“I have used Ben to sit for my Aussiedoodle numerous times. She comes home happy and well cared for. Ben is very easy to work with and responds quickly, which is a bonus for my nutty family and our adventures!”

“Wonderful care and communication! Sally was so well cared for while I was away. Lynn provided regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. It was clear my pup was happy, relaxed, and getting lots of love and attention. I truly appreciate the thoughtful care and attention to detail—highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

“All I can say is wow! I’m so thankful for Elizabeth, she was and is amazingly so sweet. Not only to me as a human, a total stranger that she never met. She show a extremely amount of love towards my dog GinO. She was open arms and was welling to learn more about the dog needs and what would make him feel right at home while I’m away from him. GinO(my dog) is my son...or some would say like family and she treated him like her own. Thank you so so much Elizabeth. Highly recommended she’s a real dog lover.”

“Aja was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Milo, over the Fourth of July holiday! She was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared for him while we were away. She kept in great communication the entire time and sent plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear from the updates that Milo was happy, well-cared for, and comfortable in her care. I would highly recommend Aja to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter. We’re so grateful we found her on Rover!”

“Katherine and her family took such good care of our girl! They sent several photos and kept us informed on how she was doing. Would definitely choose them again whenever we need a sitter in the future!”

“Regina is exceedingly friendly, communicative, and shares lots of photos. I thought she was very accommodating. This was my first time using River. We met up for a meet and greet with my dog and went over care. I felt very comfortable letting my dog stay with her as I knew she was in capable care. Also I sincerely believe that my dog is better behaved now than she was when I dropped her off. I can't wait to drop my pup off again!”

“Mike is an awesome sitter! He takes great care of our 5 year old French bulldog/Boston terrier mix. He communicates regularly and sends lots of pictures, giving us peace of mind that our little guy is having fun. I highly recommend Mike for your daycare or boarding needs.”

“Cheryn was wonderful! So kind, attentive, and caring. She sent lots of pics of my pup and regular updates. My pup loved staying with her, and I felt comforted knowing she was in good hands and having fun!”

“Both Ruby & Dexter enjoyed the time with Demaris and family. The home and garden/yard are lovely plus both of my dogs got a lot of attention and pampering. I hate to admit it, my dogs looked and smelled better when I picked them up than when I dropped them off 😆”

“Natalie was amazing! We booked with her to board our dog for a weekend while we’re were in town visiting. She sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay which we really appreciated! She took great care of our dog and we’re so thankful :)”

“Stacy did an amazing job of looking after Chance. We could not be happier. The photos are so cute that Stacy provided for us. Chance is happy and tired and falling asleep in my arms as we are driving home. Stacys home is the perfect set up for long and short stays. We will definitely use Stacy again if we are in the area.”

“Lisa and Gizzy took great care of our Charlie! He can be a nervous nelly, but they put him at ease quickly as if he was part of the family from day one. Pics and updates were sent regularly. We are so grateful to have found you as Charlie’s home away from home!”

“Our dog had a blast during his stay with Liz! She is thoughtful, communicative and we loved the daily pup photos. We are so appreciative and would recommend Liz in a heartbeat.”

“Mary was amazing!! She was so easy to contact and she sent pictures and updates about my dog Max that stayed with her. He seemed to have a great time and he got along with her dog as well. Will definitely contact her again! 😊”

“Julia is a fantastic dog sitter. We felt SO comfortable leaving our dog with her. She has two dogs of her own so she very clearly “gets it” and she went above and beyond to make us feel like Duke was in good hands.”

“Jon was absolutely amazing with our pups.. he would send photos on a daily in addition to providing our old man his meds. We understand that our younger pup has some issues getting along with others but he was able to keep the peace with all the pups and that's a bit of a feat because she can be ALOT. Our littles were happy to come home but looked just as they did when we left them, plump and happy! We will absolutely be using Jon again for our next vacation!!”

“Iryna took wonderful care of my cat for 3 weeks. :) From the meet and greet, to the day I came back to pick her up, Iryna and her amazing family made sure my cat was comfortable in their home and well taken care of the entire time. Thank you sooo so much!!”

“Amy was really great with our dog Gabi during our stay in NOLA! We were there for a quick few days and it was great knowing that our dog was well taken care of. Amy was flexible with scheduling and demonstrated knowledge and expertise when it came to accommodating Gabi’s medical condition. Amy was great to talk to about the area and very kind to our dog, who always seemed enthusiastic to be with her. I would bring my dog to Amy again whenever we come back to New Orleans!”

“Christine made my baby’s first sitting experience so easy! She was very attentive to his specific needs and kept me informed throughout the entire visit. I met with her before the planned visit to ensure my baby would be a good fit for her and her family (very important). I definitely will rebook another visit with her!”

“Bianca was great! She made a real effort with my kitties while I was gone for about 2 weeks. They played a lot, loved getting brushed and got many treats. Bianca left my house clean, all litter changed and swept up. During the visit, our keypad battery started giving a "low battery signal," Bianca let us know, and offered to change it. I provided directions and she was able to figure it out seemslely and change the batteries at the next visit to prevent any distribution to kitty care. She watered our plants, too! Would recommend Bianca for your cat sitting needs.”

“Ashley was an amazing caretaker for our kitties. It was so good to know they were being so well cared for. She always had very thorough reports with lots of photos and we just enjoyed reading them too. Definitely will repeat!!! Thanks Ashley!!!”

“Dani is fantastic! She took excellent care of my little kitties. 😸 Georgie took to her instantly which shows the kind and caring spirit she has. We don't travel very often, but when we do I hope Dani is around to take care of the fury ones we love. Thanks again Dani!”

Any time we travel we will always ask for Olivia she's amazing and your pets will be spoiled, loved and taken care of thank you again Olivia!”

“Kate did an excellent job of checking in and ensuring my senior and 10-month old cats were OK while I was away on a trip. Would definitely book her again and recommend her services.”

“Celeste was so sweet! We felt very comfortable having her watch our cat while we were out of town. She was super accommodating and we loved the photos that she sent us. We will definitely book with Celeste again.”

“Caroline is awesome. I will definitely book her again for our future needs. She treated our boy well. I love the daily pupdates and images. I've never seen a bigger smile on his face lol. Thank you Caroline!”

“Liz went above and beyond while we were out of town to take care of our two cats. I am beyond grateful and will definitely use her again in the future if she’s available!”

“Karen is the best cat sitter we’ve ever had! From the first meet-and-greet, she was warm, reliable, and instantly connected with our cats. She took the time to understand each of their unique personalities and routines, and her daily updates (with adorable photos!) gave us total peace of mind while we were away. When we got home, everything was spotless, and our cats were calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. It’s such a relief knowing we can travel without worrying about them. Karen treats our pets like her own — she’s an absolute gem! We couldn’t recommend her more highly.”

About: I started dog-sitting in college. I've taken care of blind senior dogs, puppies, adult dogs, not to mention guinea pigs, chinchillas, cats, turtles...the list goes on!! I work from home, so I can take my laptop anywhere! I do have a strict work schedule, but it doesn't matter where I am. I treat my pets like they're my kids, so your pets would be like my nieces and nephews...lots of fun but I'll give 'em back!! When dog-sitting in your home, I try to leave everything just as you left it.
“Lydia was awesome, she cared for our senior dog Bella. She sent detailed communication about her drop in with Bella and made my husband and I feel at ease when we were gone. We will continue to use Lydia’s services, 5 stars!”

About: I will love and care for your pets like they were my own, creating less stress for you while you are away from home. I am an older, responsible single woman so I can give your pets the full attention they deserve, giving you peace of mind. I am here to help and make pets happy! I have a completely flexible schedule, available when you need me. Pet sitting for your fur babies is my full time job. As long as I do not have another client booked, I can make your schedule work for me. I have a fenced yard and very friendly 7 year old named Laila. I am happy to walk pets any time they need, give out meds, cuddle inside or play tug of war in the yard. I’m happily adaptable to what they need and want with your prior approval of activities.
About: I have had a dog since I was nine, and now I am a cat mom. And I have had experience with house and petting sitting in high school and college. I want to be surrounded by animals again. I currently work a 8-4 job but I can take breaks to go let to doggies out. And I am free most weekends all day. I want to make sure pets feel comfortable in their own home when you are away. To make sure they get all of the love and attention they need. It can be hard on the pet and owner when the owner is away and I want to make sure that the time apart is easy and stress-free for both of you.

About: My two babies, Blue and Teigen are pictured. They are about 10 years old. They have very different personalities, so I’m comfortable caring for social or more independent cats. Also, I understand that the most important thing about cat care is keeping the litter area tidy, as well as giving them fresh water and food on schedule.

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

“My husband Emile and I were very pleased and grateful for the care that Damaris and Jose’ provided our Emma! You can tell that they are animal lovers and treated her like their own! They have a lovely home and yard and sent pictures and videos of her stay. In the past, Emma has been cared for by family members. It’s nice to know that we have someone else turn to!”

“Beth has a true natural gift with pups! I’ve never seen Louis as happy as he is when he heads off to her—his whole face lights up, tail wagging a mile a minute. It’s such a relief and joy to know he’s in such caring, capable hands. Thank you, Beth, for taking such wonderful care of my boy. We think you’re the best and feel so lucky to have found you! 🐾❤️”

“Madison was awesome! Clean and spacious house and a nice backyard. She sent videos and pictures and my pup and he looked like he was having a blast the whole time. Very easy communication and feedback from her. I 100% recommend her!! S”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

“Visiting Oxford and so grateful Emily was able to watch my senior dog Lainey while I went to an event. It rained all day and Lainey being thunder phobic would not have done well in the hotel. Easy to schedule. Flexible with drop off and pick up times.”

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

About: I’ve spent years helping friends and family by watching their pets when they travel. From walks and playtime to cuddles and companionship, I truly enjoy caring for animals I currently work from home so I have flexibility on caring for your fur babies! I am also available to go to your house and take care of your animals there.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.
“He was wonderful with my two little ones. He’s such a sweet man. I highly recommend him especially if you’re traveling through New Orleans like i was.”
About: I grew up in an animal loving home and have had them as pets since birth. Since I can remember, I have been the one friends and family have called on to care for pets, young and old, healthy and injured. I have fostered and owned dogs with dog aggression issues and have a special place in my heart for these often misunderstood souls. I am comfortable walking with them and have the physicality to maintain control and safety. As an avid walker, one of the best joys in life is walking side by side with a canine companion. I believe in taking care of animals like children, with love warmth, attention, cuddles, positive reinforcement and boundaries. I have had the pleasure to raise 3 dogs from puppyhood until their elder life cycle and am very comfortable with aging doggos and those with special needs. I also work part time in a grooming shop, so I can get your baby squeaky clean and beautiful for you. I am currently working part-time in a grooming shop a couple days a week and I work from remotely from home part-time. Saying that, my schedule is very open to spend time with animals. I live within walking distance of City Park and walk almost daily. I have open yard that is not fenced in but I have temporary fencing that I can use for dogs who require more outside time than lengthy walks. I have several crates that I can setup for dogs that need them or if you don't want to transport your own. I follow the owners lead if dogs are allowed on furniture, but if so, they are welcome to cuddle on the couch. I prefer that dogs sleep in their own bed, one of my loaner beds or a crate. I will honor the owners feeding schedule as to make the transition easy for everyone. I do have 2 cats in the home who have grown up around dogs their whole life and are generally ambivalent to them. I send daily photo updates and generally treat your baby as my own while in my care.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up! I got my first on cat (Katniss) as a freshman in college, and she is now 12 years old and thriving well! I got my first dog (Albus) the next year and he is a 106 pounds black lab who is also doing very well. I am a teacher so I am off from June-July 20 all day, every day. I can show up on short notice and stay for extended periods if needed! My schedule for the next 2 months is extremely flexible, and I’m willing to work with your schedule as well! I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I’m very experienced caring for multiple pets in a home environment. I have a condo in Metairie a block from the levee where I can take a dog on a good walk, and my parents house in mandeville with a fenced yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. I can easily crate your dog or cat if needed, follow any specific feeding, medication, or routine instructions, and provide plenty of love, attention, and enrichment. Whether the service is at my home or yours, my goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.

“Stacey was very attentive and responsive. She’d txt me back within seconds. It was easy to set up Buddy’s stay with her. She sent updates and professional photos of him while he was staying with her. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future.”

Our place has Security cameras 24/7 I have been around dogs all my life, and now I work as a professional dog groomer. I have my own grooming salon. We ask that you book 2 weeks ahead with us. I think communication will be the key in our working relationship. Here are somethings that I would like to know about your dog: Any separation anxiety? Is your dog trained, or crate trained as well? What they like to do? If they have any bad habits, or typical habits of their age, for example, if they like to chew on things, or eat grass. Do they have fleas or ticks, been vaccinated, and/or if they have skin allergies or any medical issues I need to be aware of? Spayed or neutered. If they prefer being inside or outside. How many times they need to go out. Their feeding schedule and how many cups? Anything that will make me aware of their needs and protect them for we all want the best for all our dogs. My house has a large yard and is fully fenced in. I live here with my father who helps me and my yorkie. I'll send pictures and will call you about your dog as you be available or want to get it. “Tayler was amazing. My dog Lacey always get separation anxiety and tends to cry when I leave and is a little lack lister but Tayler was one of the few that was able to get her to eat her dinner. Lacey usually will not eat unless I or my husband feeds her, but Lacey was happy to stay with Tayler. Thanks for taking such great care of our “baby”.”

About: I grew up raising dogs and cats in my household. Since 2010 I've adopted pets on my own, cats and a dog. I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. Im a teacher who loves spending time with pets and I enjoy the extra excitement that comes from watching little ones for those who are out of town. I love showering pets with affection and all the care they need to be joyous and safe. I love walks and play time with all my animals. Getting to help make a pet feel loved would be a perfect use of my time.
About: We are a small family with a super friendly lab-hound mix named Charlie. Charlie loves to play with other dogs and is generous with his space and toys. Our six-year-old daughter loves meeting new animals, too. Our home is fenced all around so the dogs have a circle run as well as the backyard and front porch to play and relax. We travel and have used Rover for our dog and we’re happy to be on the other side hosting and caring for your pet. I have volunteer experience with multiple animal shelters and experience caring for both healthy pets and animals with special needs. The other side of our double shotgun is currently unoccupied so we have additional space to separate dogs if need be.

About: As a pet sitter and dog owner, I’m intentional about how I care for every pet because they are truly family. Along with my dog experience, I also spent two years cat sitting, providing check-ins, feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, and giving comfort and attention. I have experience with pets of all sizes and temperaments, and I focus on meeting each one where they are to help them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve owned three dogs and lived with several others, giving me hands-on experience with daily care routines. I’m comfortable feeding, refreshing water, administering medications (pills, ear cleaning, ointments), and providing both short and long walks, along with playtime tailored to your dog’s needs. In my last two years caring for senior dogs, I learned the importance of patience and adaptability—whether that meant slower walks, cleaning up accidents, or providing gentle muscle massages to keep them comfortable. You can count on me to follow detailed instructions closely and provide thoughtful, reliable care so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. “Julia was wonderful when caring for our dog Freya! Our girl is very shy and nervous around strangers and Julia helped her to feel more comfortable and less anxious. I appreciated the updates of how Freya was doing as well as the adorable pictures she sent! I will definitely recommend Julia to our friends and family and anyone in need of a reliable and professional pet sitter.”

“I have used Ben to sit for my Aussiedoodle numerous times. She comes home happy and well cared for. Ben is very easy to work with and responds quickly, which is a bonus for my nutty family and our adventures!”

“Madison is the best! She took care of our fur baby who is older, and suffers from anxiety. Our Mona was so relaxed and at home, with Madison, that she spent a weekend of bad thunderstorms without incident. We loved that she sent pics and daily updates.”

“This was our first time leaving Hazel with someone. We were nervous, but Roxanne & Reese made us feel at ease immediately. We were very pleased with how welcoming they were to her and even more happy to hear that she was a very good girl while we were gone.”

“Olivia was very caring to my dog! She sent me pictures and made sure he had what he needed. Also she accepted a last minute request for which I was really grateful! Thanks olivia!”

“Natalie was amazing! We booked with her to board our dog for a weekend while we’re were in town visiting. She sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay which we really appreciated! She took great care of our dog and we’re so thankful :)”

“Anna has watched my dogs a few times now. She is always very quick to respond and a great communicator when it comes to organizing drop offs and pick ups. If the dogs could talk, they would confirm they have a good time when staying with Anna!”

“Lisa and Gizzy took great care of our Charlie! He can be a nervous nelly, but they put him at ease quickly as if he was part of the family from day one. Pics and updates were sent regularly. We are so grateful to have found you as Charlie’s home away from home!”

“Chayanne was great with my best friend Phil. He came home happy and healthy and appropriately tired. She was super flexible with my schedule changes and a good communicator. Recommend!”

“Ashely was great! Very accommodating with drop off & pick up. Great location right next to downtown. Poppers had a blast playing with her dog. She sent pictures throughout the stay. Will be using her again!”

“Dalia and her family took excellent loving care of our sweet mixed breed dog Yeti! Daily updates with pictures and videos helped us to know that Yeti was happy and being loved!”

“Julia is a fantastic dog sitter. We felt SO comfortable leaving our dog with her. She has two dogs of her own so she very clearly “gets it” and she went above and beyond to make us feel like Duke was in good hands.”

About: I've walked dogs in Dallas, Tx for three years. I've been taking care of my own dog since moving here to New Orleans. Love all kinds of dogs. I'm recently retired and looking for some extra income. I love all kinds of dogs big or small and their individual personalities. I'm also a long time cat owner and love them as well. I would like to offer my service to stay at your home with your pet. I will feed, adminster medicine, walk, and groom your pet.

About: I’ve been a dog groomer for 15 years. I’m very good at taking care of dogs, communicating with them and making them feel noticed and appreciated. I have a very open schedule due to me not being able to groom dogs right now due to an elbow injury. Left arm still works perfectly Petting, talking to them, regular feeding times. Long walks with play time. If toys are provided I will also use them during their play time.
“Carney Anne was phenomenal with our Rogue girl - even getting her to eat a bit while we were out of town (which is unusual for Rogue when in a new place). During Rogue’s stay, Carney Anne shared photos of Rogue enjoying walks, cuddles, and even a soccer game with another pup that was also staying. We will definitely book with Carney Anne again in the future!”

“She is always kind and considerate of us on our drop/pick-up times… always cheerful and our dogs love her… it is the Carlton Ritz for Dogs! I always relax because I know our dogs are always taken care of and loved on…, highly resto anyone looking for a sitter! Nothing but praises for her♥️”
