“Michael is so kind and helpful. I was nervous to leave my fur-child with someone new to go out of town. He made me feel at ease from the start and my pup also did very well. He was prompt in all communication and let me know how she was doing periodically. Would definitely recommend and I plan to have him watch her again for the next trip!”

“I can’t recommend Mike enough. He was very communicative and sent so many wonderful pictures and videos. I knew my dog was well taken care of the entire time!”

“Iryna is fantastic. I could tell immediately that she and her family love animals. Her pup was super sweet when we arrived, so that was a bonus. This was our first time booking with Iryna, which I can find a little stressful. I had nothing to worry about bc she put me at ease immediately. She had great communication throughout the entire stay and kept us updated with plenty of pictures. She noticed a wound on our pup that we weren’t aware of, cleaned and treated it, and let us know right away. We also had a last minute medication request for a separate issue, and she was incredibly accommodating without hesitation. It was clear that she cared for our guy like he was her own. We would absolutely book with Iryna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter. - Diana (and Roy)”

“Blair took such a good care of my Leo Coco. She sent me updates with photos without even asking. She responded to me every time I texted as soon as I texted, even at 12am at night. I forgot to bring Leo Cocos bed, so she gave them nice cozy blanket to sleep in. She also kept them for on extra day with last minute adjustment request. Overall we are very pleased with her service. Thanks Blair for going above and beyond to take care of my babies.”

“Regina was amazing! I can’t say enough good things about her. Our foster dog struggled with anxiety while we were gone and was far from his best behavior, and she handled everything with incredible patience, professionalism, and kindness. I know how important it is to be able to trust your dog sitter and I absolutely trust Roxanne and her family.”

About: I’m lucky to come from an animal family. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life - big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, lap cats, moody cats - I’ve loved them all. Recently, my two children and I found ourselves pet free for the first time. I miss having my own full-time furry companion but I also travel regularly for work. I decided to take this opportunity to open my home & heart to your pets. For me and my children, this is a win / win situation. We love caring for animals and we love the joy they bring to our home. We live in a cozy house in mid-city with a fully fenced in yard for dogs who wants to run and sniff and explore. My children, aged 8 & 4, have grown up with pets their whole lives and love participating in the day to day care. They are gentle and know how to approach and interact with animals of all ages and sizes. We’ve hosted dogs and cats in our home and we truly love doing so. I am active and will take your dog for as many walks and/or jogs as they desire. I also have a fenced in yard for those who want to roam and sniff around. I work from home so your pet will have company all day and rarely be left alone. I am available for on-demand walks, scratches and cuddles. I have experience administering medication to both dogs and cats. Before hosting or caring for any pet, I'm happy to meet with you to get to know your unique pet’s needs and temperament. I work from home so I am almost always around to provide on-demand cuddles, scratches, and walks for pets who are staying with us in our home. When caring for your pets in your home, my schedule means I have a lot of flexibility to work around your pet’s unique routine and needs. As a remote worker, I can work from anywhere and can provide extra love, support, and company for pets when their family is out of town. My home is quiet and comfortable with a fully fenced in back yard for dogs who want to run or sniff or feel the sun on their skin. My day to day routine is pretty quiet during this chapter of my life and I enjoy the loving & peaceful company of pets.

“Christina is the best! I know that three dogs can intimidate most people but her gentle and understanding attitude put my babies at ease instantly upon meeting. She shared many pictures with me of my babies and you could tell that they were comfortable and happy with her company. I would highly recommend her.”

“This was the first time Bianca watched my cat Goose, and she was amazing! She is very trustworthy, communicative, and thoughtful. Went above and beyond! I felt very safe knowing she was watching my cat. Thank you Bianca!”

“Caitlin is GREAT with my kitty Louie. I felt so bad leaving him by himself for 2 weeks. Especially since he will have to stay in the house, when he likes going outside. BUT she stopped in twice a day and I got pictures of him playing. When I got home he was (and is) happy to see me and better than ever...Everything was perfect... She is my regular Louie sitter”

“Amazing first Rover experience with Natasha! She met us and our Sadie Bug first on a virtual meet and greet, which we really appreciated. She accommodated us with drop off and pick up times that worked for my husband, as I was already in another state. She sent pictures and text messages to keep us informed and let us see that Sadie Bug was doing well. When my was loading Sadie’s belongings into the car at pickup, Sadie was happy in Natasha’s arms. That told me everything! 100% recommend this wonderful person! ❤️”

“Jennifer responded to a VERY short-notice request and responded quickly to all texts. She also was able to befriend the shyest cat in the house (so proud of him!). Thank you Jennifer! Highly recommend”

“I highly recommend Cheyanne! She took care of my two young cats with perfection from start to finish. From the beginning, she was wonderfully responsive to all of my questions and concerns, immediately putting my mind at ease. She provided loving care and sent daily updates on how my kittens were doing, which made being away so much easier. It is clear that Cheyanne is a true animal lover who genuinely cares for the pets in her charge. I would trust her with my pets anytime and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for attentive, loving pet care!”
“Ellen was terrific. Highly responsive, followed our instruction to a tee, and made sure our cat Loki feel loved and played with in our week long absence despite the chaos of getting to our house during Mardi Gras. We would absolutely hire Ellen again!”

“Hanna took great care of my cat while I was away for a week! My cat is very shy and Hanna was patient, respectful of her space, and made sure everything was in order. She sent a picture every day, which means so much when I’m away from my baby. She even brought in a package for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. I really appreciated the peace of mind knowing someone reliable and kind was looking after things at home. Would definitely recommend her!”

About: I grew up with cats. My childhood cat, Stella Luna, got me through being sick as a kid, and I've loved them before and since. I've had my two current rescues since they were kittens. Cucumber was scooped off the street, and he's loved me conditionally ever since — he lets me know he's ready for affection with powerful head-butts, and somehow feels more confident and sociable in a shirt. He also insists on being called "a good boy." His sister, Daisy, still looks like a kitten at 7, loves to stalk me, and shows her affection through aggressive grooming, whether human/cat brother. She is widely acknowledged as the alpha cat and keeps dog brother, Jeffrey, in line when he gets too sassy with Cucumber. Every cat is different, and I'm comfortable reading their body language and respecting whatever boundaries they set. I let a cat sniff me first and follow their lead. I also watch for the early signs of overstimulation, so I can back off before it's ever an issue, rather than waiting for a cat to have to tell me twice. I'm especially patient with shy or hiding cats, letting them come to me instead of forcing it. My partner and I technically share these two, but they've both decided I'm their person. And I think this is the highest recommendation I can offer. I take their obsession as a deep compliment and share in their obsession equally back.

“Simon was a phenomenal caretaker for my guy Cornelius. Checked in and out with every visit, communicated amazingly throughout the entire time. He definitely has a knack for taking great doggo pics. Was also able to accommodate a last minute booking and extension of service due to travel delays. Highly recommend booking with him if you want someone caring about your dogs much as you do while you’re not there!”

“Angela cat-sat for us for a long weekend and did a great job with our cat. He's only been with us for about 1.5 months, so his routine can be a little tricky. She accommodated him wonderfully, and he appeared very happy when we returned.”

“Elizabeth was prompt with her visits and reports. She made me feel secure about being away from Tula. Everything was in order when we returned. I would trust her to check on her again if needed.”

“Elizabeth was amazing! My skittish cats warmed up to her right away. She played with them & gave them extra treats. They’re very good motivated, so they’ll love her forever. Next time I’m out of time I’ll definitely call Elizabeth again”

“I just moved to New Orleans and work very long hours. I won’t leave my dog alone for extended periods and I’m so grateful I found Ellen. Waylon fit in so well with her pups and absolutely loved his day with Ellen and her crew. I loved all the updates I got from Ellen throughout the day; I knew my pup was in good hands and was treated just like one of her own. Waylon has been passed out on the couch since we’ve gotten back from Ellen’s. I would not hesitate to go back and use her services again, and I highly recommend her to anyone in the area to look after your fur babies.”

“Michael was fantastic! We were traveling through town, and last minute decided to find a sitter so we could check out the city. Michael responded super fast and was incredibly flexible regarding drop off and pick up times. Also, my dog seemed to like him a lot, and his opinion matters the most. :)”

About: I provide attentive, individualized care designed to keep your dog's routine as consistent and comfortable as possible while you're away. As a university instructor with a flexible schedule, I have the flexibility to provide frequent walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I care for every dog as an individual, following their normal routine as closely as possible while providing regular photo updates and a personalized boarding summary at the end of each stay. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have spent the past 12 years raising and caring for dogs of my own. I currently have two dogs: Wrigley, an 8-year-old Aussie, and Nova, a 6-year-old rescue Aussie/Husky mix who is blind and requires medications multiple times a day. Caring for Nova has given me hands-on experience with special-needs dogs, medication schedules, mobility limitations, and the patience and attention they require. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I treat every dog like an individual. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk, some extra attention, a consistent routine, or medication, I’m happy to provide dependable, loving care. I’m currently a surgery resident taking a research year (remotely) which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting throughout the week, with flexibility to accommodate different schedules and routines. I’m happy to work around your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and rest schedule, and I can provide consistent care rather than rushing in and out. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I take safety and trust seriously and will follow your instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medications, walks, and any house or pet-specific guidelines. My experience caring for Nova, a blind dog who needs medication multiple times a day, has taught me to be attentive to details and proactive about potential safety concerns. I’m comfortable working with dogs who need extra patience, structure, or special accommodations. I’ll treat your home with respect, communicate clearly, and make sure your dog receives the same consistency and care I would want for my own pets.
“Tayler was amazing. My dog Lacey always get separation anxiety and tends to cry when I leave and is a little lack lister but Tayler was one of the few that was able to get her to eat her dinner. Lacey usually will not eat unless I or my husband feeds her, but Lacey was happy to stay with Tayler. Thanks for taking such great care of our “baby”.”

“Roxanne took great care of my boy got the day while I was visiting NOLA. I was so nervous to leave him with a stranger but when I left him with Roxanne, I was confident that he was in good hands. Thank you so much, Roxanne!”

“Alyssa is amazing! HIGHLY recommend. She took in my doggie for day care services somewhat last minute and made my rescue/anxious dog feel so comfortable and loved. She was super communicative throughout the day and always made me know my dog was being take of.”

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.

About: What sets me apart is that I don’t simply “check in” on your fur babies; I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and needs. I have years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, including regular and extended care while their families travel. For the past six years, I’ve been consistently trusted to care for pets when Dad and Mom go away on frequent trips, including stays of more than 30 days. I’m comfortable administering medications, staying at your residence, accommodating specific dietary needs and feeding schedules, maintaining established routines, regular walks and exercise, litter care, playtime, and, of course, plenty of companionship and affection. And please, give me ALL the instructions! You can leave me a legitimate PowerPoint presentation about your baby, and I will happily follow it to a T. 😂 I know every pet has their own routine, favorite things, quirks, boundaries, and very specific ways they like things done. (I’m a Virgo, so I know meticulous details. 😂) I’d much rather know every little detail so I can keep their world as familiar and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I will also send you pictures and updates to provide you with peace of mind. I’m patient with shy or cautious animals, attentive to changes in behavior, and happy to adapt to different personalities, ages, and energy levels. Whether your baby needs long walks and playtime, is a workout nut (to keep me in shape, too 😂), needs extra attention, wants a cuddle buddy, or needs someone who understands that affection happens strictly on THEIR terms, I’ll follow their lead. Most importantly, I understand that you’re trusting me with a member of your family and, often, your home as well. I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your babies are safe, your home is safe, and your babies are comfortable, loved, and having a pretty great time with their favorite auntie, while you take care of whatever needs your attention, without having to stress about what’s happening back at home. 🐾❤️ I have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to easily incorporate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. Whether your baby needs early morning or evening walks, scheduled feedings, medication at specific times, regular check-ins, playtime, or simply someone around to keep them company, I can adjust my schedule around their needs. I’m also available for overnight and extended stays in your home, which allows your pets to remain comfortable in their own environment and maintain the routine they’re already used to. Since my schedule has flexibility, I’m happy to spend quality time with your babies rather than rushing in and out. 🐾❤️ When caring for pets in my home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, walks, exercise, litter care, playtime, bedtime routines, and all of those little details that make your baby feel safe and at home. We spend most of the day together, so they are not alone for long periods of time if I have to run off to check on another baby. I’m happy to stay overnight and spend quality time with your pets rather than simply popping in and out if you prefer. I’ll give them the level of attention and affection THEY are comfortable with, whether that means lots of cuddles and companionship, plenty of activity, or giving a shy kitty their space until they decide I’ve earned their approval. 😂 I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to give mine. I’ll keep things tidy, clean as needed, and secure, and send you regular pictures and updates. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing that both your babies and your home are being genuinely cared for. 🐾
“Ayanna was such a wonderful person to have walk our dogs while my mom was away. One of our dogs takes a little time to warm up to people but after a day when she realized Ayanna was there to help her, she gladly joined her sister in their daily walks. It was great knowing they were in good hands! Thanks you, Ayanna!”

“Tucker loved staying at Ashley’s house and playing with Opal! Thanks for the great pictures and taking great care of Tucker Ashley! He will be back!”

“This was our third time having Katie take care of our dog, Mylo, and she has been consistently wonderful. Her communication is excellent. She’s always helpful, informative, and keeps us updated. Mylo can be on the nervous side when he’s away from home, but he genuinely seems to enjoy his time with her. Katie does everything she can to make him feel comfortable and at home, which gives us great peace of mind. We’re so grateful to have found her and will absolutely continue booking with her.”

“Our boarding with Etta was perfect. Great communication, lots of updates, and she took really good care of our dog Baron. We highly recommend her services. Best pet sitter in the New Orleans area! We will definitely be boarding with Etta again.”
“Leaving Bentley with Kate and Conor felt like having a friend take care of him! Bentley was immediately comfortable with them. Kate was attentive to all of Bentley’s care needs. Bentley wasn’t even that excited to see me when I picked him up, which always tells me when he feels right at home with his sitter. Highly recommend and will definitely be rebooking!”

“Chayanne was great with my best friend Phil. He came home happy and healthy and appropriately tired. She was super flexible with my schedule changes and a good communicator. Recommend!”

“Cheyenne had a great space, communication and our dog Rothko seemed very well taken care of and happy when we picked him up! We will definitely be back!”

“Charlee had a great time with Ben! He sent pictures and updates every day and was flexible with scheduling, drop off and pick up times. Will definitely use again! We very much appreciate his service!”

“She's great! She helped socialize my boy with the other doggos staying there and gave him a bath and a nail trim before he came home! He's tuckered out from a great little vacation.”
