About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.

About: Hello there! My name is Anika and I used to be a pet caregiver on Rover a while ago when I was going through college, but decided to reactivate my account to come back on board! A little bit about myself... I received my Master's Degree from LSU and have been working in my career field for a few years now, but I still very much enjoy spending time with animals and thought that continuing with Rover was a great way to be able to spend time with animals while making an extra income on the side! Therefore, although I am newly back on Rover, I have been with Rover in the past. I am also a go-to foster and volunteer for several local rescue groups, so I have experience with all types of animals (mainly cats and dogs) and welcome all. I have also grown up with animals my whole life and my sweet beloved senior dog recently passed away; my "soul dog" as some may say. I had him for a little over 13 amazing years. However, being able to work with and volunteer with animals has really been great, which is why I definitely wanted to continue with Rover again. I am also accepting new customers and now offering lower rates as well! You can rest assure that when you leave your beloved fur babies with me that they are in great hands. I am a safe and responsible person. I am and always have been an all-around animal-lover. Thank you for considering or choosing me and I hope you have a peaceful and restful 2026! I am currently working part-time in behavioral health and will soon also be working as a fitness instructor as well, but my schedule is flexible. I am currently not offering in-boarding in my home, but I offer overnight sitting in the client’s home. Your pets will be treated like family when they are with me. I adore all animals and believe in providing them with a healthy and happy environment. They will get lots of attention, toy play time, love, exercise and fun. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I love high energy animals and taking care of them. I grew up with a dog and cat I still have and care for and more recently I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society, I even ended up starting my own club of volunteers in high school. This role has equipped me with all sorts of animal care skills such as cleaning after them, bathing them, feeding them and administering medication, and making sure to provide lots of love and attention. I’ve always said that I’m not a dog or cat person when asked, but rather an animal person. I love animals and caring after them. I am a college student at Tulane University and I am currently home for the summer! I am available until June 22nd and have open availability all day every day until then. I have a fenced yard and two pets of my own that are both friendly so I am no stranger to spending time outdoors with animals or having playdates. I am more than happy to take pets to any appointments they may have and am able to administer medication if needed.

About: Throughout my life I have pet sat dogs, cats, rats, bunnies, and reptiles such as bearded dragons and currently work at a doggy daycare/vet. Not only do I have experience caring for animals in a home but I also have experience caring for animals at work and feeding and bathing/exercising them. I am a pretty busy gal but I still have time for your pets! I work Sunday through Monday either 8:30-5, 7:30-4 or 7-3:30. Im off on Feidays and Saturdays. I usually can provide services for your animal in the evenings/late afternoons and weekends. I enjoy providing daily exercise and snuggles. I have a fenced front yard, long concrete driveway perfect for running, and a fenced in backyard with a deck for animals that like to be outside but also need to be monitored. I also have 2 dog friendly dogs and a cat and 3 rats.

About: Caring for pets since I was little, I have cared for many pets from cats to miniature dogs I am home often so I can take your baby out many times during the day. I’m available over night. I can take your dogs for unlimited walks. I’m close to many trail and areas with lots of grass. I am able to feed their normal schedule. Medium size apartment and I have 2 dog parks near my place within two to three feet I’m available for any type of pets hyper or chill.

About: I’ve been taking care of my animals and others’ animals from a young age. I have a range of experience- with puppies and kittens, administering medication, unique personalities, special needs, and more. Whether its a high energy dog or a nervous and shy cat or anything in between, I have seen it all! I am flexible and willing to help in any way I can! Currently not boarding at the moment since I am moving into a new space soon. I can go home for lunch during the week and am free all evenings and weekends. Since I am in the process of moving to a new space, I am not boarding at the moment. I am usually available for boarding on weeknights after 4p and full days on the weekends. Your pet is my priority whether I am at your place or mine. When staying at your place, I will always try to leave it neater than when I came across it. Whether its replacing batteries in your ring camera or letting the service man come in, I am available to help you in anyway you need when something unexpected occurs while you're out. Any animals staying at my home are made to feel comfortable and safe; my home becomes their home!
