About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. At home in Colombia, my house was full of paws: four cats, a shepherd dog, and a beagle before that. I've also pet sat for friends' dogs, including a Yorkie and a Cocker Spaniel. I have a special patience for puppies: the training, the energy, the chaos; I genuinely love it. And since I'm not working right now, your pet gets my full attention, all day long. No rushing home after a shift, just 100% focused, loving care. I live in Hyde Park, right in front of Harold Washington Park, and just minutes from Jackson Park, so long walks and outdoor playtime are always on the menu! I considered studying veterinary but realized I simply can't stand seeing animals suffer, which tells you everything about how much I care. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel as loved as mine do back home. Since I'm currently not working, pet care fits perfectly and naturally into my entire day. I wake up late morning, which means lazy morning cuddles are always on the table, perfect for cats or calm dogs who love a slow start to the day. From there, my day is completely flexible and centered around the pet's routine, whether that's feeding, litter care, playtime at home, or heading out for a walk to Harold Washington Park or Jackson Park, both just minutes from my place. I'm also available for overnight stays, so pets never have to spend the night alone or anxious in an unfamiliar space. At my home in Hyde Park: My apartment is a calm and loving space, no other pets, so your furry friend gets all the attention. I'm home all day, which means no long lonely hours. For cats, I make sure to provide a comfortable, stress-free environment, respecting their need for space and routine. For dogs, living right in front of Harold Washington Park and minutes from Jackson Park means fresh air and walks are always just steps away. I also offer overnight stays, so pets can settle in and feel truly at home. At your home: I understand that many pets, especially cats, feel most comfortable in their own space. When visiting your home, I follow your pet's established routine as closely as possible, feeding schedules, litter care, favorite toys, nap spots. I don't just stop by quickly, I stay long enough for real playtime and genuine connection. In both cases: I treat every pet like my own. Growing up with cats, dogs, and everything in between taught me to read animal behavior, respect their boundaries, and give them the kind of love and patience they deserve. And since my own two cats are waiting for me back in Colombia, I know exactly what it feels like to trust someone with the animals you love most. 🐾❤️

My Archie had the best time with Emisa! I needed help last minute when another sitter canceled, and Emisa was responsive and SO flexible, making it easy for me to pick up and drop off at the times that worked for me. She shared some of her dog’s food when I accidentally didn’t send enough. She took him on long walks and sent updates every day. Her dog Zeus is sweet and gentle as well. Between Emisa and her husband, Archie got lots of attentive care for his stay. He didn’t even seem that excited to see me when I got back! I would highly recommend booking with Emisa!
Dora went above and beyond for Fibi! She and Ben took great care of Fibi and I felt extremely comforted knowing Fibi was in great hands. They took her on multiple walks and the dog park throughout the day and they were great at communicating and sending updates and photos. Fibi is normally very shy and takes some time to warm up to people but she was immediately comfortable with Dora and Ben! Would highly recommend!
Ashley made herself available to watch Mars on such short notice, and she asked a lot of thoughtful questions to make sure he was comfortable and cared for. she sent regular updates and it warmed my heart to see him having such a great time while we were away’ we would hire Ashley again in a heartbeat.
Sarah was an amazing dog sitter! She took care of Moose for an extended period while I was traveling, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. She took wonderful care of her and sent me lots of photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I came home to a very happy and well-cared-for Moose. I highly recommend Sarah and would absolutely use her again!
Julie was very communicative and helpful leading up to Pluto’s stay, which I really appreciated! I would have loved a few more proactive updates throughout the stay, but she responded quickly and shared photos and videos whenever I requested. Overall Pluto seemed comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. I’d definitely feel comfortable leaving him with Julie again!
Ann watched Toby for the second time while he was still recovering from a tooth extraction. She did a great job adjusting his care knowing he couldn’t chew anything hard. She also adapted to the extreme heat, which he hates. It’s also noteworthy he’s still super happy to see her when we swing by. He might miss me, but he’s in good hands with Ann.
Bola did a great job at managing my concerns. This was the first time I had to leave Bentley this long. She sent photos and updates, and even sent him home with a fresh bath. He always comes back exhausted from playing so much. Today was no different he actually fell asleep in the car which is something he never does. Thank you Bola, we will be back to see you again.
