Missing My Dogs, Loving Yours!
I was the neighborhood dogsitter at my home in Madison, WI, starting at age 10. I have dogsat and walked dogs of every size, age, breed, and energy level, and I have never met a dog that I didn't love! During the Pandemic, when I was 16, I convinced my parents to get our first dog, and subsequently convinced them to get our dog a friend. I was the primary caretaker for both dogs from day one on (we adopted the first at 8 weeks old and the second at 5 months), and I consider them both my kids. I miss them now that I'm in the city, but my parents bring them down here every so often, and I make a point to visit them as often as I can! I attended Puppy Kindergarten with both of my dogs, so I'm familiar with training techniques. I used what I learned in those classes to train my own dogs as well as my cousins' dogs. I'm also extremely active and enjoy getting out and about in the city. I would be more than happy to take your dog/s out adventuring with me!

I am happy to care for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I always take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special needs they might have so that I can provide the best care for them while you're away! Whether we're going for walks, playing, feeding, or spending time together, I make sure to prioritize the pet's safety, happiness, and well-being. I'm a big fan of positive reinforcement, and I make sure to always closely follow owner instructions. During visits, I'll make sure your pet gets all the attention, exercise, mental stimulation, and affection they need while keeping their environment clean and secure. I also love to provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands!

Anna was our long-time neighbor, who would regularly watch, walk, and care for our dogs. Anna has an instinct for animal care, and dogs immediately trust and develop a positive connection with her. She is gentle, kind, calm, and positive in her mannerisms and speech toward them. Dogs know she cares about them. Our dogs always loved to see her in the backyard or when she would bring her family's dogs over to play with ours. When she dog sat for us, our dogs always got lots of attention, walks, and play time with her, along with Anna taking care of eating, drinking, and bathroom needs. In addition to her qualities in dog handling and connection, Anna is mature, responsible, and diligent with her care. Anna is incredibly reliable and safety conscious. We knew our dogs loved her, but we also never had to worry that the dogs were safe and being cared for by a conscientious sitter. We have absolutely no hesitations about Anna's ability and desire to take care of dogs.

Schedule
I'm currently waiting to start my job at the end of June, so I have plenty of free time to play or walk your pups or take care of your cats! I will begin working a fairly flexible job as an Apartment Locator (similar to a realtor) at the end of June and should be able to fit some pet time into my schedule then as well!
