About: I’ve had dogs for over 25 years - from puppyhood through their senior days. My last dog passed away late last year, and now we’re looking forward to taking care of other people’s dogs! My wife and are retired and on the days we accept reservations will have plenty of time to take your dog on long walks and play! We have a single-floor apartment in the South Loop, We can accommodate a crate if your dog uses one. We will always follow your guidance on how much or little your dog prefers to interact with other dogs and people.

Steven and his wife were wonderful! Miller came home tired, happy, and clearly had the best time. Steven kept me updated throughout the few days he watched Miller and even sent lots of pictures, which I really appreciated. Miller went on so many walks, which is absolutely his favorite thing to do, so he was truly living his best life! I would highly recommend Steven and his wife to anyone looking for someone who will take great care of their dog. We will be rebooking!
Ahh Kaira was THE BEST to work with and to have watch my dog. I can't believe he ate while there! Goes to show how comfortable Phoenix was in her home. Great communication, she asked clarifying questions instead of assuming anything🙌🏽 and sent photos and gave updates each day. So glad we found her and will use her again for dog sitting any time she's available! 10🌟
This was our first time having Dora and Ben board our dog, and they were the best sitters we’ve found on Rover yet! They paid close attention to detail, carefully reviewed her care instructions, and closed the loop to make sure we were all on the same page. We also loved getting 4–8 photos a day, which gave us a great sense of how she was doing and what her stay looked like. When our dog got into some of their food while they were out at dinner, they let us know right away and handled it calmly and kindly, even though she made a mess. They reassured us they’d keep a close eye on her and contact us immediately if they had any concerns or thought she needed veterinary care. We felt completely at ease knowing she was so well cared for. She was definitely spoiled, and we’d love to book with them again if they’ll have us!
Emily was amazing! She took wonderful care of our yellow lab, Pancake, while I was out of town for a week. She was so responsive and easy to communicate with, and I felt completely at ease knowing Pancake was in her care. I would absolutely book Emily again and highly recommend her!
My first experience with Samantha and it won’t be my last. She. Was so welcoming to me and treated our little Leo like a prince. He looked happy and settled in all the photos and videos she sent and he was very calm and happy still when I picked him up. I’m so fortunate to have met her.
Fortino was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Ember! About two weeks before her stay, Ember tore her CCL, so we were understandably nervous about boarding her while she was still recovering and needed extra care and activity restrictions. Fortino immediately put us at ease and was incredibly accommodating with everything she needed. He took great care to make sure Ember stayed safe, comfortable, and on track with her recovery throughout her stay. He was also very responsive and always available whenever I had a question or simply wanted to check in on her. Knowing Ember was in such attentive and caring hands gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We are incredibly grateful to Fortino for taking such great care of her during a particularly stressful time and would absolutely trust him with Ember again. Highly recommend!

She’s been incredibly accommodating with my last-minute requests, which I really appreciate, and she’s always great about communicating and keeping me updated. Larry can be a little dog-selective, but he gets along so well with Vivian’s dog, who is incredibly friendly, calm, and sweet. Every time Larry comes home, he’s relaxed and happy, which gives me so much peace of mind. Vivian also always sends the cutest pictures and updates throughout his stay. Gabriel was an amazing sitter! He took incredible care of my paralyzed baby and sent me tons of photo updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. He also went above and beyond to make me feel better when my flight was canceled and I ended up being delayed an entire day getting back.
