About: I’ve had my own pets and taken care of others’ pets for decades. I love playing with cats, taking walks with dogs, throwing the ball, and I’m a big-time cuddler. I work from home on my own technology business and I’m available 24 hours a day all over Chicago. I’m also fine with short notice. We have a fantastic gated park across the street that we love taking puppies to. Inside our house there are a dozen different places for dogs and cats to rest. Drop-off and pick-up are easy here, too, as we have a door right onto the street.

About: I grew up with two big dogs who were more than a handful and walked them around my neighborhood when I was younger. When I moved to the city my favorite weekends were when my cousin asked me to dog sit because who doesn't love some puppy love? I am responsible and will treat your dog with the same level of love that I'm sure you treat them yourself. I have experience walking smaller dogs all the way up to big woofers who need a little extra attention. In the past, many of the dogs I've watched haven't been the best with other dogs so I have a lot of experience with taking routes that avoid other dogs and how to manage the situation if we do run into one. Jessie was very communicative. She let me give all the crazy dog mom details about my dog. We met up briefly before the walk, more so she knew I was real since I’m new here. After the walk, Jessie provided a detailed description of the walk. She clearly understood my dog and his behaviors when describing him not wanting to walk. Would definitely call on Jessie again.

Highly Recommend! I cannot recommend Kaycee enough! For personal medical reasons, I found myself unable to lift or pull weight, which severely limited my ability to control my dog, Katalina. I desperately needed someone reliable to take over her morning potty walks before 8:30 AM every day, and Kaycee stepped right up. For 1.5 months, Kaycee was consistently punctual, incredibly responsible, and completely trustworthy. Katalina is a total sweetie who loves people and other dogs, but she definitely likes to try to chase birds on walks, Kaycee handled her with ease, care, and great patience. She also helped out with our house-sitting routine whenever we needed extra coverage, giving us complete peace of mind. While we are sad to see her go, we are so happy for her as she moves on to her new job. If you have the opportunity to hire Kaycee, do it! We would book her again in a heartbeat. 100% recommended!

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
