About: 8 years of vet technician experience, CPR administration of medicine. Knowing behavior and most important making sure they feel as if they are at home. My name is Brittany, I have full availability. I am looking to make this my full time job so I can finish online college for my bachelor's in psychology and attend to my daughter. I go by Desirae as well. I have a fenced in back yard and also enough bedrooms to separate any that need separated. If I go to someone's home I will do as they ask.

About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! If I could cuddle a gator I would!!! I have also done whelping services for many family members. I have done a lot of fostering and bottle feeding both puppies and kittens. I’m currently working only for Rover. So I can dedicate all my time to your fur baby and his/her needs and the loving care and schedule you want for them. However I am instructed to. I am there to make you and your pet comfortable while away. It can be stressful for pet and pet parents when they are not together. I try to keep your pets schedule as similar to what they are used to with you. Feeding/ walking/ playing/ sleeping/ waking up will all be as close to their normal schedule as possible. Their comfort is my first priority.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

There’s a splash-pad and cooling stations so no one overheats after a big romp around the yard. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and extended care on both weekdays and weekends, and I prioritize being present and your dogs will rarely, if at all, be left alone. I’m located in a quiet part of the outer 9th ward. My neighbors are friendly dog lovers too. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and individual needs, and I adjust my approach to help each dog feel safe and understood. I’m experienced with crate use, positive reinforcement, and helping dogs settle in new environments. I know when to separate dogs and how to read body language before any accidents can transpire. About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. I additionally took care of my other dog in her early months waking up multiple times nightly to calm her down. About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

About: I've had dogs all of my adult life. I had 6 at one time and now have 2 Chihuahuas who I adore. I love all pets and want to be your pups best friend. I regularly pet sit for my 2 kids' dogs (Frenchie, Australian shepherd and golden doodle). I've also pet sat at a good friend's house for her 3 pups and brought my 2 also. I am retired so I have a lot of free time. I can walk or visit your pups regularly. My schedule is very flexible. I can help out at any time. I have a fenced yard and it is secure. My pups can't get out and they get along with all dogs. My pups are treated like the king and queen they are.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: Been giving my love to animals since I was a little girl. Family have trusted me with providing what is necessary for our furry friends. I'm currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule, and have enough time watching over furry family. I can do frequent house visits if needed. I don't host animals in my home but and open to pet sit and house sit if needed. I can also do house visits if needed.

About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect.
