“I can’t say enough about the complete, loving care Randy provided my “Little Girl” (13 yo Yorkie). He kept her from Fri morning through Sunday evening, provided great pics and videos. This was only her second time on staying with a stranger - and she never missed a beat. She came back home calm and happy. Randy is her new home away from home.”

“We received many videos and pics to update us on how our little pup was doing. It made it so much easier to go away for a week without her. We missed her but we didn’t worry and always knew she was happy and well taken care of. Aja was very friendly and warm and good to work with.”

“Melissa is the best! She gets five stars and we will definitely board with her again! From our first call, to the meet and greet, she took the time to really get to know us and our dogs needs and made the whole process easy . Our dogs loved her immediately. She has a big house, a big yard, and took them on regular walks. We got daily photos and updates and her communication was prompt, responsive, and accommodating. Melissa is a gem!”

“My dogs were spoiled during my time away! I received daily updates and pictures/videos to prove they had a great time! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“I highly recommend Damaris and Jose. They provided excellent care for our dog, as well as videos to keep us posted. In fact, our pup seemed quite content to stay with them when I arrived to pick her up!”

“Jon was great! I had to leave town and had a last-minute Rover cancellation! Jon was incredibly easygoing and flexible in accommodating my nervous pup. Jon sent daily updates, which gave me such peace of mind. I’d absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for dog boarding services in the Uptown area!”

“Highly recommend Chayanne! She did a fantastic job taking care of our Corgi for a week while we were in Nola being tourists. She updated us with pictures and took excellent care of our baby. We will definitely book again.”

“My dog was so happy at drop off when he saw Mike again! Mike went above and beyond as usual, playing with my pup daily and making sure he felt so loved. I have already booked him for future trips. Thank you so much for always sending plenty of updates/photos!”

“I am so grateful to Ben for being so good to my boys. Shortly after I left I got a picture and a message that made me comfortable about leaving town. He knew I was nervous and gave me reassurance that everything would be ok. I received happy pictures each day!”

“Lynn seemed to have a similar comfort setting as me, with blankets on the couch and quiet/calmness. She has a large yard on the side that is completely fenced in and my girls LOVED it! She sent me videos and pictures. I could tell my girls were getting the attention and love they needed. Would definitely recommend!”

“I really liked how we did a meet and greet before she agreed to watch my dog to make sure our doggos got along. My dog had such a good time playing with her dog Pearl that my dog was exhausted by the time she got home. I also appreciated all the photos and videos she sent.”

“Natalie was amazing! We booked with her to board our dog for a weekend while we’re were in town visiting. She sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay which we really appreciated! She took great care of our dog and we’re so thankful :)”

“Regina was great with Coco! She was very responsive and kept us updated with pictures while we were gone. Coco seemed to really enjoy herself and came home very happy. I will definitely use Regina whenever we go out of town again!”

“Serena was incredible. She was very responsive, flexible to some of my last minute schedule changes, and really sweet with my dogs. I have zero complaints and would absolutely recommend her!”

“Lisa and Gizzy took great care of our Charlie! He can be a nervous nelly, but they put him at ease quickly as if he was part of the family from day one. Pics and updates were sent regularly. We are so grateful to have found you as Charlie’s home away from home!”

“Gail was very kind and so accommodating when we had unexpected medical needs arise. She gave us regular updates on when new “friends” would come to play and how our boys were doing. She gave us just enough updates, allowing us to focus on healing, but still letting us know our boys were getting loved. I would recommend and use her again for our pups.”

“Cody was so awesome with our two boys while we were away! They were super communicative and sent lots of updates/photos. Our two cats are very different personality-wise and Cody was amazing with both of them and catered to their individual needs. They also left our place super clean! 10/10 would recommend and we’ll definitely be booking again for our next trip!”

“Celeste was so sweet! We felt very comfortable having her watch our cat while we were out of town. She was super accommodating and we loved the photos that she sent us. We will definitely book with Celeste again.”

“Ashley was an amazing caretaker for our kitties. It was so good to know they were being so well cared for. She always had very thorough reports with lots of photos and we just enjoyed reading them too. Definitely will repeat!!! Thanks Ashley!!!”

About: ---> Sorry, I do NOT accept most spunky, young dogs Over 30 pounds. Most of the small pets I care for cannot physically handle playing with most dogs over 30 pounds. There's no setting for that weight on Rover. (Unless your pet is an elder and/or they're very mellow) <--- My name is Melissa (aka. "Missy"). I'd like to care for your precious pet the next time you need some help. Do you have somewhere to go, or something to do? Let me help you, at your place or mine!?! You can book your pet for a caring, one hour, drop-in visit to your home, a few overnight visits, or an extended stay at my house. Do you need help at the last minute ... ? No problem. I'm happy to provide pet transportation, if needed. I can also help you fulfill the rules & requirements at a "Pet-Friendly" NOLa hotel, when the rules say, “you cannot leave your pet in the hotel room alone”. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant - This means your precious pet will NEVER be left alone for long hours, whenever they're in my care. I will be at your pet's side, while you take care of business or if you have a fun get-away planned. I’m very comfortable with many different animals & dog breeds, including elderly dogs that need a mellow, safe space with calm, gentle care. I pay close attention to what your dog likes & dis-likes, along with their personality quirks & individual needs. I enjoy caring for all animals, both young & old. I do not accept more than 2-3 dogs at a time. ((I USUALLY only schedule ONE family's pet(s) at the same time, especially if there’s a new dog client)). I always put in a great deal of consideration, before scheduling more than one family's pet at the same time. My home is very spacious, clean, well-organized & safe. I have a large, gated/enclosed & secure, backyard. The dogs that stay with me are ALWAYS supervised. My eyes will be on your pet constantly, while we play at your home or mine, both inside & outside. Allow me to love & care for your precious pet, while you take care of you. Let's discuss your needs. I do offer one free meet & greet. Other than dogs, I also have experience caring for: Cats, Birds, Bunnies, Turtles, Lizards, Snakes, Hamsters, Fish, Frogs, Chickens & Plants. Most of my pet guests are small, therefore any extra frisky, playful pet, over 30 pounds may cause physical harm, even if they are just playing. I'd rather not take that chance. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant. I’m rarely away from the house for more than 2-3 hours. I will always keep my eyes on your pet, even when the pet is roaming around the backyard. My backyard has a 9 ft. high, wooden fence. I also have a double gated entry, front-yard patio. I can also provide crates if needed. My 20 pound dog is 8yrs. old and he is very mellow & well behaved. He always welcomes another dog friend, anytime. We have a trusted routine for introducing new pet guests.
About: Nothing, I'm just a regular guy that dogs&cats know is a great person. I give off good vibes only. This is an opportunity to learn about pets in general and meet new people. Open to negotiation on a price we both can agree on. If you're a fan of anime, I'm your guy. Easily. I've fallen on hard times and am learning new skills currently. Which makes me available all the time. All day every day. Always available essentially. I like to be secure. Always lock the door before leaving the house. I’m a 2nd black belt in Taekwondo, blue belt in BJJ, and have practiced Muay Thai and Judo, and am a decorated wrestler. If it's a big dog I am sitting and anything happens we will become a tag team in perfect sync. The 2nd thing is organization and cleanliness. I despise clutter, hate leaving a mess. My greatest offer is security when I watch your pets and your home.

About: I’m a proud Sphynx cat owner of 7 years, so I understand the unique care, attention, and patience cats need. I know that every cat has their own personality and comfort level, whether they’re playful, shy, cuddly, or more independent. I’m experienced with keeping cats on their routines, providing enrichment through play, giving them affection when they want it, and creating a calm, safe environment while their owners are away. I treat every cat like my own and make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for.

About: As a lifelong cat owner, I offer attentive, intuitive care tailored to your cat's unique personality. I respect their boundaries, keep routines consistent, and ensure they feel safe and loved while you're away.
About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire adulthood. Animals are angels on earth and truly part of what makes life so special. I don’t trust just anyone with my own fur baby, so I understand how stressful it can be to find someone to care for them when you need to travel or work extended hours. My entire family has dogs and I occasionally pet sit for relatives or friends who need it, so I figured I could do that more consistently to help others as well. I am between jobs and exploring what comes next, so I’m available all the time to love and care for your pups while you are at work or on vacation. I have a fenced backyard that pups can run around in. I am liberal with giving treats, but will absolutely respect and follow what your dog’s feeding and treat needs are. I love engaging with pups and learning their personalities, so they won’t be ignored in any way while they are with me. Senior dogs are welcome.
“Elizabeth was amazing! My skittish cats warmed up to her right away. She played with them & gave them extra treats. They’re very good motivated, so they’ll love her forever. Next time I’m out of time I’ll definitely call Elizabeth again”

“Our experience with Missy has been fantastic. She took the time to get to know Benji thoroughly during our meet and greet. On the day of daycare, she sent me text and photo updates throughout the day and I knew Benji was in great hands. When I picked him up in the evening, I could tell that he had a fantastic time that day!”

About: I previously worked at an animal shelter for three years. I handled all dogs and cats, the nice and the not so very nice. I had over 20 adoptions of dogs alone, with two aggressive dogs changed to happy puppies. I currently own a dog who is absolutely great I’m a dog lover. I’m a stay at home mommy, I take care of my son and my 1 year old pup. I’m pretty flexible on time. If I’m not able to do specific dates, I will mark them as unavailable to help assist with booking times. Please ensure that your pet is good with babies and other dogs before hand. I do not want to have any issues between the dogs that will cause harm to my baby. I have a fenced in yard, and I also have a block that I walk my pup around. If you have specifics for your pet, please let me know. I am pretty easy going when it comes to the proper care for your fur baby!
“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“She was great! My dog needed a sitter for the day and she had no problems at all Cheyanne sent update pictures, had friends to play with, and was super happy way dropping off and picking up! Will definitely be returning!”

About: I am retired from the Corporate world and would like nothing more than to take care of your pets. My schedule is pretty flexible. I will also take in your mail and garbage cans if needed. I have experienced taking care of my own pets and my friend's pets. I have one dog, Roxie who is 9 years old and two cats, Tesla and Orion who are 8 and 10. I volunteer occasionally at ARNO and help with the cats and walk the dogs. I would take care of your pets as if they were my own. I am very active so taking your dog on long walks/jogging and playing with them is not a problem. I am very responsible and will not let you down. Given the opportunity, I would love to spoil your pet.
“Elizabeth was so sweet!! She made sure Moose was safe and gave him all the time he wanted to explore! He was only there for a short time but I would trust Elizabeth with him for much longer! She was a great find!”

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since having my first dog at 6 years old. I love dogs and treat every fur baby like my own. Your pet will be in great care with me! “Brittany did great with our 3 month old puppy! She was very patient with her and even taught her a new trick. Her dog, Jerry, was great with our puppy and we were glad she had another dog friend. We would absolutely use Brittany again in the future!”

“Wendy always goes above and beyond! She makes sure my pup is safe, entertained and happy. Not only does she make sure Daisy is having fun with play, but she also practices commands and sends updates throughout the stay. I’m always appreciative of Wendy’s communication and attention to detail, and I know Daisy will be back for many more play dates!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have spent the past 12 years raising and caring for dogs of my own. I currently have two dogs: Wrigley, an 8-year-old Aussie, and Nova, a 6-year-old rescue Aussie/Husky mix who is blind and requires medications multiple times a day. Caring for Nova has given me hands-on experience with special-needs dogs, medication schedules, mobility limitations, and the patience and attention they require. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I treat every dog like an individual. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk, some extra attention, a consistent routine, or medication, I’m happy to provide dependable, loving care. I’m currently a surgery resident taking a research year (remotely) which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting throughout the week, with flexibility to accommodate different schedules and routines. I’m happy to work around your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and rest schedule, and I can provide consistent care rather than rushing in and out. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I take safety and trust seriously and will follow your instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medications, walks, and any house or pet-specific guidelines. My experience caring for Nova, a blind dog who needs medication multiple times a day, has taught me to be attentive to details and proactive about potential safety concerns. I’m comfortable working with dogs who need extra patience, structure, or special accommodations. I’ll treat your home with respect, communicate clearly, and make sure your dog receives the same consistency and care I would want for my own pets.
“Olivia has watched my young, energetic heeler puppy several times and is great! He’s had some joint issues and I really appreciated her keeping a close eye on him and being very communicative about how he’s doing. He’s always excited to see her and seems very happy being there. She has a nice outdoor area for dogs to play and seems genuinely excited to interact with them. I’d definitely recommend her for anyone needing someone to watch their pup.”

“My husband Emile and I were very pleased and grateful for the care that Damaris and Jose’ provided our Emma! You can tell that they are animal lovers and treated her like their own! They have a lovely home and yard and sent pictures and videos of her stay. In the past, Emma has been cared for by family members. It’s nice to know that we have someone else turn to!”

“Ellen took great care of Milo for daycare for a day. Milo seemed like he had a great time with Ellen and the other dogs. Ellen was very easy to communicate with and sent us plenty of adorable photos so we felt very comfortable leaving Milo with her. Thank you, Ellen!”

I consistently demonstrate calm competence combined with genuine affection. I have a keen understanding of canine body language and can sense subtle stress signals quickly, thereby allowing me to adjust playtime, walks and routines accordingly in the moment. Whether providing daily neighborhood walks, longer adventure outings, overnight stays, or extended boarding, I treat every dog as a special individual and am therefore able to offer them affection, love and support while maintaining a firm “leader of the pack” demeanor. I am retired and spend my full time at home with my 8 year old super friendly Brittany, Scout, going on long walks and to the dog park. I have had 20+ dogs of all sizes and breeds, from puppyhood through old age with various infirmities, and I want to dedicate my time to helping my clients feel 100% secure that their fur babies are being cared for as they would be at home with their own family! All babies get free run of my home, are allowed on furniture and I am always well stocked with toys, treats and various beds for lounging, should they so prefer. Thank you so much Madison, our new go-to New Orleans sitter!!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I usually watch just one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.

About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!
“Elizabeth was a fantastic babysitter our big golden retriever pup while we were out of town. She was in constant contact with us, sent plenty of pictures and updates about their romps, meal breaks, water breaks etc. And she kept the house spotless. I will most definitely use her services again. Thanks Elizabeth!”

“I can’t recommend Cody enough. She is a pet charmer. My 2 dogs and cat warmed to her quickly, she is an excellent communicator, and has a gentle presence. My one dog was nervous and hid before the first walk. Cody spent 30 min gently coaxing her out. After the first walk, all 3 of my animals were comfortable and happy. She sat with them after every walk for extra minutes and shared great pics with me. I will always check her availability first in the future”

“Celeste is lovely!! My girl, Lemon, gets anxious around new people, but Celeste is extremely gentle and patient, and Lemon came around and enjoyed her walk and company. 10/10 will definitely be utilizing her again!! She is so helpful and amazing :)”

About: Throughout my life I have pet sat dogs, cats, rats, bunnies, and reptiles such as bearded dragons and currently work at a doggy daycare/vet. Not only do I have experience caring for animals in a home but I also have experience caring for animals at work and feeding and bathing/exercising them. I am a pretty busy gal but I still have time for your pets! I work Sunday through Monday either 8:30-5, 7:30-4 or 7-3:30. Im off on Feidays and Saturdays. I usually can provide services for your animal in the evenings/late afternoons and weekends. I enjoy providing daily exercise and snuggles. I have a fenced front yard, long concrete driveway perfect for running, and a fenced in backyard with a deck for animals that like to be outside but also need to be monitored. I also have 2 dog friendly dogs and a cat and 3 rats.

“I am so grateful to Ben for being so good to my boys. Shortly after I left I got a picture and a message that made me comfortable about leaving town. He knew I was nervous and gave me reassurance that everything would be ok. I received happy pictures each day!”

“I highly recommend Iryna for dog sitting! She took good care of my dog for 5 nights and kept me updated me the whole time. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Julia was a wonderful sitter for our two crazy dogs! She was a great communicator and clearly took really good care of Clementine and Huck, even with their specific mealtime needs! Her pups seem so sweet and her home is an overall really great environment for pups. Thank you, Julia!!”

About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated. I am divorced and have my sons every other week. They are in middle and high school and are confident and comfortable around dogs. However, your dog will be cared for by me. Although they will likely want to play with your dog too!
