“Jason has been amazing walking my foster dog DJ for very long walks every day during 2 weeks! My dog is just 1.5 years old with LOTS of energy and is still learning obedience, so that was not an easy job. Jason helped me a lot in this phase establishing a routine of intense exercise daily. Highly recommend Jason! Thanks for your help”

“Ruthie loves seeing Anastasiia! While they don’t see each other very often, they became good friends and we love having Anastasiia care for Ruthie whenever possible.”

About: Hi, there! I’m Sandie! I am a late-boomer dog lover. I consider doggies are our children! Teach full time during school year, but flexible in the summer. I groom my own pup, she’s my art. ❤️ to meet your baby. I work from home 1/2 time during school year. My schedule is quite flexible in the summer. I walk my own pup 2-3 times per day. Spend more time with my pup outdoors when weather permits on the weekends. I am in a condo, close to a few parks and 2 gated, off-leash dog parks in the south loop neighborhood. I have a few dog bed/blanket spots for doggies. Dog harness and leash are a must when we are outside. I will only accept one dog in my apartment at a time. Will follow client’s home rules if I dog sit at their place.
“Eunice was so wonderful with our dog! She was punctual, communicative, thoughtful, and most of all a dog lover. We would rebook her and recommend her anytime! She gave detailed information immediately after each walk and followed our instructions carefully.”

About: I excel in both dog and cat care through my patience and attention to detail. I take time to learn each pet’s routine and personality so they feel comfortable and cared for. I also provide regular updates so you always have peace of mind. I am completely dedicated to caring for my own dog, and I’d love to care for your pet too! I’m newer to offering my services professionally, so I hope you will give me the chance to prove I am the safest and most loving option for your pet care! I have a very flexible job so I spend a lot of time at home with my dog. On weekdays we go for multiple 1-2 mile walks. On weekends we walk 5-6 miles a day. I live in an apartment, so I will take your dog to the designated turf for dog relief outside my building, or to one of the many nearby green spaces. I have a large wire crate and a large soft side crate that can be used for your dog if desired. In your home, I will respect all rules and protocols and ensure everything runs as smoothly as it would if you were there yourself.
“Jacob was my first dog walker for Bear. He arrived later than booked but communicated his arrival. Jacob was able to answer my questions and we spoke about Bear and his behavior. Jacob returned with a happy pup after an hour. I like the report card that shows the walk they went on. I would recommend.”

“Anthony was great with our rescue, Belle. He made sure he replicated our usual routine, taking care to walk her along her usual route to make her as comfortable as possible. Commensurate professional and we look forwards to booking Anthony again!”

“Nadine is absolutely wonderful! My dog Maverick tells me about all the fun adventures and colorful sniffs they unfold together. The pictures of Maverick are definitely ones I love to see while I'm off making movie magic to fill his dog bowl and repeat this wonderful cycle. Keep the good vibes going.”

About: I've been caring for cats and dogs for over 12 years and have experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and energy levels. As a lifelong animal lover and cat owner myself, I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pet. Friends, family, and neighbors regularly trust me with their pets because I provide attentive care, follow instructions carefully, and treat every animal like they're my own. I am available Saturdays through Mondays and have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting visits throughout the day. I am based in Chicago's South Loop and generally prefer bookings nearby so I can provide reliable and timely care. I welcome both recurring clients and new pets. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and respectful of both pets and owners' homes I currently provide care in clients' homes rather than my own. I understand that every pet has unique routines, preferences, and needs, and I take the time to follow each owner's instructions closely. My goal is to help pets feel comfortable and safe while maintaining the routines they're familiar with.
“Erin is just amazing with my senior dog. In such a short time, my dog has become friends with her. Erin is very professional, punctual and takes full care of my dog when walking him.”
About: I grew up with two dogs who are now over the rainbow bridge. . Two Yorkshire Terriers named Buddy and Beary! Many of my friends have dogs, and I grew up around dogs of all sizes and breeds. Additionally, I had a senior medically challenging cat for about 8 years. He recently passed on January 3rd, 2023. He was the love of my life and I did all the things needed to care from him. I have experience administering medication both orally and through shots, giving fluids subcutaneously, and giving animals hygiene care. I am adaptable and willing to work with any animal. I am able to bathe, walk, feed, administer medicine, and play with your pet. I am available mostly on weekends and in the evenings during the week after 5pm. I am a high school science teacher who loves to explore the world with curiosity and loves all things, especially animals and science. I am hoping to get some extra income for the holidays and summer! Rates are flexible, just trying to get started with Rover! I am a high school science teacher and trying to boost my income as well as play with some animals. After losing my cat, I enjoy the company of all fur babies. I will treat the pet as my own. At my home, my home had to be adapted around my cat. As a senior animal he had step stools , multiple litter boxes that are cleaned daily, and a specific diet and medications that take time to administer. I will happily meet your pets needs as best I can.
“Reid is amazing! My dog Yuna is usually very hesitant with new people and has never wanted to go out with anyone but me—until Reid. He was so patient and gentle with her, and managed to earn her trust. Now she happily goes on long walks with him! Reid sent great updates and clearly cares deeply about the dogs he watches. If you have a sensitive or selective pup, Reid is the one you want. Total peace of mind!”

“Lillian has been great with my dogs and very communicative throughout the walks. She took the time to make sure they were comfortable, shared updates and photos, and went above and beyond with their care. I really appreciated her flexibility and willingness to work with my schedule, especially while I was out of town. I felt confident knowing my dogs were in good hands, and I would absolutely recommend her to other pet parents.”

“Namira has been amazing with my dog, Bella! She has been reliable taking Bella for a lunch time walk every day while I am at work, and is willing to travel to take Bella out. Leaving your dog is hard enough, but Namira makes it easier and sends me photos before and after walks. She is an absolute pleasure - I highly recommend!”

About: With a love of animals and a dog of my own, I understand that your furry friend is family. I’m an active person who believes a tired dog is a happy dog, so I love taking frequent, long walks to keep pups healthy and stimulated. Whether it's a quick potty break or a holiday boarding stay, I provide a safe, loving environment where your pet will be treated just like one of my own. I have a hybrid work schedule and am able to provide lunch walks. I can also do morning and evening walks as I'm used to frequent walking with my own dog. My building has a long dog run ideal for playing fetch. I also walk my dog 3 to 5 miles daily and can do the same with yours!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Near South Side
Eunice was absolutely the best. Not only did she agree to take on several days of walks with Goonie at the very last minute, but she was also incredibly punctual and responsive throughout. I have a senior dog who is very sweet but requires extra care, and Eunice handled this beautifully. She showed Goonie nothing but patience, love, and attention, and I truly appreciated her kindness and hard work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and compassionate dog walker.
