I also provide regular updates so you always have peace of mind. I am completely dedicated to caring for my own dog, and I’d love to care for your pet too! I’m newer to offering my services professionally, so I hope you will give me the chance to prove I am the safest and most loving option for your pet care! I have a very flexible job so I spend a lot of time at home with my dog. On weekdays we go for multiple 1-2 mile walks. On weekends we walk 5-6 miles a day. I live in an apartment, so I will take your dog to the designated turf for dog relief outside my building, or to one of the many nearby green spaces. I have a large wire crate and a large soft side crate that can be used for your dog if desired. In your home, I will respect all rules and protocols and ensure everything runs as smoothly as it would if you were there yourself.

About: I’ve volunteered at Chicago Animal Care and Control for years, so I continue to work with all sorts of animals with even the most troubled backgrounds. I’m comfortable with any temperament and can even administer medication if necessary. I’ve personally had pets my whole life, including cats, guinea pigs, and reptiles. Currently, I have a cat and a bearded dragon, and they’d love to make some new friends! :) I pet sit full-time, so I’m available all day and your baby has my full attention. I work in consulting and higher education usually, but I’m in between formal jobs at the moment, so I can be home all day. With only a cat and bearded dragon at home, I have enough space to house another cat or small dog. I don’t crate, but I can put them in separate rooms if necessary. They are my only job so I’d be around 24/7 to watch them.

Dogs are always supervised, and I make sure they’re securely leashed during walks and when entering or leaving the building. My own dog, Scoresby, is friendly and well-socialized, and he enjoys having other dogs join us for our daily walks, covering at least 2 miles a day through different parks and routes in the South Loop. Whether a pup is staying with me or I’m visiting them in their own home, I focus on creating a consistent, caring environment.
