“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! If I could cuddle a gator I would!!! I have also done whelping services for many family members. I have done a lot of fostering and bottle feeding both puppies and kittens. I’m currently working only for Rover. So I can dedicate all my time to your fur baby and his/her needs and the loving care and schedule you want for them. However I am instructed to. I am there to make you and your pet comfortable while away. It can be stressful for pet and pet parents when they are not together. I try to keep your pets schedule as similar to what they are used to with you. Feeding/ walking/ playing/ sleeping/ waking up will all be as close to their normal schedule as possible. Their comfort is my first priority.

About: I adopted my traveling friend's cat, Zara, for a year and a half before my friend moved back home during lockdown. Zara and I moved a few times in New Orleans, but she adjusted to our home perfectly once we were settled. She snuggled me everyday and was patient with me while I worked in the service industry. I have also cared for ducks, chickens, two older pigs, and a parrot while one of my friends left the city (New Orleans) for her birthday vacation. During this same week, I cared for my disabled friend's blind cat, shrimp tank, goldfish, and two neighborhood cats she tends to. Even though these friends lived on opposite parts of the city, I split my time snuggling with the furry pets and attended to all pets who had medication or special needs. My love for animals has expanded to animals I never thought I'd get to love on! I hope you can welcome me as your pet caretaker while you are away from home.
About: I’ve taken care my dogs my who life. They were always played with, well feed, taken on walks, and groomed to perfection. I love taking care and spending time with animals. I’m available some weekends before 3pm and during the week days I am in school so I have more free time on my hands from working. I have had dogs and cats in my life. My last pet was a female Siamese Cat her name was Nala and I had dog named Bacchus years before her and some one stole them both. But, they stayed with shot updates, vet updates, toys, stocked on food, treats, clothes, love and much entertainment from me. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! About: I am caring, reliable, and patient. Especially with the small pups. I love giving them attention. I love playing with them and making them feel safe, comfortable and loved. Your pet is my priority whether I am at your place or mine. When staying at your place, I will always try to leave it neater than when I came across it. Whether its replacing batteries in your ring camera or letting the service man come in, I am available to help you in anyway you need when something unexpected occurs while you're out. Even as Jessica faced her own challenges at home because of the storm, she never stopped giving top-notch care to my silly, very quirky, and sometimes a little wild rescue puppy. “We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. “Iryna is fantastic. I could tell immediately that she and her family love animals. Her pup was super sweet when we arrived, so that was a bonus. This was our first time booking with Iryna, which I can find a little stressful. I had nothing to worry about bc she put me at ease immediately. She had great communication throughout the entire stay and kept us updated with plenty of pictures. She noticed a wound on our pup that we weren’t aware of, cleaned and treated it, and let us know right away. We also had a last minute medication request for a separate issue, and she was incredibly accommodating without hesitation. It was clear that she cared for our guy like he was her own. “Flynn had a great stay with Regina! He is special needs and requires someone to give him medication 4 times daily. She was able to adjust her schedule to make sure she could accommodate this. She wanted to do a meet and greet before which I really appreciated. She always responded right away to any messages I sent, and she kept in touch daily sending pictures of Flynn! He was the only dog she had at the time which was perfect. I would love to be able to have Flynn stay with her again and would absolutely recommend her care to anyone with a special needs dog!
