2022 when he passed. My close friends and neighbors have relied on our family as the designated pet sitters for them because we love and respect dogs so much! We always think of our house as a mini dog-hotel during those times. With these experiences growing up, Rover has become the perfect place for me to help others with caring for their dogs in New Orleans. I am happy to walk/feed/bathe your pets whenever you request it too! I am currently studying for an exam for medical school. I would be happy to take study breaks as an opportunity for myself AND your pup to get some sunshine. I will be present with the dogs and take care of them to make sure your pups are happy. I like to keep my eye on dogs I’ve dogsat before, and I will be in contact if there’s anything unusual going on. I’ve let my dogs roam about the house, but if you prefer to keep them in an enclosed area, please let me know! Taking them for frequent walks or to the park is always nice too!
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs starting at age 8 with 4 Dobermans. I’ve always had a fur baby in my home and trained them myself. From a young age, I’m very comfortable with giving anyone’s pet the love and affection they deserve in moments when your schedule gets the best of you! Before I moved into my new apartment, I was up in the morning for my “Doggie and Me” walks. After class in the afternoon to feed and exercise her again, as well as nighttime potty time. I’m very flexible with my schedule meaning I’ll try my hardest to be there for your pet when you need it most. I no longer have a crate in my home or a fenced yard, however I’m happy to give your pet free range in my home with leased walks around the Uptown Neighborhood. Im comfortable with drop-in visits as well if your fur baby feels best in the comfort of their own home.
About: I have been around all kinds of animals my whole life. Aside from raising and training my own dogs, I helped raise and train service dogs for over three years. These dogs have gone onto incredible careers helping others all over the country! I would love to help you and your furry friend :) I am a recent Tulane graduate! Currently working while I apply to PhD programs. Very flexible with reliable transportation around New Orleans. Located in Irish channel area. I have spent over 10 years caring for animals. In addition to my experience training service dogs, my mother has her own dog walking business which I assist with whenever I am home.

“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover.
