About: I have volunteered for Zeus's Rescues walking dogs for three years. I previously owned two shetland sheepdogs for several years! There is nothing, absolutely nothing, in this world that is better than spoiling a dog or having extended playtime with a dog or pet. I am always reachable, overly communicative, and reliable in an emergency. My schedule is very open right now and I expect to be working part time soon. I look forward to communicating with you and your pet about your schedule and your needs. I can comfortably handle any breed or any size pet! I am offering dog walking, drop in visits for your pet, and house sitting. I am comfortable with and proficient at: measuring and feeding the proper amount of food, making sure your pets stay hydrated, administering the right amount of medication, taking care of your home while you're away, (I'm a homeowner myself,) playing with your pet, tiring out your pet, reducing your pet's stress, giving love and affection to your pet, and taking your pet to the vet in the event of an emergency.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I have had pets my whole life. Also, I prefer dogs but I have a couple years of experience helping out with my sister’s cats. I currently work remotely. So, I can be wherever you need me on any given day or time. I don’t normally work on weekends. I live with my girlfriend and her Boston Terrier ‘Haley’. She has a fenced in backyard to run around in and gets to chase around the ball a lot.

About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! If I could cuddle a gator I would!!! I have also done whelping services for many family members. I have done a lot of fostering and bottle feeding both puppies and kittens. I’m currently working only for Rover. So I can dedicate all my time to your fur baby and his/her needs and the loving care and schedule you want for them. However I am instructed to. I am there to make you and your pet comfortable while away. It can be stressful for pet and pet parents when they are not together. I try to keep your pets schedule as similar to what they are used to with you. Feeding/ walking/ playing/ sleeping/ waking up will all be as close to their normal schedule as possible. Their comfort is my first priority.

About: I have had cats for so many years of my life before having a few dogs and then birds and hamster's added in to our life during the time of having multiple cats. We only have cats now since the year of October 2010 til current times. I'm passionate about working with animals and providing attentive care. I have hands-on experience caring for animals in home settings, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their well-being. Skilled at safely handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, experienced in cleaning kennels, feeding animals, monitoring their health, able to follow instructions for animal care routines and respond quickly to any issues. I schedule myself for when I am available to work. I usually only work around 1-4 days a week at best. Sometimes there is no event for one or two weeks because of a certain reason. • I am usually working early in the day by 9:00 AM til the afternoon like 3:00 / 4:00 PM. I work later events that have me showing up around 1:00 PM / 2:30 PM before the event starts til the end of the event around 9:00 PM from August during heavy amounts of events going on til April or May during slower amounts of events going on. • Between April / May til August, I am completely available to do anything you need for Boarding, House-Sitting, and Doggy Day Care because I don't really have anything going on except grocery / prescription runs for my mom and possibly me at another store, and with doctor's appointment for me and my mom. **Availability & Visit Times - Westbank** I offer midday drop-in visits usually between 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM daily. This window lets me give each pet full, unrushed attention for feeding, litter, play, and cuddles. If you need a specific time within that window, just ask! I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine. About: I have had dogs all my life and have loved all of them with my whole heart. I have taken care of both my dogs from puppies until they have gone into their senior years. I also have experience during seizures, as one of my dogs has had them frequently. Also, experienced with care after procedures as my dog has had mass cell tumors removed a number of times. I am currently in law school so on Tuesdays and Thursdays I have one class from 2-3:14 and am off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Saturday’s, I have work from 9:30-12:30. My dog gets walked a number of times a day. She runs around and exercise at various times. I would treat all dogs as I would my own.

About: I grew up with 2 boxers in my childhood home. They were well taken care of; they went on walks, behaved well, & were rewarded with treats. I am available to work full-time. I can start as early as 6am in the morning to night. Whenever my assistance is needed for your dogs. Don’t be afraid to summon me. For my own & others i make sure pets get their excise & socialize.Once dogs are trained, I’ll take them on group walks ( with owner’s permission.)

About: I have experience with all kinds of animals including horses, goats, and chickens. Dogs are the best. I can't remember a time where I did not have a dog in my life. Originally from TX in the US marines me and my wife have a lovely Australian Shepherd named Gracie who is our best buddy 🙌🏻 we love her so much. We take her for long walks everyday and she eats homemade food. I am looking for a 2nd job, and pet care would be an amazing 2nd job. I can care for the pet on weekends, and once I get off work. My normal work week is Monday-Friday 6am-430pm or 0600 to 1630 Honestly probly depends on the pet, younger dogs especially puppies need more attention than older dogs, and older dogs may have different needs. It's case by case basis, on what each pet needs. I do like to play with the dogs I care for.

During my time as an officer I have taken care of so many animals from fostering them through my shelter or pet sitting through family , friends and clients. About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.
